Damon prepares to leave Earth for another planet to confront his bloodline counterparts. His family expresses worry, but he reassures them of his newfound strength. Before departing, Damon transfers his companions into his expanded soul space for their safety. He then uses a new skill, "Bloodline Sanctuary," to locate and open a portal to one of his weaker bloodline counterparts, preparing for a confrontation.

As soon as he felt solid ground, Damon instantly became alert. He had absolutely no idea what was waiting for him here, so he mentally prepared himself to go all out.

Blood energy surged outward from his body. A thick blood barrier instantly formed around him, swirling like a protective storm of crimson mist.

At the same time, his Primordial Senses erupted outward. Invisible waves of perception swept across the surrounding terrain, scanning the world for movement, energy fluctuations, or hidden presences.

The next second he was utterly dumbfounded.

Everything around him… was alive.

They were not powerful. They were not threatening. In fact, they were not even C ranks, but they were alive. Millions of tiny life signatures surrounded him from every direction.

In fact, he was standing right on top of some of them.

"Insects?" Damon muttered. Then the sensation finally registered. He was standing on something unmistakably squishy and slimy.

Damon's eyes snapped open as he looked down. "…You've got to be kidding me."

Slimes.

He was standing on slimes.

The entire area around him was covered in them. The land around him was actually a massive living carpet of small red slimes, each one barely larger than a fist. But there were so many of them. They wriggled and jiggled sluggishly beneath his feet, their soft bodies squishing against each other as far as the eye could see.

Hundreds.

Thousands.

No…

Millions.

Damon slowly lifted one foot and watched as a slime stretched like sticky jelly before snapping back into its round shape. "This planet is interesting..."

His blood barrier pulsed slightly as several curious slimes bumped against it, bouncing harmlessly away like soft red rubber balls.

Damon sighed. "So this is where my blood brother lives?" He glanced across the endless slime field stretching toward the distant mountains. "Well… at least I know what he's been farming."

To make sure he was really at the right place, Damon once again focussed on his bloodline and tried to get a connection. He kept it very superficial this time not wanting to alert anyone who was beyond this world. He was not sure it would work but almost immediately he was able to sense a few crimson threads.

Damon's eyes widened in shock. He only expected one or two or maybe ten but there were actually about fifty small threads all around him. This implied that there were atleast fifty beings on this planet who carried his bloodline.

"No way…" Damon blankly looked around. At first he had thought it was someone else but now the obvious stared at him in his face. It had to be these slimes! His blood brothers were actually these slimes?!

Damon slowly turned his head and looked down again.

A small red slime bumped lazily against his boot, wobbling slightly before settling back into its round shape. Another one slid across the ground and gently pressed against the blood barrier, its gelatinous body rippling harmlessly against the crimson shield.

His eye twitched. "You're telling me…" He pointed slowly at the slime. "This is my first opponent whom I was so stressed about?" He then lifted his head and let out a maniacal laugh. "Fuck ya! My luck is finally turning! Let's goooo!"

No longer waiting around, he activated his dao core and the next second, blood rain started pouring from the sky. If he was right he should be able to one shot these little slime balls and he was right. Except when one died, it disintegrated into ten others.

Not just that they also possessed only a small amount of blood. It was barely a smear. Damon's face twitched. At this rate, how was he going to find out which ones had the bloodline? He had a feeling that this was going to be a grind.

Unexpectedly, a system notification also flashed in front of him.

[Ding! You have killed a blood slime]

[Ding! You have gained experience points]

[Ding! You have learned a new skill Intestine Harden]

"Oh? These even give out experience points?" Damon smiled. It was not much for him. It did not even make any dent in his progress but he knew who would benefit from it. He reached his soul space and then summoned his castle outside.

A huge castle with towering walls rose from the slime field. The moment it appeared, the surrounding slimes began bouncing around it curiously, their gelatinous bodies wobbling as if they had discovered a strange new toy.

Damon grinned. "Weren't you guys complaining that I am always shutting you in? Come out and take a look. Go wild. Have as much fun as you want. This has to be the best experience grinding farm in the whole damn multiverse!"

Aurora, Kate, everyone stepped out one after the other. Damon's gaze landed on one figure after another. His entire family came out, half confused and half scared. But after a few seconds they relaxed and started hunting down the slimes confidently.

Meanwhile, Damon's blood avatar entered the soul space, into a smaller castle where some of his group were still hanging around, namely Lirae, Erin, Kaelthorn and other NPC type characters.

This had been a big question in Damon's mind ever since he figured out he could move things back and forth between the game and the real world. If he could move things easily, then what about the people? Could he really bring Lirae out or would she be able to accompany him only as long as the game world was open?

More importantly, what would happen if he forcibly brought her outside? Was there a possibility of something disasterous happening? Was there a chance that she would disappear forever?

These are things he had no answers to. In fact, he was reluctant to even put them in his soul space but that seemed to be working out fine so far.

Lirae and the others had remained stable inside the soul space ever since Damon had brought them there. They were not dissolving, glitching, or showing any strange instability that one might expect if a being tied to the game world was forced into a different reality.

Still, Damon wasn't careless enough to assume everything was safe.

That was exactly why he had not summoned them outside yet. But ultimately he had to do it. One way or the other.

Damon silently hoped for the best and summoned the first person outside. Naturally he had chosen a special person for this purpose and had brought them here under special circumstances.

Damon summoned this special person and waited. The next moment, a tall and handsome vampire appeared in front of him. "Bastard! I am Lord Norosse! I am a direct member of the main family! You cannot treat me like this!"

The tall vampire appeared the moment the summoning completed, his long crimson cloak fluttering dramatically as he staggered forward onto the slime-covered ground. His sharp aristocratic features twisted with fury the instant he saw Damon standing there.

Then he froze because the ground beneath his boots squished. He slowly looked down. A small red slime stretched beneath his foot like sticky jelly.

Norosse blinked. Another slime bounced against his leg. Then another. Within seconds a dozen tiny slimes were curiously wobbling around him, bumping into his boots and cloak.

Norosse's aristocratic expression cracked. "What… is this?
