The Royal Military Academy's Impostor Owns a Dungeon [BL] Chapter 1369: The Last Transmission

Now, in stark contrast to the rather unpredictable situation brewing unbeknownst to most, things were anything but a mystery back in Imperial territory, where the collective rage of House Kyros was something practically everyone could feel.
Gone.
Just like that, the future of the proud Empire had disappeared!
But more than just the next generation of elites, sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, and other loved ones had vanished into thin air when the communication lines suddenly went dark.
It was a deeply traumatic experience, bringing back horrific scenes that people had long believed they would never have to experience again.
Yet there they were, collectively facing the crushing reality of being left behind.
And the worst part was just how quickly it had happened, in a manner so inexplicable that it chilled them to their very bones!
Members of House Kyros, alongside those operating from the dungeon space, had frantically attempted to reach the cadets as soon as they overheard the unusual comms traffic and the shocked reactions that followed.
Everyone capable of passing through the doors in the dungeon space immediately sprang to their feet, rushing toward the nearest relevant cabin doors.
They knew there would likely be massive consequences afterward. Perhaps the deep secrets they’d worked so hard to conceal would finally unravel because of their sudden movements.
But with their loved ones in danger, how could any of them possibly stay away?!
The only problem was that by the time they managed to port over from the military vessels bound for the mining planet, or rushed out of their temporary command center in Luca’s dungeon space, access to the cabins aboard the battleships on Caldris Minor-7 had already been abruptly disabled!
And that was before the panicked voices of the cadets and the frantic whirring of the systems were cut off entirely!
"!!!"
They couldn’t understand what had happened.
It was a harrowing moment as desperate parents pounded on doors that refused to open, leaving them helpless at the worst possible time.
And it was only then that they began to realize the terrible truth.
Because it wasn’t just the sentient biomechas and the cadets aboard the battleships who’d been caught up in whatever had happened!
Even the four who were supposed to be underground retrieving contaminated materials, far away from all the commotion, had actually disappeared first!
"...!"
No wonder they couldn’t access doors that didn’t belong to them!
Because Luca, who’d gone missing before anyone else, was no longer there to approve their movements or authorize the necessary CP expenditure!
__
Duke Leander’s body, forged through fire and war, turned bone-chillingly cold before he nearly exploded in absolute rage!
Heavy, suffocating pressure slammed down onto the steel deck, cracking the reinforced floor plating beneath his boots as he roared, demanding to know what had happened to his son and all those cadets who’d suddenly gone missing when they’d been right there only moments ago!
His jaw clenched so tightly that the veins along his neck bulged, his aura flaring like a localized star on the verge of detonation.
But right in the middle of his fearsome wrath, the Duchess placed a steady hand on his arm, her voice unnaturally calm yet piercing, a clear indication of her own particular brand of fury.
"Listen. Listen very carefully."
"...!"
But that was far easier said than done!
He couldn’t do it!
How could he possibly listen to anything when their boy was missing?!
Luca.
Their boy!
How could something like this have happened—
It was something those very same people had heard just moments ago, only now it was being replayed under entirely different circumstances.
At the unmistakable sound of his son’s voice, white-hot anger, bitter resentment, and extreme anxiety compressed into a tight, volatile ball inside his chest as he finally realized what his wife was telling him.
They weren’t at a dead end.
Not this time around.
And so, those whose children and loved ones had gone missing gathered in deathly silence, listening intently to the last intercepted conversations they could still replay:
The replay continued, the pirates’ screeching from that illegal terminal giving way to clearer voices.
The audio log cut off, switching directly to another recorded frequency from Battalion 10:
Then came the deafening static, followed by sheer terror and frantic screams over the comms!
But then, almost unnoticed amid the chaotic screaming of those aboard the battleship, the disbelieving voice of a little system could be heard through the very communication channels it had helped broadcast:
Like ghosts haunting the living, those exact same conversations, captured through different communication channels, continued playing over and over again inside the command room.
And by the sixth replay, when practically everyone present could’ve recited every single word in their sleep, the Emperor of Solaris finally stepped forward.
His eyes gleamed with lethal authority as he issued an absolute command.
"Evacuate the remaining cadets on Planet CM-7. Prepare to take apart comparable battleships. Find out exactly what that defunct sensor was attempting to detect."
He paused, his voice dropping an octave as his terrifying presence washed over the entire room.
"As for the rest of us... scour the Outer Rim. We’re going to find out where the children were taken. Wring them dry if necessary."
"...!"
The sheer intensity of the atmosphere within that single space was enough to make any observer’s skin crawl, as parents, friends, and staff alike seethed with palpable anger.
Even the ancient guardian beast couldn’t help but look up, watching as the figures scattered in furious haste.
It flicked its tail thoughtfully, wondering whether it ought to start making preparations of its own.
Especially since those two, who so very rarely acted in their personal capacity, were now making moves of their own alongside everyone else.
