Klaus took a deep breath, pulling his dick out of Ember’s nether cave.
It had been a day full of love and sex, one that came from the distant past and waited for the right time to happen. Ember had waited a very long time to meet Klaus again, and now that she did, she made sure to have the best time of her life with him.
They both did.
One can say she was the aggressive one...
However, time and pleasure had to go hand in hand, so after a full day of sex, they had to stop.
Of course, the reason for stopping also had to do with the visitors Klaus was expecting at any moment. Ember had already informed him that the 4th and 5th Heavens Generals had asked for a meeting with him about a month ago.
They only asked because Klaus had promised Ember he would be coming to her planet after he left the Devil’s Maw. So they asked for her permission, and she granted it.
But whether Klaus would agree to meet with them depended solely on him. Luckily, Klaus wasn’t petty, so he accepted their proposal.
Now, Icon had informed him that the two generals would be entering Planet Nexarion in a few minutes, so he had to stop and get ready to meet them.
"If I had known their arrival would disrupt my happy time, I wouldn’t have accepted their proposal," Ember said with a pout, looking at Klaus, who was now standing, his dick gradually losing its hardness.
Having only recently taken the next step of no return, she wasn’t shy anymore.
"Relax. After I am done with them, we will spend more time together," Klaus replied and jumped back into the pool to clean himself first.
Ember seemed satisfied with his reply, so she also joined him in the pool.
A few minutes later, a spaceship entered Planet Nexarion carrying two people, each a force to be reckoned with. The woman was General Brenna, the Fifth Heavens General and one of the few who had survived the wars of the Primordial Era.
She had long, deep-blue hair, ocean-blue eyes, perfect bone structure, and an athletic physique that showed she had been refining her body through combat and diligent care for years.
As one of the few who had already reached the Pseudo-Primordial stage, she couldn’t be measured by any normal standard because of how much power she concealed.
But as someone who had lived since the Primordial Era, she had seen and fought her way out of countless harrowing and menacing situations, so she couldn’t be considered ordinary.
As for the 4th Heavens General, he had short silver hair, deep brown eyes, and an athletic build. Considering he wielded a spear, he was also swift on his feet.
Becoming the 4th Heavens General wasn’t simple, so holding that position alone showed the kind of power he commanded. Of course, General Castta wasn’t known for flashy moves, but he was known for facing the Paragon once, a very long time ago, and walking away alive.
Well, 90% of the people who went with him died, so walking away alive seemed like a very generous way to put it.
But he was one of the strong ones and, from the look of things, one of the reasonable ones too. Regardless, as the spaceship landed and the two of them stepped out, one could tell how tense they were.
A few seconds after they landed, some warriors went to meet them.
"Welcome to Planet Nexarion, Heavens Generals," one of them greeted, giving them a slight bow.
The Heavens Court may have lost its credibility recently, but the power commanded by the Heavens Legion wasn’t one to underestimate, so these warriors knew better than to act arrogantly before such dignified generals.
"My lady has asked us to bring you to where you will be meeting that person."
General Castta and General Brenna nodded and followed them.
It took them only a few minutes to arrive at the place where they would be meeting. It was a grand hall where Ember mostly held meetings with her subordinates.
They entered and were led to their seats.
Afterward, they were served drinks and asked to wait a few minutes while Ember and Klaus were informed.
A couple of minutes later, the door opened, and Klaus, alongside Ember, walked in. The moment they entered, General Brenna and General Castta rose to their feet.
Ember took charge and spoke, "Welcome to Planet Nexarion, General Castta and General Brenna. As I promised, the Paragon is here to meet you both."
Their gazes turned to Klaus, who, despite being only a Demigod among three Pseudo-Primordials, seemed rather calm as he walked with steady steps toward the chair opposite the two generals.
"Thank you for meeting with us, Lord Paragon," General Castta said just as Klaus reached his seat and sat down. Once he did, he gazed back at the two generals and, for a moment, said nothing.
Then, however, a smirk formed on his face. "You can drop the formalities, Castta. Nobody is watching you here."
Visibly, General Castta relaxed, a smile forming on his face to the shock of Ember and General Brenna.
They had clearly heard what Klaus said, and from General Castta’s reaction, it appeared the two were acquainted. Naturally, that was the last thing anyone expected.
A Heavens General and a Paragon being on friendly terms was basically unheard of, especially one who had once succeeded in killing a Paragon, or so the narratives claimed.
But their shock only deepened when General Castta spoke.
"Good to see you again, Big Brother. How have you been?"
Klaus smiled and replied, "As you can see, better than you, I suppose."
General Castta laughed, but before he could turn to General Brenna and reveal his relationship with Klaus, something else happened.
"I see you’ve finally decided to be responsible for once, Brenna," Klaus said.
Then, with a smirk, he added, "I recently told your brother to contact you and warn you not to cross me. Who would’ve thought you’d deliver yourself to me on a silver platter?"
General Brenna narrowed her eyes, and perhaps she wanted to deny ever knowing Klaus. However, he didn’t give her the chance.
"Before you deny ever knowing me, know that your little brother, Mark, and your big brother, Matthew, are still alive and well."
This time, the look on her face changed.
"Really... They’re alive?"
"Yes. You can see them later if you want, or wait for their names to appear in the rankings a couple of months from now, since they ventured into the Ancient Battlefield with some friends.
"And, oh, before you get too emotional, know that Mark is now in a relationship, so you’d better be respectful toward him. Otherwise, I’ll personally punish you, and this time, it will be very severe."
General Brenna’s body trembled as old memories resurfaced. She clearly remembered some things she would very much prefer to leave in the past. In fact, she wished they had never happened at all.
For a moment, the atmosphere in the room grew heavy, and everyone except Klaus tried to process what had just happened.
Clearly, this meeting, rather than being a serious one, had turned into a reunion of old friends from the most unlikely of backgrounds.
