The protagonist unleashed the power of Decay against Sovereign Millennium Blood, rapidly aging and disintegrating the transformed crocodile into dust. Only a palm-sized blood fragment remained of the formidable opponent.

I stepped forward. Space folded around me, and I appeared directly beside the fragment.

The black hole within my Divine Core opened. A powerful suction force erupted from within it, instantly enveloping the blood-colored fragment.

The fragment trembled violently.

Then it was pulled inside.

The Abyssal Extraction Authority immediately surrounded it, breaking apart the remaining Blood Origin and refining it into pure Origin fragments before absorbing them into my Divine Core.

I stood silently as the transformation completed.

Then I felt it. My Blood Origin began rising.

Twenty-seven percent, twenty-eight, twenty-nine.

Then it stopped at thirty percent.

I looked inward and felt the new resonance settling into my existence. A faint smile appeared on my face.

I slowly closed my eyes, allowing the newly absorbed comprehension to settle.

Before leaving, I waved my hand toward the place where Sovereign Millennium Blood had disappeared. His storage ring immediately flew through the void and landed in my palm.

I inspected it briefly before sending my perception inside. There were various resources stored within, but my attention quickly settled on the metallic compass. I pulled it out and examined it physically, turning it over several times and studying the strange rings covering its surface before finally allowing my perception to enter it.

It did not take long for me to discover its secret. Deep inside the compass was a hidden seal, and that seal was continuously resonating with another seal somewhere within the battlefield. I followed the connection through Space and quickly understood that it was linked to the dimensional entrance.

Without wasting any time, I flashed through the void and arrived near the enormous tear in Space through which Amun and I had originally entered the battlefield.

I remained there for a while, carefully observing the dimensional tear and the fluctuations surrounding it. Eventually, I noticed the hidden seal embedded within the structure of the entrance.

It was tightly connected to the tear itself, almost as though the seal was one of the things maintaining its existence. After studying it for some time, I realized that destroying the seal would not simply disable the compass’s connection.

It would also cause the dimensional tear to collapse, completely closing the entrance to the battlefield. I exhaled softly as I finally understood why Amun had never bothered taking care of these compasses.

If he destroyed the connection, he would also destroy the only stable entrance through which Demi-Gods could enter and leave this battlefield. There was no reason to risk that merely to prevent the Eternals from tracking the location.

With nothing else to gain from it, I crushed the compass in my hand, destroying the hidden seal and severing its connection, before turning around and heading back toward the black cube formation.

And there were still three Demi-Gods waiting inside Amun’s formation. I stopped a short distance from the enormous formation and floated quietly in the void, my hands resting behind my back as I waited.

Time passed.

The battlefield remained eerily quiet around me, with fragments of the destroyed galaxy drifting through the darkness while the oppressive energy left behind by countless Demi-God battles continued to fill the void. I kept my perception spread around the cube, patiently waiting for Amun to finish.

Eventually, the enormous black cube began to change.

Its surface started compressing inward.

At first the movement was slow, almost imperceptible, but it quickly accelerated. The gigantic structure that had been large enough to rival two giant planets began shrinking toward its center, its enormous body folding inward while the surrounding void trembled from the force of the compression. The entire formation eventually became smaller and smaller until the black cube disappeared completely.

A figure emerged from the empty space where it had been.

Amun.

He stepped into the void with a smile on his face.

The moment he saw me, that smile became even wider.

"I have never been so happy in a long time."

I chuckled.

"I can imagine."

Amun’s expression still carried the satisfaction of someone who had just solved a problem that had troubled him for a very long time, but I had no intention of wasting time celebrating.

"I think it is time we take care of the traitor before news of these six deaths reaches the others and they go into hiding."

Amun’s smile faded slightly as he understood what I meant.

"Yes. Definitely."

I looked toward him.

"I will go after Sovereign Eternal Time."

Amun nodded.

I then raised my hand.

A crimson summoning circle appeared beside me, and the familiar fluctuations of Darkness Origin immediately emerged from within it. A figure stepped out of the circle wearing a dark cloak, his presence carrying the cold and oppressive feeling of Darkness.

Sovereign Abyssal Darkness lowered his head toward me.

I looked at Amun.

"You can take him around for a stroll."

Amun gave me a strange look for a moment before nodding.

"I can do that."

He then became serious, his expression shifting as he thought about the situation for a few seconds.

"Instead of looking for Eternal Time yourself, go to Rumble Valley."

I listened.

"I will send a message to Eternal Time and tell him that I need him to go there as reinforcement. Once he receives the message, he will head toward Rumble Valley expecting to meet you there."

Amun’s eyes narrowed slightly.

"That will give you the battlefield you need. You can take care of him there, and I can make sure no one interferes."

I nodded.

It was simple enough.

"Understood."

I glanced once at Sovereign Abyssal Darkness before turning toward the distant void.

Rumble Valley.

I had never been there before, but from Amun’s description, it was one of the more dangerous regions of the battlefield, which made it a suitable place for what was coming next.

I did not hesitate.

Space rippled around my body. The void stretched before me, and my figure disappeared into it as I accelerated toward Rumble Valley.

Behind me, Amun remained with Darkness.

As I flew toward Rumble Valley, I knew the fight ahead was going to be difficult. Sovereign Eternal Time was already a Middle Demi-God, and on top of that, he possessed the Time Origin, making him far more dangerous than the opponents I had faced so far.

Still, there was another reason I was looking forward to this battle. If I could kill him and absorb his Time Origin, my own resonance with Time would increase significantly, bringing me another step closer to the threshold of a High Demi-God.

Even so, I could not shake the sense of urgency growing inside me. Amun was a High Demi-God, yet despite his confidence and the way he carried himself, I could feel something he rarely showed openly.

He was afraid of Theras. The realization had become much clearer after everything I had learned today. The Eternals did not simply have their own Demi-Gods; they had entire vassal universes under their control, and those universes possessed their own powerful Demi-Gods who could be called upon whenever necessary.

When I added those forces to the Eternals themselves, I was certain their total number of Demi-Gods was far greater than what we currently had fighting for the Prime Universe.

That meant something else as well.

Theras was not taking us seriously.

The thought made my expression turn slightly cold. If the Eternal Universe truly possessed such overwhelming numbers and had already conquered multiple universes, then the forces currently fighting us could not possibly represent everything they had.

There had to be far more strength hidden behind the war than we had seen so far. I intended to have a serious conversation with Amun about all of this after dealing with my next opponent. Before that, however, I needed to deal with Sovereign Eternal Time.
