My Talent's Name Is Generator Chapter 1261: Preparation
Previously on My Talent's Name Is Generator...
After traveling through the void for some time, I finally arrived at Rumble Valley.
Despite its name, there was no actual valley in the ordinary sense. Rumble Valley was simply a region within the ancient battlefield that had earned its name from a terrifying natural phenomenon.
Thunderous sounds continuously erupted throughout the void, one after another, without any lightning accompanying them. Each rumble was so loud that it could rival the explosion of a star, and the sound waves spread through the surrounding darkness, causing the debris floating across the region to tremble constantly.
I slowed down and allowed my perception to spread across the entire region.
Three enormous pieces of celestial debris floated through the darkness, all that remained of planets and moons destroyed during ancient battles. One fragment was particularly massive, its size large enough to rival Vaythos itself.
Its surface was covered in enormous cracks and deep scars, while pieces of mountains and broken landmasses floated around it, held together by the strange remnants of the forces that had once destroyed the planet.
The other two fragments were smaller, but they were no less impressive. One appeared to be the remains of a massive moon, its surface completely shattered, while the other was a portion of a destroyed planet that had been split into countless pieces before somehow remaining together in the void.
The constant thunder continued around them.
Boom.
Another deafening rumble rolled through the darkness.
I remained still for a moment, carefully examining the entire region with my perception. I could not sense Sovereign Eternal Time yet, but that did not mean he was not already nearby. With his mastery of Time, hiding his presence would be far easier than it would be for an ordinary Demi-God.
I narrowed my eyes.
“I should prepare first.”
I had already dealt with several Demi-Gods, but Eternal Time was different. He was a Middle Demi-God, just like I was now, and his Time Origin was likely far more developed than mine had been when I first reached this realm. Underestimating him simply because I had defeated several opponents recently would be foolish.
I found a quiet region of the void and sat down cross-legged.
Then I began preparing.
Deep Golden Soul Force slowly emerged from my body.
One rune appeared.
Then another.
Then hundreds.
Thousands.
The runes continued multiplying around me until the surrounding void was filled with countless golden symbols, each one no larger than an atom. They were not ordinary runes created through external energy. Every single one had been formed directly from my Soul Force, and each carried the resonance of one of the Origins I had comprehended.
I began with the four fundamental elements.
Fire, Water, Earth, Wind.
The runes of these four Origins continued forming around me until nearly a million tiny golden runes filled the surrounding void. Each rune carried a faint fluctuation of its corresponding Origin, and together they formed an enormous network that constantly shifted around my body.
My Soul Force began depleting rapidly.
I ignored it and continued.
The next wave of runes appeared.
Space, Time.
Another million or so runes gradually filled the void, overlapping with the elemental runes and forming increasingly complicated patterns. Space runes constantly shifted position, while Time runes moved in strange cycles that seemed to repeat and reverse simultaneously.
The consumption of Soul Force became even more intense.
My Divine Core continued supplying energy, but even with my current strength, maintaining so many Origin-infused runes at the same time was extremely demanding.
I did not stop.
Finally, I began creating the last set.
Polarity.
The golden runes appeared one after another, carrying the strange resonance of opposing forces and balance. Once enough had formed, I raised my hand.
The millions upon millions of tiny runes surrounding me suddenly began moving. They flowed through the void like a vast golden current.
With a simple wave of my hand, all of them merged into the surrounding Space. The runes disappeared.
To anyone observing from a distance, it would appear as though nothing had happened at all.
But I could feel the formation hidden within the void.
Every rune had its own position. And together, they formed something I had been experimenting with for some time. A formation designed specifically for an unforeseen situation.
I slowly exhaled and looked across the silent battlefield.
“This should be enough preparation.”
I did not know exactly how Eternal Time would fight. If something unexpected happened during the battle, I would already have another layer of preparation waiting for him.
With the formation settled into the surrounding void, I finally allowed myself to relax and began recovering the Soul Force I had consumed while creating it. The Deep Golden energy slowly circulated through my body and returned to its normal state, while I kept my perception spread across Rumble Valley in case Sovereign Eternal Time arrived earlier than expected.
At the same time, I reached through the connection I shared with my summons and directly contacted all of them. Their presence immediately appeared within my consciousness, and I could sense them still sitting within the Origin Expanse, each one continuing to comprehend the deeper principles of the Origins they had already awakened.
I sent them a simple message. “Focus on the Origin of Time.” I paused briefly before continuing, making sure they understood why I was asking this of them.
“I am about to fight someone who has already reached the Middle Demi-God realm and possesses the Time Origin. This is a good opportunity for all of us. Observe everything you can, understand how he uses Time, and send whatever comprehension you gain back through our connection. If we can understand his application of Time while I fight him, it will benefit all of us.”
The connection remained silent for a moment before their responses gradually returned, each of them acknowledging the command. I could feel their attention shifting toward Time, and the faint fluctuations of their Origins began changing as they focused their minds on the same principle.
I smiled slightly before withdrawing my consciousness from the connection and returning my full attention to Rumble Valley. My Soul Force had already recovered considerably, and the formation I had prepared remained hidden throughout the void.
Now there was nothing left to do except wait for Sovereign Eternal Time to arrive.
Creation is hard, cheer me up!
