Kael, driven mad by his injuries and instinct, attacked Rhazira, but she fought him off. She then noticed Riley Hale changing, sprouting black wings, and realized he was a dragon. Khan told Rhazira to stop fighting, but she refused, believing Kael was the key to saving Khan if Riley was indeed a dragon. Turning her attention to the unconscious Kael, Rhazira lunged at him.
