Previously on The Extra Who Shouldn't Exist...
Alex and his companions planned their raid on the temple to find and kill the Evil Spawn. Upon leaving their mansion, they encountered the fearful Scorpion Clan, who Alex had previously saved but also attacked. As they journeyed through the town towards the forest, the townspeople reacted with fear, revealing that the Scorpion Clan had been hoarding their food. Reaching the edge of the forest, they found the Lion and Dragon Clans already present, both radiating hostility towards Alex's group before entering a mysterious, thick fog. Camilla warned everyone that the fog preyed on their deepest fears and desires, causing anyone who succumbed to disappear forever. Alex, finding the situation amusing, stepped into the fog first, followed closely by Kaelith and the rest of the group after James urged them to stick close to Alex.
