The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order Chapter 2689: Embodiment of Chaos

"Sundering Samsara!"
The Incarnation of the Samsara Lord roared as the Myriad Sword ignited with brilliant purple flames before descending toward the Scarlet King with enough might to cleave a small universe in half.
Cain’s golden Eye of Flow glowed intensely.
Countless possibilities unfolded within his mind. Every movement of the Incarnation, every change in the sword’s trajectory, and every possible reaction Cain could make appeared before him as countless branching paths. He saw thousands of ways to move his body, redirect Tyranus Gungnir, or escape the attack.
Yet the more possibilities he saw, the deeper his frown became.
None of them worked.
’I will not make it.′
For the first time since the battle began, Cain felt that he was truly facing an attack he could not evade.
The sword descended.
Then Cain’s focus shifted toward his Eye of Chaos.
The crimson eye began to glow.
An ocean of willpower erupted from within it, vast enough to shake the very foundations of his soul. But this was not merely Cain’s own will.
It was the convergence of the willpower belonging to the entire Nine Empyrean Suns Universe.
The countless warriors fighting to protect their homes.
The countless beings who refused to surrender.
The countless souls whose deepest desire was simply to survive and see their loved ones again.
Their wills converged with Cain’s.
And that was enough.
Cain’s eyes blazed.
"Rise, Embodiment of Chaos—Emperor of Conquest!"
His roar echoed across the void.
The next instant, something manifested between Cain and the descending Samsara Sword.
A gigantic claw covered in radiant scarlet chains emerged from the void.
"BOOOOOOM!"
The chained claw collided with the Myriad Sword.
An explosion of red and purple plasma immediately erupted, expanding into a gigantic sphere of destructive energy that resembled a newborn sun.
Its radiance was so immense that it illuminated the darkness across the void.
For several seconds, that terrifying light could be seen throughout the entire Nine Empyrean Suns Universe.
The sword strike carried the full might of the Incarnation of the Samsara Lord, a force capable of killing a genuine Fourth Realm life form.
No one could see what had happened within the explosion.
No one could determine who had won the clash.
Then the light finally began to fade.
What remained was a devastated section of the void.
Space had completely collapsed, while countless stars and celestial bodies had been reduced to dust. The surrounding laws had been shattered, leaving behind a vast region of absolute destruction.
And within that wasteland, two figures were blasted in opposite directions.
The arm of the Incarnation trembled violently from the recoil.
Blood continued to ooze from the wound across its chest, yet it paid no attention to its injuries.
Its eyes were focused entirely on the being standing before Cain.
It was a terrifying figure.
Two slender red eyes burned within its face beneath a wide, ferocious smile. Enormous horns rose from its head like a twisted crown, while countless scarlet chains capable of enduring the might of the Fourth Realm emerged from every part of its body.
A blazing red coat flowed behind it, dancing within the turbulent void.
The Emperor of Conquest.
The entity slowly extended its robe.
Behind it stood the intact figure of the Scarlet King.
Cain had not merely survived the sword strike.
The Emperor of Conquest had blocked the attack completely and protected Cain from the devastating aftermath.
Its ability was truly extraordinary.
Yet that was far from all.
There were wounds scattered across the Emperor’s body, some deep enough to reveal the terrifying energy flowing beneath its flesh.
But the next instant, those wounds began to disappear.
Flesh reconstructed itself.
Scarlet energy surged through its body.
The injuries vanished as though they had never existed.
The Incarnation remained expressionless, but its grip around the Myriad Sword and shield tightened.
For the first time, its battle instinct was warning it about an opponent it had not anticipated.
Cain smiled when he noticed the reaction.
Yet, internally, he was just as shocked.
After the fusion of his Arch-Nephilim Body and Primordial Body, all of his Paths of Power had converged and evolved into something completely new. The Ego Eternal Path of Power no longer existed in its original form.
But that did not mean it had been lost.
On the contrary.
It had evolved.
The Eye of Chaos now carried the essence of Cain’s Power of Chaos, allowing his terrifying will to connect with the willpower of every life form that considered the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe their home.
And within that connection existed his Alter-Ego.
An existence far more terrifying than anything the old Ego Eternal Path could have produced.
The Emperor of Conquest was not merely an extension of Cain’s consciousness.
It was an independent life form.
It possessed its own body, its own battle instincts, and its own existence.
Most importantly, it possessed an immortal body capable of regenerating as long as even a fragment of willpower remained within the souls of the warriors of the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe.
As long as their desire to fight remained—
The Emperor could return.
Cain exchanged a glance with the Emperor.
For a brief moment, it felt like looking into a mirror.
The same eyes.
The same smile.
The same overwhelming battle intent.
And yet, at the same time, the Emperor was completely different from him.
It was an individual.
A unique existence born from Cain’s will and the collective resolve of an entire universe.
Both smiled.
Then they simultaneously turned toward the Incarnation of the Samsara Lord.
Their smiles became ferocious.
Without saying another word, the Scarlet King and the Emperor of Conquest vanished simultaneously.
The Incarnation of the Samsara Lord immediately raised its shield.
"BOOM!"
Cain appeared on its left, Tyranus Gungnir sweeping toward its ribs, while the Emperor of Conquest materialized on its right, his chained claw descending toward its head.
The Incarnation reacted instantly.
The shield blocked Cain’s halberd while the Myriad Sword intercepted the Emperor’s claw.
"CLANG!"
The collision sent a shockwave through the void, but before the Incarnation could counterattack, Cain twisted Tyranus Gungnir around the edge of the shield.
The Emperor understood his intention without needing a word.
The chains covering its arm suddenly shot forward, wrapping around the Incarnation’s shield.
With a violent pull, the Emperor dragged it sideways.
The defense opened.
Cain’s eyes flashed.
"SHRRRK!"
Tyranus Gungnir tore across the Incarnation’s abdomen, leaving behind a deep wound covered in dark scarlet flames.
The Incarnation immediately retaliated, thrusting the Myriad Sword toward Cain’s chest.
Cain stepped backward.
At the exact same moment, the Emperor stepped forward.
The sword pierced through the Emperor’s torso instead.
But the Emperor did not even flinch.
Its hand seized the blade.
Scarlet chains surged around its arm, binding the Myriad Sword for a fraction of a second.
That was enough.
Cain appeared above them.
Tyranus Gungnir descended.
"BOOOOOOM!"
The halberd smashed into the Incarnation’s shoulder, forcing its body downward and causing another massive wound to erupt across its back.
The Incarnation attempted to retreat.
It could not.
The Emperor’s chains had already wrapped around one of its legs.
Cain’s golden Eye of Flow illuminated the battlefield, calculating every possible movement before it happened. At the same time, the Emperor acted upon Cain’s intentions almost instinctively.
They did not need communication.
They moved as one.
Cain attacked wherever the Emperor created an opening.
The Emperor attacked wherever Cain forced the Incarnation to defend.
Every movement flowed naturally into the next.
The Incarnation raised its shield to block another halberd strike.
Cain immediately changed the angle of his attack.
The blade slid around the shield.
The Emperor struck from behind.
"BOOM!"
Its chained fist slammed into the Incarnation’s back, sending it staggering forward.
Cain’s halberd followed.
"SHRRRK!"
The blade pierced through its thigh.
The Incarnation managed to break free, unleashing a violent burst of Samsara Force that forced both attackers backward.
Yet before it could recover, the Emperor was already there.
A chained claw tore through its chest.
Dark scarlet flames spread across the wound.
The Incarnation swung the Myriad Sword toward the abomination.
Cain intercepted it.
"CLANG!"
The halberd and sword collided.
Cain twisted his weapon, redirecting the sword with the Flow.
The Emperor took advantage of the opening and drove its knee into the Incarnation’s abdomen.
"BOOM!"
The impact bent its body backward.
Cain immediately followed with a horizontal slash.
Tyranus Gungnir carved across the Incarnation’s chest, leaving behind a massive wound that refused to heal.
The Incarnation was being pushed backward.
Blood flowed from multiple wounds across its body.
Its shoulder was damaged.
Its abdomen had been torn open.
Its thigh was pierced.
Its chest was burning with scarlet flames.
Even its Samsara Force was struggling to suppress the corrosive power contained within Cain’s halberd.
Yet the Incarnation still refused to fall.
Its sword and shield rose once more.
The Emperor stood beside Cain.
Both stared forward.
The Scarlet King smiled.
The Emperor smiled with him.
Then they disappeared again.
The Incarnation’s battle instinct screamed.
From every direction, attacks descended.
Halberd.
Claws.
Chains.
Scarlet flames.
The void exploded repeatedly as the three Fourth Realm beings clashed.
And with every exchange, the Incarnation accumulated more wounds.
The battle that had once been evenly matched was beginning to tilt.
Cain and the Emperor of Conquest had found their rhythm.
