Even though all of its subordinates had been taken out, it didn’t seem like this upper class rock creature was planning on fighting.

During this entire time, it had been looking around as if it was trying to find a way to escape.

However, I had already expected this and had sent my swords to surround this area.

No matter where the upper class rock creature went, it wouldn’t be able to escape at all.

The only thing that it could do now was face me and try to fight its way out.

But even so, it didn’t seem like this upper class rock creature was planning on doing that.

After looking at me in silence for a bit, the upper class rock creature started letting out some vibrations. It was just that I didn’t have any idea what it was trying to say to me.

"Well, if you look at it closely, it isn’t as if it’s that hard to figure out what its trying to say."

The way that it gestured as it was sending out these vibrations and the way that it was posturing, it was clear that it was threatening me. It was trying to use its position to make me back down.

Though it wasn’t as if I cared about its position in this society to begin with.

In fact, the only reason that I was still watching it was because it was interesting how human its behaviour seemed. It really seemed like it didn’t matter how intelligence developed, the emotions that intelligent creatures experienced were very similar.

Still, I was on the clock and it wasn’t as if I could watch this rock creature forever.

That was why I suddenly sent out a few swords at the rock creature.

Even if this rock creature had this kind of personality, the power that it possessed wasn’t fake. That was why it was able to create several pillars around itself with just a single arm while raising the other arm to defend itself.

But that wasn’t anywhere close to being enough to stop my swords.

The swords just pierced right through all of the pillars that had been created by the rock creature and then pierced through its arm as well. There was just no resistance at all that came from this rock creature when the swords hit it.

There really wasn’t anything that the rock creature could do when the swords converged on its chest.

It was just that it didn’t collapse the moment that the swords penetrated through it.

This was clearly the right spot, but it didn’t seem like the rock creature was actually damaged because of this.

Though from the panic that it showed on its face, it should mean that it had been hit in its core. It was just that this hadn’t been enough to take it down.

"Does it have something else that it’s relying on?"

I knew that I had hit the core since I had seen fragments of the core come out of the wounds that I had inflicted on the rock creature. So I knew that I had shattered the core that it should have been relying on.

In the end, I didn’t have time to think about it as the rock creature did something desperate.

The entire body of the rock creature started to change shape until it took the shape of a drill. It seemed like it wanted to dig through the dirt to escape this place, that was just how bad it wanted to get out.

But it wasn’t as if I would allow that to happen.

With the Staff of Earth in hand, I tapped it on the ground.

When the drill tip of the rock creature hit the ground, it just wasn’t able to break through at all. No matter how hard it tried to drill into the ground, it was like it was trying to drill through steel with how it couldn’t do anything.

I couldn’t help knitting my brows as this was happening before narrowing my eyes to look at the rock creature.

"It seems weaker?" I wasn’t certain of this, but that was what my gut was telling me based on how hard it tried to drill against the ground.

So in the end, I took a risk by having the earth come up around the rock creature.

The rock creature came out of its drill form and tried to break free of the dirt surrounding it, but it wasn’t able to do so.

"It really is weaker compared to before."

Even now, I could sense the aura coming from this rock creature getting weaker and weaker.

"Was it the core that was destroyed? If it can still survive and is only getting weaker from a core being destroyed..."

I waited until the rock creature had been completely surrounded by the divine energy dirt before I started probing it. I used different needles created from the divine energy dirt to stab the rock creature from all directions.

Naturally it tried to resist this from inside of the dirt ball, but it was just too weak to do anything against the dirt ball.

After I probed it for a bit, I finally found what I was looking for.

It seemed like there was a second core in this rock creature.

It was a core that was smaller than the first one, but it was a second core regardless.

"So it was relying on this second core to survive. But since it has two cores that it draws on for energy, it would only be natural that it would become weaker after one of the cores is destroyed."

In fact, it was most likely that all of the members of the upper class had this second core.

It was very likely that it was this second core that was giving them the power to suppress the other members of their race.

"Their evolution really is strange...It’s almost as if someone is arranging everything for them."

It really seemed like this was some kind of experiment...
