My Wife Is A Ghost Exorciser Chapter 1463: Epilogue (2)

Previously on My Wife Is A Ghost Exorciser...
Three weeks after Duan He's death, Song Yan prepares to revive Ji Ziyi alongside two newborn girls, whose tragic circumstances have left their family desperate. As she conducts a complex ritual in the hospital ward, the Ji family watches anxiously outside, hoping for success. Amidst the tension, Song Yan completes the ceremony, successfully bringing Ji Ziyi back to life. Gratitude flows from the Ji family, while Song Yan discovers she is unexpectedly pregnant, complicating her life further as she grapples with the implications of this news. Meanwhile, an encounter with a girl named Fang Yanli hints at deeper connections yet to be explored.

As she departed, Fang Yanli halted, glancing back toward the woman who was her friend, her master, and her elder sister. Tears welled in her eyes at the painful realization—Song Yan might never recall their bond again.

"Does it hurt that much?" Little An asked, having trailed behind her. His twin brother also turned his gaze toward Fang Yanli.

"I miss her," Fang Yanli confessed with total honesty. "The ache of her looking at me like a complete stranger is almost unbearable."

Still—Fang Yanli did not lose hope. She was certain that one day, she would earn Song Yan’s friendship once more.

But for the time being,

"I already informed you of her pregnancy... why must you be so—"

The sound of a man’s voice reached her, causing Fang Yanli’s expression to turn frigid. "Let’s move. We have some trash to dispose of first."

Six years later.

"Ahhhh!!!!"

"Yu Sheng, I’m going to kill you!"

"I am seriously going to end you!"

Fu Yu Sheng bolted upright, mirrored by Fu Chen and his five younger brothers. That was correct—five.

When Song Yan had conceived for the second time six years ago, Fu Yu Sheng was ecstatic. He truly believed his wish for a daughter was finally being granted.

However, after the full nine months, his wife delivered two more smelly boys.

He hadn't complained then. He figured they could simply try one more time.

But his wife had put a stop to it. She insisted on prioritizing her career, and she certainly succeeded, claiming the best actress trophy for five years in a row.

Despite returning to the screen after childbirth, Song Yan continued to captivate the public. Even as she aged, she maintained the youthful appearance of a sixteen-year-old girl.

Oh, the silent struggles of a pitiable husband! No one truly understood his plight!

Once Song Yan felt established in her career, they made another attempt for a daughter. Instead, they were blessed with three more smelly sons!

At that point, Fu Yu Sheng felt as though he were being haunted by these boys!

Now that his wife was in labor once again, he prayed desperately for a girl.

"Sister-in-law sounds like she's in a lot of pain; it's probably another rowdy brat," Fu Yu Shen remarked to his brother while supporting Ning Ying, who was currently three months pregnant.

His reward for the comment was a shoe flying directly into his face.

"Don't you dare jinx this!" Fu Yu Sheng bellowed at his brother before turning his anxious gaze back toward the delivery room.

"Just admit you lack the skill to produce a charming daughter," Fu Shu Chang teased, cradling his own newborn daughter. Lin Wenyi looked at him with sheer exasperation.

She swatted his arm, telling him, "That's enough."

"Yes, stop it," Fu Yu Sheng echoed his sister-in-law, his nerves frayed to the breaking point. He was positive that if his brother poked fun at him once more, a life-and-death struggle would ensue.

Fu Shu Chang chuckled, pulling his two daughters closer. He told them, "Look at your uncle; he’s just green with envy because I have you two."

"Shu Chang!"

Old Master Fu fixed his eldest grandson with a stern glare. "Be quiet," he commanded.

Though the Old Master’s physical strength had waned over the years, his aura remained formidable, causing Fu Shu Chang to fall silent instantly.

"This isn't a joke, eldest uncle," the second son, Fu Lijuan, interjected crossly. "I already have five smelly brothers. If another one shows up, I’m moving out!"

"You're only six," Fu Chen, now fifteen, noted while looking at his brother. "Where exactly do you plan to go?"

"Anywhere is better than this house," the third son, Fu Fengge, grumbled.

"Agreed," the triplets chimed in unison.

Fu Yu Sheng glared at the six boys. "You think I enjoy being here? I spend every day cleaning up after your messes!"

"Especially you, Jianyu. You’re only three, yet you’ve already mastered the art of bullying your peers!"

He was referring to the incident where Fu Jianyu had given Wang Yufan’s son a thrashing.

"He isn't my friend! He mocked me because I don't have a sister while he has two!"

Fu Zian and Fu Xiaofan stood by their older brother. "Exactly! He deserved that beating!"

"You—"

The sudden wail of a newborn cut Fu Yu Sheng off. He scrambled to his feet and sprinted into the delivery room.

"Yan Yan!"

"Yu Sheng," Song Yan answered weakly. She lay on the bed, drenched in sweat and tears, yet in Fu Yu Sheng’s eyes, she had never looked more radiant.

He rushed to her side first, asking, "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine," Song Yan whispered, smiling down at the two infants she had just delivered.

They were wrapped snugly in blankets. With their flushed, red faces, Fu Yu Sheng couldn't immediately tell if a daughter was among them.

"You—"

"It's a son—"

"Another boy!"

"I'm going to cry!"

"Why can't I just have a sister?"

"This is too much! I'll be old and gray by the time a sister finally arrives!"

"I wanted a sister! Why, God, why!"

Song Yan watched her overly dramatic sons before glancing at Fu Yu Sheng, who was already tearing up himself.

"...." She was momentarily speechless.

"And a daughter... seriously, let me finish," Song Yan raised her voice, gesturing to the infant on the left. "She is your little sister." The moment the words left her mouth, her sons swarmed around the baby girl.

"A daughter! I finally have a daughter!" Fu Yu Sheng stood dazed for two minutes before pulling Song Yan into a hug. His devotion remained deep, so he was careful with his strength and released her quickly.

"Thank you, Yan Yan! Thank you so much!"

"No, I should be thanking you," Song Yan said, reaching out to clasp his hand. "Thank you for following me through different dimensions and across time."

Fu Yu Sheng smiled at her words. Leaning in, he pressed a kiss to her lips. "I love you."

"I love you too." In every lifetime.

Fin.
