"Boom, boom, boom!"

Though I didn’t understand what was being said by the rock creatures as they ran around, I could sense that there were vibrations coming from all around me.

It was clear that they were scrambling because of this sudden explosion that I had just caused and they were doing all that they could to find the source of these explosions.

However, it didn’t matter since these were explosions that they couldn’t understand at all. These were special explosions that I had rigged that were certain to get their attention.

Though I did make sure that none of these explosions would have hurt anyone.

These were nothing more than fireworks that were just supposed to draw attention away from the positions that I wanted to go.

With everyone’s attention drawn by the fireworks, it was easy for me to slip through this city without anyone detecting me.

When I arrived at my destination, I couldn’t help finding it a bit funny while also feeling a bit frustrated. After all, the same thing was happening in this place as what happened last time when I faced another upper class rock creature.

From the movement that came from the aura, it was clear that they were trying to run away.

It didn’t seem like they cared at all about the ones that followed them, the only thing that they cared about was their own life.

But since I was able to follow their aura, it meant that I was able to easily identify where they were.

Once I identified where they were, it was easy for me to fire out swords that would lock in on their position. These were swords that were just too strong for anything that was here to stop.

Even if they were trying to move in a tricky way as if they were trying to hide themselves, it was easy for me to guide the swords to them.

So there was nothing that they could do as I dragged them out.

Seeing that I was the one that had done all of this, the high class rock creature glared at me as if it was filled with rage. At the same time, I could feel the vibrations that were coming from it.

It was clear that it was scolding me, just like the other high class rock creature from before.

All of them acted the same way, most likely because this was how they had developed from ruling over this society for so long. But it didn’t matter if they acted this way since it didn’t have any effect on me.

Seeing that I wasn’t backing down, the high class rock creature started looking around for other ways to escape.

But I didn’t waste any time and directly shot it down with my swords.

The only reason that I didn’t do this earlier was because I had been hoping that it would have some kind of new information for me. But it turned out that this rock creature just simply didn’t know anything more than the one from before.

Seeing them like this even made me think, "Is this all that they will amount to? Is it because the system was already set up, so they’ve slowly become more and more like this?"

When I thought about it, it really felt like this was the case.

If there was a system like this in place, the only result that would come of it was corruption. Not to mention that they were living in a place where there was no outside interference at all.

In this dungeon, it would eventually end with their own society collapsing because of their own greed.

But if that was the case, then the dungeon would just replicate it again.

So it was kind of ironic to think that this was a kind of society that could only exist in the dungeon where it could be revived again and again.

In the end, I said with a sigh, "I hope that there will be something that I can find."

With that, I continued moving forward with my plan.

Though I did make sure to pick up all of the loot that had dropped.

Time might be short, but it wasn’t as if it was short enough that I could just ignore free loot in front of me.

By the fifth one, I was already feeling tired.

If it wasn’t for the fact that there was loot and titles to gain from this, I would have already lost interest in these rock creatures.

I had thought that they would be dangerous, but it turned out that I had completely overestimated them.

They were a society that hadn’t faced threats in a long time, so they completely had their guards down. It didn’t matter what I did to them, they just simply didn’t have a way to deal with all of the attacks that I threw at them.

So in the end, I had no choice but to keep going with these assassinations.

I had given up all hope of finding anything that would give me more information about how their society came into being. After all, all of the upper class rock creatures were cut from the same cloth.

There wasn’t a single one of them that was different from the others.

"Alright, this is the last one."

Even though I could feel a few more auras in this place, I just couldn’t take it anymore.

This was the first time that I really gave up on trying to claim everything because it wasn’t worth the trouble.

I was completely caught off guard since I thought that this would end in a single strike like with the other high class rock creatures, but I wasn’t able to take them down in one blow this time.

But the strange thing about this case was that there was a familiar feeling coming from the high class rock creature.
