Cain activates his Second Gear, overwhelming Nito with a relentless barrage of attacks. Despite Nito's powerful defenses, Cain manages to land critical blows. Meanwhile, Meylin pushes back the Storm of the Root. As Nito falters, Cain channels the power of the universe into his spear, unleashing the Spear of Destiny and impaling Nito, bringing their battle to a cataclysmic end.

For several seconds, no one moved. The warriors of the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe and the Tenth Empyrean World stop their battles and focus on the massive crater forged with the fall of the two leaders.

Just as they wondered what the outcome of such destruction would be, a purple beam erupted from the blast zone and shot into the distance.

Inside it was Nito’s bloody figure.

A hole had been carved through his chest so large that it nearly split his body in half. His aura was chaotic, the fissure on his forehead bled nonstop, and even the Samsara Eye seemed unable to immediately reverse the damage.

Shock and horror coursed through the hearts of the Curse Eaters as they understood instantly.

The battle was an absolute loss. Not only had they failed to prevent the expansion of the Ouroboros Stronghold’s domain, but their leader had suffered such horrible wounds that some could not help but wonder if he would be able to return to the battlefield at all.

Without hesitation, they burned their energy and began to retreat, knowing that if they delayed even a moment longer, the Alliance would turn this defeat into annihilation.

Meylin’s eyes narrowed as she sensed the shift on the battlefield. Gathering all the power of the Flame of Hope into Longinus, she unleashed a single slash that crossed the heavens and cut the Storm of the Root in half.

The two pieces of the abomination reunited in the distance, but the damage was severe enough to make its entire body convulse in agony as it followed the retreating Curse Eaters.

At that moment, radiant smiles appeared on the faces of the warriors of the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe.

Yet despite those emotions, a strange silence gradually spread among the warriors.

One by one, their gazes shifted toward the center of the devastation.

Toward the colossal crater where the final clash between Cain and Nito had taken place.

A figure slowly emerged from the ruins.

It was the Scarlet King.

The sight immediately caused the hearts of many warriors to tighten.

Blood flowed from countless wounds across his body. Deep cracks covered his flesh as though his entire frame had been forged from fragile crystal and was on the verge of shattering. The Wings of Chaos had disappeared, Tyranus Gungnir was nowhere to be seen, and the overwhelming aura that had dominated the battlefield moments ago had faded almost completely.

His face was pale.

His breathing was uneven.

Yet despite all of that, Cain’s back remained straight.

His eyes remained steady.

His will remained unbroken.

The battlefield watched in complete silence as the Scarlet King slowly raised his right arm toward the sky.

It was a simple gesture.

A declaration of victory.

Nothing more.

Yet the effect it produced was immediate.

The silence shattered.

Thousands of voices erupted simultaneously.

"SCARLET KING!"

"SCARLET KING!"

"SCARLET KING!"

The chants spread across the battlefield like thunder, growing louder and louder until they seemed capable of shaking the heavens themselves.

The warriors of the Alliance gazed at Cain with awe and reverence.

To them, he was more than a leader.

The man who had destroyed the Worlds of the Root.

The man who had slain Robuke.

The man who had conquered the Cult of Ouroboros.

And now, he was the man who had once again defeated Nito and forced the Curse Eaters to retreat.

At that moment, he looked less like a warrior and more like a living legend.

A streak of starlight descended from the sky.

Meylin appeared beside him.

Without hesitation, she reached out and took his hand.

To the countless warriors watching from afar, the scene appeared almost romantic. The Scarlet King and the True Depravita of Hope stood side by side amidst the cheers of millions, their figures illuminated by the fading light of battle.

However, the truth behind the gesture was far more practical.

The instant her hand touched his, Meylin felt the horrifying state of his body.

His muscles were torn apart.

His organs were barely functioning.

His soul had suffered catastrophic damage.

The Fourth Realm Asura Form had pushed him far beyond what his body had been designed to endure.

If not for the Samsara Immortal Constitution and the monstrous vitality of the Primordial Body, he would have collapsed long before the battle ended.

Without drawing attention to his condition, Meylin quietly channeled her power into him. Streams of purified psychic energy flowed through Cain’s body, stabilizing the worst of the damage and ensuring he could remain standing a little longer.

At the same time, her presence projected strength.

The warriors saw their two greatest champions standing together, and their confidence only grew stronger.

Cain glanced at her.

A faint smile appeared on his blood-covered face.

Then Cain turned toward the battlefield once more and kept his arm raised high as the final set of spires completed their work.

Massive formations activated simultaneously.

The earth trembled.

The sky glowed.

Countless streams of energy surged through the ley lines before converging into the Ouroboros Stronghold.

The domain of the stronghold expanded rapidly, swallowing enormous portions of the surrounding territory and firmly establishing the Alliance’s control over the region.

The sight caused another wave of cheers to erupt among the warriors once more.

The victory was complete.

Seeing this, Cain finally allowed himself to relax.

"Return to the stronghold," he commanded.

Although his voice was not particularly loud, it carried across the battlefield with absolute authority.

The armies immediately obeyed.

The wounded were gathered.

The formations were secured.

The warriors withdrew in perfect order while celebrations erupted throughout the expanding domain of the Ouroboros Stronghold.

Only once the battlefield had been abandoned and Cain was safely hidden within the heart of the stronghold did the truth finally reveal itself.

The moment he crossed the gates and was no longer visible to the armies, his body trembled violently.

The color drained from his face.

A mouthful of blood burst from his lips.

Then another.

And another.

Large quantities of dark blood splattered onto the ground as the damage he had suppressed throughout the battle finally erupted.
