Ron contemplates the true nature of the Paradox Dice, realizing it manipulates probabilities rather than granting wishes directly. It erased negative outcomes and introduced optimal variables like Eve, buying him time but not solving his core dilemma. Faced with choosing between Vinard and Cassandra, Ron resolves to forge a new path where he is indispensable to both. He then convenes a "family meeting" within his consciousness, where his bloodline entities offer conflicting advice: Nari urges escape to the Abyss for safety, while Aselia advises a more pragmatic approach, viewing the conflict between Vinard and Cassandra as a "commercial war" rather than a life-or-death struggle.

"Furthermore, Ron’s current value stems from being needed by both sides.

Killing him benefits neither party and would instead give the opponent a greater advantage."

Dragon Soul’s words reassured Nari somewhat, but she was still a bit unwilling:

"But what if that woman really goes mad? She doesn’t seem like a sensible person."

"Cassandra is radical, but she is definitely not a madwoman."

Aselia shook the dragon’s head:

"Although her background is helped by the legacy of the Witch King’s ancestors, being able to emerge from internal strife means she must possess basic rationality and control."

"Her threat is more of a ’pressure tactic,’ aimed at making Ron choose as she expects."

"So the key is not who to choose, but how to make them both indispensable to you."

Dragon Shadow turned to Ron, the wisdom in its silver eyes glowing:

"Your biggest issue now is not being threatened by both sides, but being ’consumed’ by both sides."

"What do you mean?" Ron and Nari asked simultaneously.

"It’s quite simple." Aselia’s voice became more serious:

"The strategies you proposed to Vinard and Cassandra—’Conversion of Native God Concept’ and ’Peaceful Evolution’—are essentially top-level designs."

"You provided an unprecedented perspective, showing them new possibilities.

But at the same time, you exposed a fatal weakness: you are merely an ’idea provider.’"

This statement pierced Ron’s heart like a sword.

"Your ideas are like castles in the air, Ron." Aselia continued her incisive analysis:

"They are magnificent and astonishing, but lack a foundation.

Vinard appreciates your ’blueprints,’ while Cassandra wants to turn your ’blueprints’ into her ’new weapon.’

But in either case, once they grasp the construction method, you as the ’designer’ immediately lose value."

Nari’s tentacles waved angrily:

"These old monsters are exactly like that! Darling, you give them such good ideas, they learn them and then kick you away!"

"Nari has a point in that." Aselia agreed with Nari’s view for once:

"A wizard who only provides ideas is forever a high-level tool. The fate of tools is to be discarded once they lose their value."

This harsh reality analysis instilled a deep sense of crisis in Ron and made his thinking more clear.

"So, what should I do?"

"Become an irreplaceable entity." The two ancient ones almost simultaneously answered.

"You need to master the core technology behind those ideas."

Aselia’s voice grew resolute:

"Not only propose strategies but also become the only avenue to accomplish these strategies.

Make them understand that without you, those magnificent blueprints are merely idle paper talk."

"And fast!"

Nari added: "Seize the core technology before they completely understand your methods!"

With the reminders from the two "family members," Ron fully clarified his next strategic focus:

1. Short-term goals:

Navigating between Vinard and Cassandra, using information asymmetry to maintain his uniqueness and value, ensuring his own safety.

2. Medium-term goals:

Become the ’sole technical authority’ on the strategies he proposed.

Not only to propose ideas but also to master the core technology to realize these ideas, and ensure it’s of the kind others cannot replicate.

He needs a foundational technology applicable to both ’Peaceful Evolution’ and ’Concept Conversion.’

3. Long-term goals: Power is fundamental.

While mastering core technology, must quickly break through to the Dark Sun Level to possess genuine authority.

Only by reaching the Dark Sun Level can one maintain independence in the high-level games among Great Wizards.

"Thank you both." Ron expressed gratitude to his two "family members" in his consciousness:

"Your reminders helped me avoid a huge strategic mistake."

"This is what a mother should do." Nari’s voice returned to its tender tone:

"Protect my darling, don’t let him be bullied by those bad people."

"Actually, even without our reminder, you should be able to figure it out over time."

Aselia also offered her advice:

"In this world, ideas are cheap, technology is precious, and truly priceless is ’irreplaceability.’"

.........

Returning to reality, Ron slowly opened his eyes.

The night had deepened, and the three stars had sunk below the horizon, only the light from the Crystal Tree shimmering in the darkness.

But his heart was clearer than ever.

He needed an answer, an answer about ’how to maximize his own interests in the cracks.’

And the best way to seek this answer is through divination.

After all, apart from predicting future omens, divination is essentially a quest within the heart.

Ron took out the Divination Cards, shuffling them carefully under the Magic Crystal Lamp.

With each shuffle, he infused his intent:

How to find his optimal position in the battle between Vinard and Cassandra?

How to turn the current crisis into an opportunity to control the situation?

How to transform from a passive choicemaker to an active rule-maker?

Once the deck was thoroughly shuffled, he began to draw cards.

This time he chose the ’Triangular Balance’ arrangement, a divination method specifically for analyzing games.

The first card represents Vinard’s essence and needs.
