Klaus stood on the side, watching as Tasha examined her body.
Now that she had awakened her hybrid bloodline, becoming half Elf and half Qilin, he knew she had to first get used to her power before she tried to go get revenge.
Luckily, unlike in the past, when she mostly depended on her friends to save her from danger, in this life, she is already a deadly warrior, and now that her powers have awakened, she can do more than before.
"Are you satisfied with your newfound strength, or do you want to take some time to cultivate some more? You are a Pseudo-Primordial now, so focusing on manifesting your Dao is next."
"I am fine, Ef—Klaus," she said, correcting how she referred to Klaus. "I will focus on that after we are done making your incarnation a God. After that, we will go find ways and means to get revenge on the people who had wronged me."
Klaus nodded.
Efad is the next in line to become a God, so they have to handle that first. Once that is taken care of, they will indeed seek revenge after she is comfortable with her new power.
"Then let’s get on that now," Klaus said, and the next second, Efad, who had cleared the 10th Void Vortex, appeared wearing a handsome smile on his face.
"The day has finally arrived," he said, stopping before Klaus, who just smirked.
Tasha, who had no idea how the same person in two bodies can both hate and like himself, shook her head and decided to mind her own business.
She opened the gateway to the Paragon Star that Efad will use for the God Ascension Trial.
The moment it opened, Efad walked toward it and stopped in front of it. "It will be best if you don’t go out there hunting more Starlight until I am done here. I have a feeling something big is about to happen."
He stepped through the gateway and vanished into the Paragon Star.
Klaus smirked but said nothing.
After they met the mysterious man inside his soul sea who warned them about the Paragon Legacy, Klaus had this nagging feeling that something big was indeed about to happen.
While he cannot sense Kaden after he returned to the Elemental Garden, he knew he would soon be facing his own dangers. But this feeling was within this universe, so he knew he had to be ready for whatever was coming.
’No need. When the time comes, we will face it with everything we have,’ he said inwardly and turned to look at Tasha, who was now seated in a lotus posture and had entered her soul sea to examine her power.
’I better go back out there and inform Love of what had happened before she starts looking for us when she wakes up.’
Klaus gave Tasha another look, and then he vanished back to the outside world, appearing atop Love’s mansion.
He scanned the house, and luckily, Love was still asleep. He didn’t bother going to her, so he sat down and started to meditate.
Meanwhile, somewhere in the Chaos Cave, Queenie and five of her sisters, Lucy, Vida, Tifa, Miriam, and Nia, stood atop a mountain overlooking a vast valley 2km away from them.
The valley is vast enough to be regarded as plain land suitable for farming and many other things.
However, while the valley is clean and harmless, just ahead of it, a vast forest teeming with chaos beasts lies before them. All six ladies could sense the dangers hidden and waiting for them to step in.
"So the gateway is hidden somewhere there, right?" Tifa, the Vampire Queen, asked, staring at Queenie.
"Yes. During the Blood Era, this place was the battlefield where the warriors of the Asura race faced the chaos beasts in ten different battles. We won them all, but as you can see, not all of them died.
"But back then, they weren’t much of a threat, and since every last Asura was destined to die, we needed a place where, even if there were no guards, the Heavens Court wouldn’t dare come. Hence, the gateway was placed here using the chaos beasts as guards," Queenie replied, and her sisters sighed.
"It appears your guards have now become a problem." Miriam laughed, knowing that if they unleashed their full power, clearing out this forest would be child’s play.
"Nari said the Beast Legion is on standby to come whenever you give the command," Lucy said after speaking to Nari, who, after she reunited with her sisters, the other two true Calamities, Ignitia and Aleera, she choose to stay by their side a catch up.
Queenie nodded and turned to Vida. "Go back to Asha’s Insect Domain and make sure the others are ready too. We have to be swift and precise since this place is much closer to the domain of the Seven Ancient Primordial Families."
Vida gave a silent nod and vanished into Asha’s Insect Domain, where most of their sisters had been spending time after they left for their three Asura Key gathering mission.
Queenie took a deep breath and jumped, landing in the valley 2km away. Her sisters followed, and in no time, they were only 3km away from the Chaos Forest.
The reason they call it Chaos Cave is that, from a certain vantage point, the entire valley, paired with the Chaos Forest, looks like one big cave.
However, in reality, it is not a cave but more like a forest. Now, they would have to destroy this forest and everything hidden within.
Just when they were 2km away, a portal opened to their left, and their sisters started walking out. Asha led them while her two Ant Generals, Linx and Jinx, walked side by side with her.
The two, after Asha became a Supreme, had already reached the early stages of Pseudo-Primordial; however, underestimating them would be a serious mistake.
Today, Asha and Nadia will be revealing some of their power to everyone. But not just yet, not when the battle hadn’t shown its true face to them.
So for now, the only two insects that came out were Linx and Jinx. The rest of her sisters followed, and the last to come out were the three Asura Keys: Kalynda, Aster and Hermina.
