The Scarlet King reveals the Curse Eaters' true goal: to return home by erasing the current inhabitants of the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe. As he prepares to annihilate them, a being of immense power intervenes, revealed to be the Tenth Empyrean World King. The King addresses the Scarlet King as "brother," hinting at a shared past.

"Long time no see, brother."

Cain’s eyes narrowed as he heard those words, his mind sharpening and growing colder with every passing second. His gaze remained fixed upon the enormous red eyes that dominated the sky, eyes that carried the terrifying Power of Order and an existence so ancient that even the surrounding void seemed to bend beneath their presence.

Instinctively, Cain’s thoughts went to Noah.

The Neo-Primarch was an existence whose mysteries Cain had yet to fully unravel, and there were still countless questions surrounding his origin and connection to the Primordial Essence. However, there was one thing Cain knew with certainty.

Noah was not the King of the Tenth Empyrean World.

Cain remained silent as he stared into those red eyes. This was the first exchange he had ever shared with the leader of the Tenth Empyrean World, the enemy whose influence had followed him throughout his journey in Aether and whose forces had repeatedly clashed with the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe.

Even if they were only words, they were important.

Sooner or later, Cain would stand before the King of the Tenth Empyrean World in a battle where both would fight to the death. When that moment came, the state of his mind would matter just as much as the strength of his body. A single shred of hesitation, doubt, or lack of confidence could become the difference between life and death.

He could not afford to lose.

Brother.

That single word had clearly been chosen with a purpose. It was meant to shake his heart, unsettle his thoughts, and plant a seed of doubt that could potentially be exploited when the two Fourth Realm life forms finally clashed.

Yet denying the possibility outright would not be a suitable strategy either.

After everything Cain had learned about Noah, there was no longer any reason to believe that he was the only being born from the same Primordial Essence. There could be others scattered throughout existence, beings whose identities and histories remained hidden from him.

No one spoke.

Every warrior of the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe watched Cain, waiting to see how the Scarlet King would respond. Even the Curse Eaters remained silent, their eyes moving between the two Fourth Realm existences that now dominated the entire battlefield.

Then, finally, a calm smile appeared on Cain’s face.

"I don’t know why you would use that word for me," Cain said, his voice carrying across the Fallen Empyrean World with remarkable calmness, "but I must admit that part of me feels flattered."

The smile on the Scarlet King’s face widened as he stared directly into the red eyes.

"Being called brother by Adam, the Forefather of the Godslayer Humankind, is not a small thing."

The moment those words manifested, absolute shock swept through the souls of the warriors of the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe.

Among the Sacred Races, Adam was not simply a name.

It was a name that carried enough weight to shake history itself.

Adam was the ancient figure who had changed the course of humanity, the first human to break the barrier between realms and bring humankind into the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe.

He was the man who had led humanity through its earliest age, the figure whose existence had become synonymous with heroism, righteousness, and the birth of an entire civilization.

For billions of years, his name had been revered.

Even those among the Sacred Races who had once despised the Godslayer Humankind could not completely suppress the respect they felt whenever they spoke of their First Emperor. Adam was not merely their ancestor. He was a symbol of an era, a legendary figure whose actions had shaped the foundations upon which the current Nine Empyrean Suns Universe had been built.

And now Cain had declared that the mighty figure they had worshipped as the Forefather of Humanity was the very same being standing on the opposite side of the battlefield, the King of the Tenth Empyrean World who had spent countless years attempting to destroy them all.

The realization struck their souls like a thunderclap.

Had anyone else uttered those words, they would have been dismissed as madness or an attempt to sow discord. No one would have dared believe such an impossible claim.

But these words had come from the Scarlet King.

Cain was the one standing at the center of the battlefield, the one who had reached the Fourth Realm and personally fought the Incarnation of the Samsara Lord. His words carried a weight that none of the warriors present could simply ignore.

If the Scarlet King said that the holder of those red eyes was Adam, then there was no reason for them to doubt him.

The enormous red eyes remained stoic, seemingly unaffected by Cain’s declaration. Yet, for the briefest instant, a flash of meaningful light crossed them, revealing that his words had reached the ancient being behind them.

Silence returned to the universe.

For several seconds, the two Fourth Realm life forms simply stared at one another, each seemingly attempting to understand the other.

The lack of a response did not shake Cain’s confidence.

The identity of the King of the Tenth Empyrean World had been a mystery he had attempted to solve for a very long time. Yet the more he learned, the more the pieces began to fit together.

Many of the Tenth Empyrean World’s greatest warriors had once been members of the Six Sacred Races who had participated in the Great War billions of years ago. Cain had fought them, observed their behavior, and gathered countless fragments of information throughout their innumerable clashes.

Everything pointed toward the same conclusion.

The leader of the enemy was not merely connected to humanity.

He was the man humanity had once worshipped above all others.

"Forefather of Godslayer Humankind."

At last, the red eyes responded.

"It has been a long time since I have been called that."

There was no denial.

The words echoed across the Fallen Empyrean World and spread throughout the surrounding void, carrying the confirmation of the King of the Tenth Empyrean World’s true identity.

Adam.

The First Emperor of Godslayer Humankind.

A flash of remembrance crossed those ancient eyes. Adam’s gaze briefly shifted toward the humans standing behind Cain, and for an instant, something difficult to identify appeared within them before his attention returned to the Scarlet King.

"Your assessment was correct, young man. I do seek unification. I seek the reforging of the universe and its return to its original glory."

His voice remained calm, almost painfully calm.

"And to achieve that goal, I have done things that..."

He paused.

"...will hunt me forever."

Cain’s expression remained unchanged, but his hands slowly clenched.

"I have betrayed friends, killed loved ones, and twisted the very fabric of history, all in the name of preventing greater bloodshed."

Those words struck Cain harder than Adam could have known.

It was Adam’s orders that had caused the deaths of billions in Aether. It was Adam’s actions that had forced Cain to flee after becoming a True Primordial while being hunted by Divine Calamity. It was Adam who had manipulated events that ultimately caused the fall of two Empyrean Worlds by corrupting their leaders.

And it was Adam who had killed Anark.

Cain’s true brother.

For a moment, countless memories threatened to surge through his mind, but Cain did not shout. He did not explode in anger, nor did he allow his emotions to consume his judgment.

Instead, he slowly relaxed his clenched fists.

If Adam wanted to talk, Cain would let him talk.

There was no better opportunity to learn about the enemy he had been chasing for so long, to understand the thoughts of the man who had shaped so much of the suffering he had endured.

Cain’s eyes remained cold and unwavering. He would listen to every word and engrave it all. No matter how small or insignificant, it would remain with him, as it could save his life.

"I went to great lengths to restrain the growth and lifespan of the life forms of the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe. I killed many of the Primordials who stood by my side during the Great War before sealing away the others. I erased entire civilizations, burned countless Alpha Omega Overgod inheritances, and rewrote the history of the World Seed to ensure animosity and prevent the exchange of knowledge between races."

The red eyes flashed with weariness, as if every action carried an immense weight upon his soul.

"I became the bearer of countless sins..."

His voice remained calm.

"I did all of that so I would never reach this point. So I could simply let you slowly fade away before reforging what had been broken."

The light within his red eyes slowly changed, burning away all the pain and sadness under a fire created by a determination that seemed capable of burning for eternity.

"I became the bearer of countless sins for my people, and I will do it again. I wanted to avoid this bloodshed, but it is clear that you will not fade, so... I will have to end you all."
