Fisher and Emhardt are teleported to the outskirts of Chittel City by Alicia, a young girl who leads them to her secluded wooden house. There, Alicia reveals that her "grandfather" Mr. Helsen, who adopted her and named her "Treasure" (a homophone for her name in Nali Language), is gone. She explains that her sleepwalking and strange dreams, where she is called "Base" by a "Corrupted Carrier," have worsened. This has led her to harm herself and others, including her grandfather, whom she believes is gone because of her. Alicia confesses that she is the "Treasure" Fisher seeks and offers herself to him, begging him to consume her and take what he needs.

"Wha... What?! Eat? What do you mean?"

Both Fisher and Emhardt were astonished at the same time. Emhardt was the first to lose control and blurted out in surprise, demanding an explanation.

Yet Alicia remained calm, as if there was a composure unmatched even by Emhardt hidden within her five or six-year-old body. She merely blinked and dragged out a box from the bed beside her. It was evident that the items inside the box were somewhat heavy, as she needed to exert all her strength to move it. As the box moved, it emitted a crisp jingling sound, and then with a "click", the lock of the box opened, revealing a complete set of knives.

"Big brother should understand that to truly unlock the value of the treasure, it must be absorbed. By eating me, big brother can absorb me to the fullest extent, and you can obtain what you desire. This is also what grandfather and I hope to see... Or do you have an easier way of absorbing me other than eating me whole?"

"You..." Emhardt opened his mouth, momentarily speechless in his anger, before finally taking a breath and loudly questioning, "What do you think our home Fisher is? Is he a monster like Erwin? This is cannibalism! Cannibalism! Do you know how disgusting it is to eat you? Even those shameless elf monsters wouldn’t do such a thing; they’d at least plant a tree and eat its fruits..."

Speaking for a while, Emhardt noticed Fisher remained silent, visibly shaken and pursing his lips which made him look somewhat unsure.

"Fisher... you... you won’t eat her, will you?"

Fisher simply looked at the small Alicia in front of him, remaining silent for a moment. Then he extended his hand to pat her head, making her comfortably close her eyes, like a little cat.

"You know, we actually met once before."

"Really? When... I just feel you seem familiar, but I don’t remember."

"Indeed... Now you possess what you once dreamed of: freedom. You should cherish it, Alicia. So even if you’re not Mr. Helsen’s granddaughter, I wouldn’t do such a thing. Moreover, your words are quite shocking; in your view, is eating people a normal thing? Or do you think I’m a terrifying monster who eats people?"

Alicia blinked, appearing to ponder something before blurting out,

"Yes, very scary, big brother."

"..." Fisher was slightly taken aback, pointing at himself, "Me?"

"Yes."

Alicia nodded innocently, while Emhardt couldn’t help but chuckle and bump his head,

"Hah, reflect upon yourself; even this little girl senses your scoundrel aura!"

But Alicia didn’t understand what "scoundrel" meant; she merely lowered her eyes, appearing somewhat hesitant. Fisher figured out what was going on in her little head and softly spoke,

"I know what I need to do with the treasure. I need to understand its nature, which means there might be another structural path here aside from consuming you. As for the ’Corrupted Carrier’ you were concerned about, I need to study the specifics more; you could have been targeted by something outside the Spirit Realm..."

The Chaos Completion Manual by Master Tao recorded this name; "Corrupted Carrier" should refer to the source of chaos within the Life Completion Manual. Coupled with the treasure’s role in the Life Completion Manual, Alicia being locked by chaos didn’t surprise him.

What surprised Fisher, however, was that the source of life chaos didn’t want Alicia and him to meet—this meant that the entity didn’t want Fisher to fully read the Completion Manual, causing chaos to bloom inside him.

Why is that?

Could it be the entity knows that he now has Azan Ross’s blessing, capable of isolating the entity’s influence while accommodating chaos?

This news is quite informed... But following this thought process, does it mean he can use Azan Ross’s blessing to be invisible before life chaos, making the entity unaware of his contact with Alicia and structuring the treasure’s trait in her?

He patted Alicia’s head again, remaining silent for a moment before asking,

"Alicia, after attending Mr. Helsen’s funeral, are you willing to leave with me?"

Alicia glanced around the cabin, hesitated little, and nodded in agreement. Her grandfather had already departed, her sister didn’t want her, and before Fisher arrived she had already resolved to rid herself of the control of the terrifying presence in her mind by being eaten by Fisher.

Now, leaving with him, if she would still harm him, he could always just eat her, right?

"Alright, though following me might be more tiring than before, I’ll do my best to take care of you."

Fisher smiled, but recalling today’s experience with Elizabeth’s presence, he couldn’t help but feel troubled. Now, beside Emhardt was another person, a little girl, and he didn’t know how to handle things with Elizabeth after tomorrow’s funeral...
