Cang Ling suddenly looked toward the small path slowly winding beside the grand mansion.

After all, in the Deep Abyss, the entire land was surrounded by cold, dark water.

Scanning the misty shore, Cang Ling felt as though someone was lurking there, watching. But when he walked closer and saw nothing except tall grass swaying gently in the cold breeze, he shook his head and turned away, leaving the area.

A few moments after his footsteps faded, a tiny, adorable head slowly poked out from the surface of the dark water.

It was Yuze!

Yuze is looking like an exceptionally cute three-year-old child with a sparkling, translucent blue fish tail. He had big, shimmering eyes and soft cheeks that made him look like a little ocean fairy.

As Yuze watched the two adults storm off in completely opposite directions, his tiny body shuddered in fear.

What on earth are these adults fighting about?!

"Phew... thank goodness I hid myself in time!" Yuze whispered softly in his sweet, babyish voice, quickly patting his chest with his small, chubby hand in relief. "Otherwise, my poor face would have been fried into a crisp by their scary tempers!"

In truth, Yuze had swam all the way here to find Brother Ling. He wanted to ask Brother Ling when he could finally be allowed to leave this dark, gloomy place.

After all, Yuze knew that once he grew up and became strong enough, no one in the Deep Abyss would be able to stop him from going wherever he wanted!

Among all the terrifying people in the Deep Abyss, Brother Ling was at least very kind to him. He always treated Yuze with normal warmth and never yelled at him.

Yuze had hoped to talk to him nicely today, but he never expected that the moment he arrived, he would overhear such an explosive argument!

Countless worried questions had raced through his little fish brain, making him feel completely overwhelmed and sad.

In the end, Yuze had come to the conclusion that Yue Yue must have left together with her family.

After all, when he checked the area, her mother, her father, and all of her brothers were completely gone too. That meant the whole family had moved away together!

Thinking about it, tears welled up in Yuze’s big, sparkling eyes. He hadn’t even gotten the chance to say a proper goodbye to her!

And the worst part was that Yuze was so depressed because he had no idea where Yue Yue had moved or where her real home was located.

Splashing his shimmering blue tail in the dark water, the three-year-old mermaid cub pouted his lips, determination filling his cute little face.

He could only wait, eat well, and hope to grow big and strong as fast as possible!

Once he became powerful enough to leave the Deep Abyss for good, he would swim across every river and sea until he found his silly little Yue Yue again!

On the other hand, inside another bright room of the courtyard, little Fry... Lan Yue’s tiny orca son finally transformed into a human baby!

The moment the little orca cub shed his form and turned into a chubby human infant, the entire room erupted in sheer joy. Everyone crowded around the bed, laughing and cheering as they admired the cute new baby.

Lan Yue was beaming with pride. Excited, she immediately called for Su Qinglan to come over and see her newest son in human form!

When Su Qinglan received the news, she was delighted. "Fry transformed?" She immediately put down what she was doing and hurried toward Lan Yue’s house.

The moment she moved, all the little cubs scrambled up from the bed and rushed after her! Their tiny legs worked overtime as they tumbled over each other. They were all dying to see their giant orca brother!
