The Last Paragon in the Apocalypse Chapter 1692: Crossing the Three Elemental Sea

While Kaden was a bit worried about his new Elemental Spirits, the moment they began moving again, he was reminded of why they were Forbidden Elements.

They weren’t at any disadvantage as he had expected. In fact, they were much more domineering when they clashed with the inhabitants of the Three Elemental Sea.

Of course, part of the reason they were so domineering was that the Primordial Flame Spirits were leading them. Kaden didn’t even have to do much of the heavy lifting since, as they moved and killed, they only grew stronger.

Thanks to them, things progressed much faster, allowing Kaden to advance more quickly. Before long, they passed through the outer layer of the core region and soon entered the inner level of the western region.

They were still being attacked, but after surviving the core region, they weren’t about to be stopped by the inner region. So, two weeks after the awakening of his elements, they finally arrived at the shores of the western region.

Kaden left his Elemental Spirits outside and entered the Demon Bead to inform the rest of his people and General Nura’s cohort that they had arrived at the western shores.

He hadn’t entered the Demon Bead since he left three weeks ago, so he didn’t know what to expect. Of course, when he arrived and saw everyone living in harmony, he merely smiled.

He had expected General Nura and her people to make things difficult for his people, which would have given his elemental triplet wives a chance to put them down.

But it appeared things were much more harmonious, considering he found Pickle Berry fixing General Nura’s hair. After spending so much time with his mother, it appeared Pickle Berry had picked up a few things from her.

"Big Brother, have we arrived at the western shores?" Jane, who was spending time with Qilin, her benefactor, asked the moment she saw Kaden arrive inside the Demon Bead.

"Yes. We’ve just arrived, so once you ladies are done here, we should head out."

They nodded, and after thirty minutes, they were ready to leave.

Kaden brought them out to the western shore...

"Who are these children?" Gorbag, one of the warriors under General Nura, asked, looking at the twelve Elemental Spirits Kaden had awakened.

"Stupid, can’t you see they’re Elemental Spirits?" Auren knocked Gorbag on the head, correcting him. However, after managing to calm his own heartbeat, he was struck by a question that left all five of them dumbfounded.

"Are they all your Elemental Spirits?"

"Yes, every last one of them."

"Huh? But how do you have more than one Water Element?" Under normal circumstances, one was only supposed to have a single element for each affinity. So one could have a Water Element, a Flame Element, a Lightning Element, and so on.

But in Kaden’s case, he had three Water Elements, four Flame Elements, seven Ice Elements, and two Lightning Elements. That simply didn’t make any sense, and everyone except his own people was left unsure what to believe.

"I am not like everyone else, so don’t assume I will walk the same path as them," he smirked and turned to General Nura.

"I suppose this is where we go our separate ways."

"It appears so." She took a deep breath before adding, "Thank you for saving us. We are all grateful. As for our deal, I will uphold my end of the bargain. I do hope you will also do the same."

"Relax, young lady. I have already made my stance clear and even swore an oath on it. I will not raise my weapon against Arshan, but I do hope he comes after me. This way, I will have a tangible reason to end his existence."

Although many had betrayed him during the Blood Era, it appeared Arshan’s betrayal had struck him the deepest. So while he had long forgiven some of the people involved, forgiving Arshan wasn’t something he planned on doing anytime soon.

General Nura and her people sighed after hearing Kaden’s resolute words.

It appeared he truly had no intention of being on friendly terms with their leader. But that was still acceptable. At least they had secured a victory in the form of Kaden swearing an oath that he would not raise his weapon against Lord Arshan.

"In that case, see you guys around... or not."

Kaden turned to his people.

"Let’s go, guys."

Soon, they were gone, leaving General Nura and her team behind. After waiting for a few minutes, they all sighed in relief.

"I never knew meeting the Paragon would be this intense," Jaden said, looking in the direction Kaden and his teammates had gone.

"It appears whatever Lord Arshan did to him truly pained him. I wonder if he can ever forgive him," Auren also said, looking a bit saddened that the person he had heard so much about had no intention of becoming friends with the leader he served under.

"Let’s not get ahead of ourselves. But it is indeed a bit sad that the Paragon and Lord Arshan have such a rocky past. Regardless, we should be grateful we met him when we did. If not for him, we would have long since become a snack for an elder.

"So we should be grateful to him for saving us," General Nura said, and her teammates nodded.

"In that case, let’s go. It will be a couple of months before we return to Gaukin City."

They also left the scene and started heading southward, going around the Three Elemental Sea.

While they would brush shoulders with the Ant Desert, it wouldn’t be as dangerous as traversing its unwelcoming vastness, teeming with all kinds of ant-type beasts.

Kaden and his teammates would also be going around the Ant Desert. However, from the information they had received from General Nura, they would have to pass through the borders of the Bleeding Kingdom.

They didn’t get much information about what kind of beasts to expect in the Bleeding Kingdom, but they knew its inhabitants cultivated blood, making them savage by nature.

Kaden had prepared for them, but to be on the safe side, he let Jane keep the Star Map active, allowing them to traverse the less risky zones.

Of course, even if she wasn’t around, they wouldn’t have faced any danger during the first month of their journey. But in the second month, they began encountering such savages.

The first ones they met were humanoids drenched in the scent of blood, completely lost to their senses.

Their first instinct, the moment they saw Kaden and his team, was to attack. The funny part was that all of them were Demigods, so if they had retained their sanity, they wouldn’t have attacked a team that included Supremes and even Elemental Spirits capable of contending with Celestials.

This, of course, worked in Kaden’s favour since the moment he killed one of them, he absorbed an enormous amount of blood essence. This naturally meant that his incarnations walking the Blood Path would soon begin to experience growth.

But the danger lay in their mindlessness. If they were to be ambushed now, then regardless of how many Blood Savages they killed, more would keep coming until they overwhelmed Kaden and his team.

That was the true danger, and Kaden knew better than to let that happen. So they stuck to the outer parts of the border, brushing shoulders with the Ant Desert.

They had yet to encounter an Ant Beast, though.
