We are committed to protecting your digital privacy. Unlike many other websites, we do not use Google Analytics. Instead, we use privacy-focused analytics tools that do not track you across the web.

  • Cloudflare Web Analytics: We use Cloudflare to monitor the health and performance of our website. This service measures site traffic in an aggregate, anonymous way. It does not use "cookies" or local storage to collect information.
  • Umami Analytics: We use a self-hosted instance of Umami to understand which novels are popular. Umami is privacy-compliant and GDPR-compliant. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other sites, and anonymizes all data collected.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect in various ways, including to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain our website.
  • Enable the "Bookmark" feature so you can save your reading progress.
  • Enable the "Comment" feature so you can discuss novels with the community.
  • Prevent fraud and ensure the security of our website.

3. Cookies and Web Beacons

NovelRoll uses "cookies" strictly for necessary functionality.

  • Authentication Cookies: If you log in, we use a cookie to keep you logged in as you navigate between chapters.
  • Preferences: We may store local preferences (like Dark Mode or Font Size) in your browser's Local Storage so you don't have to reset them every time you visit.

Since we use privacy-focused analytics (Cloudflare and Umami), we do not set third-party tracking cookies for analytics purposes.
