The Last Paragon in the Apocalypse Chapter 1753: A true Marksman

"Okay, guys, wrap things up."
Asmodeus commanded, and his 12 Pseudo-Primordials nodded. The next second, they formed ranks and activated a formation that immediately trapped the 8th and 9th Omens.
Chains came from the ground and bound them, restricting them instantly.
They tried to pull the chains apart, perhaps shatter them completely. However, no amount of force applied was enough to break free from the chains reinforced by the combined power of 12 Pseudo-Primordials.
They were done for, and after struggling for ten seconds, it became clear to them.
"Ah, well, this is where we end things."
Asmodeus extended his hand, and his bone staff materialised. He gave it a wave, and from the ground, a large gate rose. When it was fully out, a wave of darkness poured from within, causing real fear to crash down on the two Deadly Omens.
"You know, I planned to first kill you before turning you into my undead warriors. However, since we still have some time on our hands and we also have the entire Ancient Battlefield as our audience, I might as well give them a show they will never forget."
A grin formed on Asmodeus’s face.
Jamming the pointed end of his staff into the ground, two bodies that everyone recognised immediately were pulled out of the gate.
They were, of course, the bodies of Number Five and Three.
"You two are powerful warriors, but I want new versions of you that can easily defeat these current versions of you. So allow me to give you an upgrade.
"Undead Sovereign Domain," the two bodies were engulfed in flames, and soon they burned into wisps of smoke.
Waving his hand, he moved the smoke, sending it into the bodies of the two Omens, who, if they could cry, would be shedding tears by now.
Unfortunately for them, they had masks on, and as if the only thing they knew was to scream, the moment the smoke entered their foreheads, their screams filled the battlefield, sending chills down the spines of the rest of their friends.
The process had already begun, and in ten minutes, Asmodeus would be adding two more Pseudo-Primordials to his undead legion.
"The Nine Deadly Omens never stood a chance against the Paragon, regardless of how one sees it. Initially, I thought he would struggle, considering most of his teammates are Supremes.
"But looking at the necromancer now, I think I was worried over nothing," Gpako, the Everlasting Blade Master, said, seated in his throne-like chair, watching the live stream of the battle between the Paragon and the Nine Deadly Omens.
Eshun, the Scarlet Fan Maiden, who also happened to be his wife, nodded. "Looks like we have to reassess the Paragon’s power again since he has proven to be more than he appears to be."
"It appears so. Already, I can see the Foreign Race doing everything in their power to stop him. If we can capitalise on his win today, then maybe we will be able to push back the Foreign Race.
"I just hope nobody else tries to sabotage him while he is this close to ending the tyranny of the Nine Deadly Omens."
Many people shared their thoughts.
While in the past the Paragon was hated, in recent times he had managed to turn the narrative and, through his deeds, prove to everyone that he wasn’t the monster the Heavens Court painted him as.
He was on their side, and that had already been proven time and time again. Today, too, he was proving to them that they could trust him.
Still, there were those who wanted him dead, and so despite showing them he was on their side, they had already begun pulling strings from behind the scenes, hoping to end him before he became unstoppable.
Five minutes after Asmodeus was done with his battle, Kay finally found his mark from 10km away. The irony in that, Kay had found his mark.
Kay and Mark were friends, after all. Just like Danny and Daniel were friends before they met Klaus, they had also been on many missions before they met him.
In hindsight, Kay had spent the last 20 minutes using a unique skill of his to look for where, if his arrow struck, it would kill his opponent without fail.
It was a sure skill, one that took many factors into consideration. And since that was the case, it took some time to find his mark.
Just now, he did, and so he aimed his bow, making sure he tuned out all the noise around him.
Several battles were raging on, but with a unique skill, he tuned them all out, and soon, the only thing he could hear was the heartbeat of his target.
"Found your ass,"
A smile appeared on his face, then he pulled back the bowstring, and a thick arrow materialised on it.
The distance between them was 10km, but to Kay, that wasn’t a problem at all. Still, the billions watching had their doubts that he could land the arrow.
That was such a big distance between a marksman and his target. In fact, many started to bet on whether he could land the hit.
They knew that if this were a still target, Kay would have had a better chance. However, his target was moving, so he had to keep tracking him and calculate the best possible intersection to attack from before doing so.
Safe to say, he couldn’t do that easily.
But then a smile appeared on Kay’s lips, and everyone watching felt a chill run down their spines.
"Interdimensional Array Gateway,"
1km away from him, a pentagonal box appeared, a portal forming inside. 1km away from that one, another appeared, and more followed until there was one 1km away from the target.
"Now die,"
He released the arrow, which flew into the first portal. It vanished for a moment, and just before it came out of the last portal, the pentagon-shaped portals rearranged themselves.
Danny, who had blocked an attack, smiled, then vanished. In his place, an arrow lined with runes and with a very deadly tip appeared, and before Azrael could block it, it had already pierced his chest.
That was how the First Omen, Azrael, died...
...for now.
