Asmodeus captured two of the Nine Deadly Omens, using the bodies of their fallen comrades to corrupt them into undead warriors. Meanwhile, Kay used a unique skill and an interdimensional array to land a fatal blow on Azrael, the First Omen.

"Bullseye,"

Millions shouted, everyone cheering Kay on as he proved to everyone that 10km is not that vast a distance for his arrows. He can even kill his target from 100km away, or even 1000km away.

All he needed was to find the mark, and the rest would take care of itself.

Then again, if only they knew Kay was still being low-key.

He has gone by many titles in the past.

Some called him the Eagle Eye General. Others called him the Elf in the Wood. And his most prominent name was the Supreme Eye Archer.

When Klaus met him in the past, he had already recovered his memories of his second incarnation as Knox, the Divine Archer.

Because of those memories, he was able to recognise Kay’s deadly mastery of the bow, which, from what he knew, put him at the same level he was back when he dominated many battles, killing gods like they were bugs.

He knew if Kay got the chance, he could kill just about anything. Today, he has proven to everyone that he is that person. His legend had only just begun, and it began by killing a Pseudo-Primordial from 10km away.

That is some next-level shit.

"The Paragon really came this time with the best team, didn’t he?"

"That he sure did. I mean, having this guy, the Necromancer and the God Butcher on his team is already overkill."

Talk about the God Butcher, Gorr smiled, blocking the attack of the 4th Omen. He was pushed back, but before he could be ambushed, Mark arrived and unleashed a gust of wind, pushing her back.

It is sad, really, but Gorr had come close to killing her several times, but his sword had other plans.

Gorr gets his power from his sword, so to climb higher than the stage he is on, he had to listen to what his sword wanted and ensure that every time he kills, they yield the biggest reward possible.

According to the Necrosword, they stand to gain more when their opponent’s killing intent has reached its peak.

So while he could have killed his opponent a long time ago, he had held back and kept waiting, hoping to see what the Necrosword wanted.

Just now, that moment had come, and Gorr’s eyes were opened to see why the Necrosword wanted him to hold back his attacks.

On top of the 4th Omen’s head, a red rune dripping with malicious killing intent hovered...

’That is the peak of her killing intent. Now, killing her would be as simple as speaking two words.’

Gorr smiled and nodded, then he turned and looked at Mark, "The battle is coming to an end, so retreat and allow me to handle her."

Mark didn’t argue and moved back, distancing himself far enough to witness everything that was about to happen.

Seeing the pest that had kept her restricted and distracted gone, the 4th Omen turned all her fury on Gorr and attacked, sending all nine needles flying toward him.

Gorr smiled and waited for the needles to close in before he spoke the words.

"Absolute Death."

The 4th Omen froze, her needles coming to a halt. Then, just before she could wonder what had happened, the space around her split open, and she found herself standing inside a hall where, from the ceiling, heads of people and beasts hung on ropes.

"Welcome to the butcher shop, 4th Omen." Gorr hovered in the air, the Necrosword oozing dense killing intent.

The 4th Omen tried to attack; however, she noticed she had no energy in her body. In fact, she felt like she had returned to being a weak and useless mortal again.

"Wh-What did you do to me?"

"I didn’t do anything, dear. All of this is your doing..." Gorr replied, still standing at the same spot.

"What kind of nonsense are you spouting? I didn’t do anything. All of this had nothing to do with me."

Gorr laughed, "Maybe, but I know your killing intent brought you here, and since we are here, I am sorry, but your death has arrived."

The Necrosword hummed with energy, and at once, a silhouette of someone holding a large scythe appeared behind Gorr, causing the 4th Omen to freeze in her stance. Then she dropped to her knees and collapsed.

"That is not supposed to happen, right?" Gorr asked, and the Necrosword responded.

"Indeed. However, she has given up, which makes things easy for us."

Meanwhile, on the outside, Gorr walked closer to the 4th Omen, who was still frozen, and instead of severing her head, he stabbed her through the heart and then tossed her into Asmodeus’ Undead Space to be turned into an Undead Death Omen.

The plan had always been to get powerful beings for Asmodeus to make into his undead, and since these Nine Deadly Omens had brought themselves, then they might as well become part of the undead army.

Just as Gorr had killed the 4th Omen, a wave of chilling coldness came from his body. Then, visibly, a runic mark that had appeared on the 4th Omen’s forehead whenever she used her concept—Fated Death—appeared on his forehead.

"Hahahaha, finally, I, Gorr, the God Butcher, have become who I was always meant to be, an Agent of Death." He rested the Necrosword on his shoulder, and as if he knew where the cameras were, he smiled and said...

"Over the years, the people of this universe have suffered at the hands of the Foreign Race. Children lost their parents, and parents lost their children. Over and over again, many have died trying to protect what they love.

"It is heartbreaking and sad, but also necessary to ensure life as we know it is protected and safe. Years ago, I prayed to the gods to save my homeworld and my only daughter, but they failed me.

"So I declared all gods must die, and years later, I became the God Butcher.

"That ends here, for I have fulfilled my wish. However, now we have a race of idiots who just can’t take a hint. My daughter is alive thanks to the Paragon, and since this universe, which she calls her own, is threatened, I will once again make a declaration."

He took a deep breath and said, "I, Gorr, declare today that as long as I live, all enemies of this universe shall die."
