The hivemind is conquering for me? Chapter 940: ’Fetch A Rug?’

"Woah, woah, woah, woah! Nuh-uh! You aren’t glossing over the fact that half of the house is destroyed and the two of you are seriously hurt. What the fuck happened here?" I asked, gesturing to, well, everywhere.
"What do you- Oh this?" She gestured back to, well, everywhere. "Serena and I were settling our differences the Hyllus way, weren’t we, sister?"
Turning to Serena, I watched as she spat out a mouthful of blood before taking a pose that pushed out her chest. "Absolutely. Valerica was being annoying. As the big sister I had to put her in her place. It’s all over now."
"Are you trying to start up again?" Valerica muttered out the corner of her mouth, prompting me to intervene.
"No one is starting anything. My goodness. Are you both going to be alright?" I asked as I walked over to Valerica to inspect her body with my hands to check what bones were broken.
As I crouched down, Valerica ran her hands through my hair and spoke softly. "I am fine. She might be the big sister, but I am stronger in every way. From body to the way my genes produce offspring. Absolutely perfect."
I decided not to comment on that. I was busy making sure her injuries were not going to impede her health, but I could feel the look the duo were giving each other.
Aside from the wound on her back, I knew Valerica would be fine. I then walked over to Serena and began doing the same.
"Apollo? What are you doing?" She asked as I began to rub my hands across her body.
Valerica rolled her eyes. "Oh stop your blushing, he is making sure you are safe, not ogling you. Just let him do his thing and don’t think with your dusty snatch for five minutes."
"Dusty? How dare you!"
"No! How dare you for-"
"ENOUGH!" I raised my voice and the room refused to make noise.
"I don’t know what the fight was about. You don’t need to tell me. I’m sure it was personal. But this bickering back and forth? It stops in my presence. I will not have my family fight around me. Do you both understand?"
"Yes Apollo."
"Yes, my Baby"
The duo said in unison while I resumed my examination of Serena in silence. Once I was done, I stood up and nodded. "Right. Both of you aren’t in need of urgent medical care. Serena, you do have some internal bleeding going on, but since I am going to give you both a massage before making you do your Psionic technique, you should be able to heal yourself by tomorrow.
Both Serena and Valerica became excited by the prospect of a massage. They both knew how good it felt to receive at this point and the benefits that came with it, so they followed me out of the room with zero hesitation.
There was some resistance from them when I said I wanted to do them both at the same time, but once I had them sitting down with my hands on their stomachs, there was no further resistance.
Thirty minutes later I suddenly heard, over the moans and exclamation, from the front of the house.
"Goodness, what has happened here?" I heard Hecate yell
"Apollo?" Janine followed up, her voice sounding frantic.
Turning to the two moaning matriarchs, I commanded. "Enough massage now. Get to doing your technique." I said and left the room.
Making my way to the front of the home, Hecate was floating above the ground, clearly not wanting to get blood on herself. Janine was looking around Frantically while Orchid and Sithrik were not phased in the slightest.
The moment I appeared all three looked in my direction. Noticing I was fine, Janine ran up to me and hugged me tightly.
"Thank the stars you are alright! What happened here?" She then squeezed tighter, making me smirk at her being cute.
"Serena and Valerica had a fight while we were all out. Apparently when sisters fight, things end up like this." I then gestured around me to, well, everything.
Hecate let out a soft laugh. "That is actually very true. I was here when Valerica was chosen to replace the head of the house over Serena. The fight that ensued... Lets just say this home has seen itself in a worse state. Though there is a bright side."
"Which is?" I asked, curiously.
"They have so much money, paying for this to be rebuilt is like going to the shop and buying a snack."
"Wow... I wish I was that rich." Janine muttered, still glued to me.
"You are." I said, my voice confusing her as it was said as a fact.
"I am?"
I nodded my head. "Of course. What’s mine is yours after all. We are mated now. So all my money is yours."
Janine suddenly began to blush at what I just said. "I- I Appreciate that Apollo... So know that what you just said goes both ways I might not have nearly as much as you do, but all my mercenary money and the money I made during my time with Sophia. That is yours as well as mine. Ok? Because I don’t want you thinking I am only with you for your money or anything like that. I love you because you are you. Not what you have to offer me."
I tutted before leaning down and giving Janine a short, yet sweet kiss. As I pulled away I looked into her eyes that were still collecting themselves and replied, "Of course I know that, darling. Don’t be silly. You are just with me because of my big cock right?"
"Fucking asshole!" Janine suddenly punched me in the shoulder while laughing. "We were having a moment!"
"I know, I couldn’t help myself. Though speaking of money. Hecate, can you do me a favour?" I asked.
"Of course. What can I do for you?"
"Is there any chance you could take me to my house at the college so I can get my money chip?"
"Apollo, I already have it." Orchid hastily cut in and reached into a small bag that I just realised she was holding. She then pulled out two communication crystals and handed them over to me. "I asked the floating one to take me to get it earlier when she was setting up your surprise-"
"Orchid!" Janine suddenly exclaimed.
"What?" Orchid asked before realising. "Oh, right. A surprise... I don’t keep things from Apollo. I forgot we aren’t supposed to tell him."
"So, what’s the surprise? It’s not a puppy is it?" I asked, prompting a big blue wall to suddenly appear in front of me and slam me to the floor. Before I could react, the wall, Sapphire, placed her paw on my chest and her maw directly into my face as she politely stated.
"Moo."
"Aww, is my chonk jealous of a new little-"
Sapphire pressed down harder, her massive claws squeezing into my flesh. She was ready to throw down.
"Alright. Alright, you win. No puppies. You know I was kidding."
Sapphire locked eyes with me for a moment before giving my face a good wet lick before poofing away.
I was about to get up before I felt pressure on my chest again. Lighter this time. Looking down, a small blue nope rope was making her way to me, carrying a small napkin in her mouth.
"Thanks Sithrik." I said as I sat upright, allowing her to wrap herself around my neck. As I wiped Sapphire slobber off my face.
"I knew the moment she emerged she was going to lick you. I thought I should get prepared."
I gave Sithrik a little chin scratch for her action before standing up again.
"Sorry about that, where were we? Did someone mention a surprise for me? At this point I know it is not, but if it is a puppy, do not bring it out."
Everyone suddenly turned to Hecate who rolled her eyes. "Fine. I was going to wait until dinner, but I suppose I can go and get her now. Give me a few minutes."
Hecate suddenly opened a wormhole and the moment she did I just blurted out. "Hecate, how is your research coming along with your wormholes? Have you made any stride on the time side of things yet?"
Hecate snapped her head towards me at my words, there was a hunger in her eyes, but she suppressed it. "Apollo... Maybe we can discuss this later? If I start discussing Psionics with you now, I will not be able to stop. We have much to catch up on after all."
"Ah... You are right. Sorry, my mind slipped. Outside of combat I haven’t seen much Psionics recently and well... Your Psionics are just breathtakingly beautiful."
...
Hecate refused to blush at the compliment. ’He is nineteen. Still a child. It is wrong to diddle children. You do not blush at their compliments, no matter how nice it is to hear them...’
...
"Thank you Apollo, I will be back shortly." She said and stepped through.
The moment she left I heard a voice speak up behind me.
"Is the fighting over? Do I need to fetch a rug?"
Turning around to address Hank, I opened my mouth to speak, but swiftly closed it as the ancient man was wearing what I can only describe as a juggernaut suit. How his frame was not falling over in that armour was beyond me.
"No Hank. No need for a rug. They stopped fighting a while ago. No one died." I commented, prompting Hank to nod his helmeted head.
"Good, good. That’s good to hear... Now can I request that one of you young-ens help me out of this crisis suit before I break my back? I would be very grateful."
