Mint uncovered unsettling details about a legacy left by the nefarious Nathalie as she navigated her newfound retirement, much to the disapproval of Benjamin, who wanted her to focus on her upcoming job. Meanwhile, Jonathan's tense meeting with Zoren revealed a breakthrough in his identity, marked by the gift of a birth certificate, while Zoren's unexpected presence stirred dread in William regarding Atlas's potential return. Confrontations about familial ties and hidden truths unfolded amongst the younger characters in the Prime Group, culminating in shocking revelations about identities and relationships that had long been concealed.

[Extra 11: Yugi]

“Hah!” A laugh escaped Yugi as he watched the live stream of Zoren declaring to the entire world exactly whose woman they should never dare to provoke.

A smirk played on his lips. “That ought to settle everything, I suppose.”

The relentless rumors surrounding Penny’s alleged infidelity had been spreading like wildfire, becoming a major nuisance. The press had been particularly aggressive today, but fortunately, Zoren’s intervention was perfectly timed.

“I should probably go check on them,” Yugi muttered, pushing himself up from his desk and exiting his office.

However, as he made his way toward Penny’s workspace, he spotted Patricia, Shawn, Teddy, and Hayley approaching him. The sheer intensity of their expressions caused him to instinctively recoil.

“Uh oh,” he whispered, sensing the trouble before even a single word was uttered by the upset quartet.

“Sir Yugi!” Hayley shouted, her gaze burning with a ferocity that reminded him of a furious Jessa. “Why was it kept a secret from us that Father is actually... him?!”

“It wasn’t my doing!” Yugi’s breath hitched in his throat. Driven by pure survival instinct, he spun around and bolted. “I was only trying to protect your careers!”

[Extra 12: The Lingering Questions]

“Hmm...”

“Hmmmm....”

Zoren shifted his gaze toward his wife, who was currently lost in thought while rubbing her chin. Along with Atlas, the couple was relaxing on the back patio to enjoy the crisp air. While Renny and Chunchun played nearby, Penny continued to hum with deep focus.

“What’s on your mind?” Zoren finally inquired, putting down the newspaper he had been reading.

Atlas remained silent but cast a glance at his sister. The basket containing his children rested on the table situated between them.

Smacking her lips, Penny looked at the two men. “Ugh. I’m just wondering—who exactly were that woman and child on Pierson Island?”

Zoren and Atlas fell silent, trading a meaningful look before facing Penny again.

“They just appeared out of nowhere and then vanished!” she pointed out. “Are they foes or friends? Is there a reason for us to be concerned?”

“Their status as allies or enemies is irrelevant,” Atlas stated tonelessly. “They will not cause you any trouble.”

Penny trusted Atlas implicitly when he spoke with such certainty. Nevertheless, her curiosity remained unsatisfied.

“If they belonged to the secret society, I am certain First Brother would have been informed immediately,” Zoren noted, receiving a nod of agreement from Atlas. “Since they haven't interfered with us, it is best not to dwell on it. Maintaining our usual caution is sufficient.”

“I concur with him,” Atlas added. “You might as well view them as a figment of your imagination. After all, no one else saw them but you.”

Penny’s brow furrowed. “Are you implying that I’ve lost my mind?”

Atlas merely shrugged in response. She let out a sigh and slumped back into her seat.

“Was it really just my imagination?” she questioned herself, though she remained convinced of what she saw. “Well, perhaps you’re right! There is no point in worrying when First Brother has already sacrificed so much to ensure our peace of mind!”

Zoren gave his wife a faint, approving nod and a small smile. However, his expression stiffened when he looked toward the infants in the baskets.

“First Brother, why are they always kept in those baskets?” he asked out of genuine bewilderment. “You really should provide them with a more ergonomic carrier.”

“The basket is their preference.”

“Did they actually tell you that?” Penny asked, only to be met with a frigid stare from her brother.

“It seems they lack normal speech. They only stutter, so I am in the process of recruiting a speech therapist. Inform me if you have a recommendation.”

Penny and Zoren: “...”

The pair stared at Atlas and then at the babies, who remained eerily silent in their respective baskets.

“Well...” Penny cleared her throat, leaning in closer to the table to look at the infants. A smile touched her lips as she watched them. “...I suppose they do seem to enjoy these baskets.”

“Mhm.” Zoren agreed. “They look quite at ease in there.”

The couple shared a long look after gazing at the babies. Their lips curled upward as they contemplated what their own future children would be like.

‘I hope they inherit her smile,’ Zoren thought, while Penny simultaneously hoped, ‘I hope they have his eyes.’

Meanwhile, Atlas maintained a flat expression, and the babies stared back at the couple with faces just as stoic as their father’s.

[Extra 13: We are]

From the hallway, Penny and Zoren peered through a narrow crack in the bathroom door. Their eyes were fixed on the sink, where a small white plastic strip lay.

Three years had passed since the fall of Nathalie, and it had been roughly two and a half years since they began their journey to conceive. Unfortunately, every test they took yielded heartbreaking results. They never imagined that starting a family could be such an arduous struggle.

Despite this, the couple refused to let despair or frustration break their spirits. They had each other to lean on.

“Should we look?” Penny whispered, glancing up at her husband.

Zoren looked down, noting the trace of apprehension in her gaze. “I’ll check it first.”

“Okay.” Penny nodded, stepping back from the doorway. “Just let me know the result. I’ll wait here with Blacky and Chunchun.”

Penny hurried over to play with Renny and Chunchun to keep herself occupied. Zoren watched her go, sighing softly; he knew this journey was weighing heavily on both of them. However, Penny had recently shown several promising signs of pregnancy.

“It’s alright,” he muttered to himself while stepping into the bathroom. ‘Regardless of the outcome, it’s fine.’

They were no strangers to negative results. At this stage, they were prepared to comfort one another and try yet again.

Standing before the counter, Zoren hesitated to look at the test. He took a stabilizing breath before finally picking it up and turning it over.

“...”

“Blacky and Chunchun are the very best~” Penny sang softly, swaying as she held Renny’s paw. Chunchun sat on her lap, wearing a characteristically blank expression.

Blacky: Do you think Mom is doing okay?

Chunchun: Does she look okay to you? She is clearly trying to distract herself. Just let her sing.

Penny kept up her song until she realized Zoren was taking an unusually long time. Turning around, she saw her husband standing motionless by the sink through the open bathroom door.

“Renren?” she called out, her eyebrows knitting together. He didn't respond. Penny set Chunchun down and walked toward him.

She paused at the threshold. “Renren, is everything alright...” Her voice trailed off when she saw tears falling onto Zoren’s hand. Her heart sank, and she bit her lip in sadness.

She assumed these were tears of failure. Zoren often blamed himself for their difficulties, fearing that the long-term medication he had taken during his recovery might have left his system somewhat compromised.

“It’s okay,” she said softly, stepping forward to wrap her arms around him from behind. “It’s okay, my love.”

Zoren gently unclasped her hands and turned to face her. Tears were streaming down his cheeks as he looked at her fragile smile. Then, his lips curved into a wide grin as he held out the pregnancy test for her to see.

“It’s positive,” he whispered, causing her eyes to widen.

“What?” Penny felt as though she had misheard him. But when she looked down at the test and saw the clear result, her face was flooded with shock.

PREGNANT.

She stared at the word for a long moment before gasping. She looked back at him, her eyes a whirlwind of disbelief and pure joy.

“We’re pregnant?” she asked. He nodded through his tears. “Oh, my god!”

Penny leaped into his arms, clinging to his neck. Her heart raced so fast she felt breathless.

“We’re... we’re actually pregnant!” she whispered, her vision blurring with tears. “Renren, we’re going to be parents.”

As the reality of those words hit her, her own tears began to flow freely.

Zoren held her tightly, pulling her into his chest. With a trembling voice, he choked out, “We are.”

Chunchun and Renny sat at the doorway, watching the couple weep and embrace. After a while, Penny and Zoren pulled apart to look at the test together again. They were beaming with happiness when they noticed their "first babies" watching them.

“Blacky! Chunchun!” she cried out, rushing over to hug them. “You’re going to have siblings soon!”

It had been three years of trying and a relentless emotional rollercoaster.

The difficulty of conceiving had often left them searching for answers. But nine months later, the reason for the delay became clear. Nine months later, Penny and Zoren were blessed with four beautiful angels who would brighten their world...

...and would serve as Zoren’s ultimate pride, having successfully fathered quadruplets all at once.
