Magic Lord Boris of the Covenant fought Magic Lord Duncan of the Black Tower. Boris initially had the upper hand in close combat, but Duncan used a surprise poison mist and a powerful "Drain" spell to incapacitate Boris. Meanwhile, Magic Lord Gaston effortlessly overwhelmed two other Magic Lords, Lars and Sergei, with his acid rain attack.

Bluebell Reach City

The Raven Aircraft reached Bluebell Reach City. I had arrived earlier than I thought. The journey took three hours.

I didn’t face any obstacles on the way. It was a smooth ride. Next, through the glass, I saw the sight of the beautiful city ahead.

I saw towering blue-colored buildings from up here. But there was also something important: there were guards deployed outside the gate.

They were a hundred in number. They were conducting inspections a hundred feet away from the main gate.

I didn’t know much about this city. I didn’t know whether it was connected to the Magic Tower or not.

Since Elder Dana didn’t want me to use my previous strategy, I was going to use my real identity this time. It had been some time since I had shown my face to the public.

I removed the mask and put it inside the system space.

Then I stopped the Raven Aircraft 500 meters away. I exited the aircraft and stored it inside the system space.

Then I looked at my uniform. The uniform would give away the signs of Appraiser Frank. Not many people would notice it, but there were people who kept tracking me. They might find out.

Swoosh!

So, I appeared inside the mansion next and went to my room. The members were in their rooms. The Zero Puppet was in the control room. I ordered the puppet to stay there.

There were two monsters who were in their bedroom asleep too. I might need to find monster food in the city.

I quickly changed my clothes. Now I was wearing the uniform of the Silver Tower. Then I fixed my hairdo as well.

No one could tell that I was Appraiser Frank now.

Swoosh!

Next, I appeared back outside. Then I looked toward the city ahead and started flying toward it.

A few seconds later,

I reached the city gate, but I didn’t enter the city. There was an airspace ban there. My senses were alerting me.

"System, check whether the airspace has restrictions or not," I asked the system in my mind.

[Ding! Powerful restrictions detected. They cover the watchtower as well. Forceful entry could hurt even a Magic Lord.]

I heard the system’s voice in my mind. My heart stirred.

On the other hand, the city guards on the ground were alerted. They didn’t expect someone to appear. But the City Guard Captain was an old man in his sixties.

He recognized the emblem of the Silver Tower. He broke out into a cold sweat the next second. He didn’t expect a Magic Tower Wizard to come here.

He immediately alerted the others. He also felt the oppression emanating from the person. He was a Supreme Wizard himself, but he felt threatened.

He understood that the young man was a Supreme Wizard, which also shocked him. If the person were a Magic Lord, the sense of crisis would have been even greater.

Thud!

I landed on the ground. The surrounding wizards backed away, including the city guards and the visitors.

There were queues behind me. Everyone wanted to enter the city. I saw everyone’s gaze on me, including the gazes of the hundred guards.

I ignored them and saw the old man near the main gate. He was a Supreme Wizard. He was dressed in a uniform similar to the guards.

Just as the city guards were about to say something-

"Welcome, Silver Tower Wizard, to our city," the old man said all of a sudden.

Gasp!

Exclamations of surprise rang out. The city guards and the people standing in the queues were in shock. The city guards who were about to say something stepped back.

Everyone was shocked and terrified.

I walked up to the old man. It was good that the old man had revealed my identity.

"I would like to enter the city to buy some things," I said to the old man.

Hearing that, the old man smiled and said, "It’s our pleasure to receive you, guest. Follow me."

After saying that, he opened the gate and stepped inside.

Seeing that, I followed behind him to enter the city.

My gaze then swept across the place. I saw many buildings. They were different in size and design.

I saw that the shops on both sides of the street were painted blue. The compound walls had designs of Bluebudd flowers.

The designs were beautiful. I stopped in my tracks to look at them. The old man was not surprised, and he didn’t disturb me.

But he thought it was necessary to inform the City Lord.

After taking a look at them, I decided to look for a hotel.

"Is there a good hotel?" I asked.

"Yes, there is a hotel by the name of Prime. It’s located near the City Lord’s office. Do you want to meet the City Lord?" the old man asked.

"No, I’m not going to stay here. I will leave after I’m done with my purchases. But if you want to inform him, you can do that," I replied.

Hearing that, the old man nodded his head. Then I told the old man that I would go alone. Next, I hailed a cab and told the driver to go to the Prime Hotel.

The old man watched the cab leave. He was a little nervous. A Silver Tower Wizard was here; it was no small matter. It was rare to see Magic Tower Wizards outside.

Coming across a Silver Tower Wizard was even rarer. He knew about the deteriorating situation in the surrounding cities.

The news about Darkmoon City had reached them as well. That was why the City Lord had dispatched nearly a hundred guards for inspection and protection.

Since the Silver Tower Wizard didn’t mind, he decided to share the news with the City Lord.

Meanwhile,

I was in the car enjoying the passing view. The driver was a middle-aged man. He had seen the scene of the City Guard Captain being respectful to me.

He couldn’t see through my strength, and he grew curious.

"Guest, where are you from?"

"I saw the City Guard Captain treating you with respect," he said.

Hearing that, I smiled and replied, "I’m from the Magic City. That’s why."

The driver was stunned. He then nodded his head and focused on driving. He didn’t expect his guest to be from that place.
