Wizard: Unlimited Profession Slots Chapter 1260 - 507: Gentle Training Method

The next morning, in the training room of the Abyssal Observation Station.
When Ron pushed open the heavy Void Stone door, Professor Yutel was already waiting for him at the console.
However, unlike usual, the old professor had a rather playful smile on his face.
"Good morning, Professor."
Ron greeted him politely, but somehow felt the professor’s gaze on him was... peculiar?
"Good morning, our ’Element Soup Master’."
Yutel deliberately elongated his tone.
"Element Soup Master?"
Ron blinked, sensing an ominous feeling.
"Don’t pretend you don’t know."
Professor Yutel turned around, holding a stack of what looked like very official documents:
"As the deputy director of the observation station, I have the duty to review all abnormal procurement requests."
He cleared his throat and began reading seriously:
"’Three Scorching Mushrooms, unit price 0.3 Magic Stones, subtotal 0.9 Magic Stones’—this price could buy a small Magical Beast in the main world."
"’Seven mountain wild mint leaves, unit price 0.2 Magic Stones per leaf, subtotal 1.4 Magic Stones’—these mint leaves are more expensive than gold."
"’A bundle of deep-sea kelp, unit price 1.2 Magic Stones’—I’ve seen Wizard’s Robes cheaper than this."
"’One Stone Carrot, unit price 1.5 Magic Stones’—for one carrot, you could buy half a set of basic Alchemy Equipment."
Ron’s face gradually turned red, feeling like he was publicly humiliated.
But Professor Yutel was clearly not finished:
"Then, the kitchen usage records show that yesterday afternoon from two to four-thirty, the special kitchen numbered A7 had the following events:
"’Abnormal Steam Alarm’ triggered three times, ’Elemental Disorder Alarm’ triggered five times, ’Overheat Alarm’ triggered seven times, and once, ’Unknown Meteorological Phenomenon Alarm’."
"Finally, the cleaning service department reported needing to replace a set of kitchen knives, repaint the walls, and conduct deep odor removal treatment."
At this point, Yutel couldn’t help but laugh:
"Kid, were you cooking, or conducting some sort of hazardous elemental experiment?"
Ron turned his head, somewhat embarrassed, scratching his face:
"Well, I was just trying out a new recipe..."
"A new recipe?"
Yutel’s eyes narrowed:
"Let me guess, the source of this recipe is quite special, right?
And its real purpose wasn’t for deliciousness, but for some... training effect?"
The old professor had obviously figured out the general situation.
"Alright, I admit it."
Ron helplessly spread his hands: "There were indeed some special objectives."
"Hahaha!" Yutel laughed heartily:
"Kid, you know, this reminds me of a famous joke."
"At the end of the Second Era, there was a young Wizard named Diaz who got a ’gourmet recipe’ from some mysterious channel."
"This recipe claimed it could ’greatly enhance the caster’s Elemental Affinity,’ but required nine rare ingredients, each worth a fortune."
Yutel’s tone became lively:
"Diaz spent all his wealth to buy these ingredients, and then... then he caused a small-scale disaster in the kitchen."
"He burned the precious Dragon Breath fruit into charcoal, blasted Star Mushrooms all over, and boiled Time Grass into a pot of green goo."
"In the end, this pot of soup worth a fortune looked like swamp water, smelled like sulfur, tasted like... cough, cough, it’s hard to describe."
Ron listened, dumbfounded: "And then?"
"Then? Then Diaz’s Elemental Control ability indeed greatly improved!"
Yutel laughed heartily:
"Not because of the soup’s effect, but because, during the process, he inadvertently conducted the most comprehensive Elemental Coordination Training!"
"This story later became a classic case at the Magic Potion College—sometimes failure is more educational than success."
Ron laughed and cried:
"Professor, are you comforting me or mocking me?"
"Of course, comforting!" Yutel winked:
"Because, at least, your soup didn’t blow a hole through the kitchen like Diaz did."
At this point, the old professor put away the teasing smile on his face:
"But speaking of cooking, do you know who the greatest chef in Wizard history is?"
"Who is it?" Ron asked curiously.
"The King of Absurdity, Saint Hector."
Yutel’s voice filled with reverence:
"This is a little-known historical secret.
This great one was not only a philosopher and poet but also the most skillful chef among Wizards."
"He once said a famous quote:
’Cooking is the art closest to creation—you transform chaotic ingredients into harmonious flavors. Isn’t this exactly what Wizards do?’"
Ron’s eyes lit up.
The cooking philosophy of the King of Absurdity! This perfectly validated the Element Soup recipe given to him by the Extraordinary Comprehensive Guide!
Yutel nodded with satisfaction:
"Seems like you get what I mean."
"True cooking, like Magic Construction, is not just a simple assembly of materials, but a deep understanding and clever use of elemental essence."
"Although you made quite a mess in the kitchen yesterday, from the result..."
The old professor walked toward the training equipment:
"Your Elemental Coordination ability has indeed shown significant improvement."
"So, I guess the recipe you got is quite extraordinary, right?"
Yutel glanced at him:
"Being able to perfectly combine cooking and training and yield such a significant effect... I fear only a few individuals among contemporary Wizards could design it."
"Moreover, judging by your reaction, the provider of this recipe likely has some connection with the King of Absurdity, or might just be Him."
