It didn’t take long for a commotion to come from the inside of the manor.

When they were being attacked like this, it was only natural that they would start scrambling.

There were those that recognized that this attack was stronger than them, so they started looking for ways to escape.

There were those that were angered by the sudden sneak attack and wanted to get revenge for it.

Then there were those that adopted the wait and see position since they had no idea what had happened.

As I watched them, I couldn’t help feeling that they were quite like humans when it came to how they reacted.

"Well, even if they developed in a different environment, it isn’t as if intelligent creatures would be that different. It makes sense that they would act the same way that humans do." I couldn’t help muttering under my breath before preparing for the next attack.

It wasn’t as if I was panicking because the first attack clearly hadn’t been effective against these rock creatures. After all, the first attack was nothing more than a probe to see how to send out the second attack.

If there was one thing that I was lacking, it was proper information about these rock creatures.

To be specific, it was what actually counted as the vital parts for these things.

Without knowing that, the only thing that I could do was shatter them with the swords like I had just done. I didn’t even know if I was hurting them since they had been repairing themselves with the pieces that had fallen off.

I had no idea if that was just because they had a strong healing ability or if it was because these parts weren’t even their real body in the first place.

But this time, I wasn’t hesitating.

After all, there was a reason why the swords had gone off in all those different directions. There was a reason that I had aimed at all of the different rock creatures that were in this place instead of just my target.

It didn’t take long for a group of these rock creatures to come out of the mansion and the moment that they did, they were all hit with the swords that were sent flying.

This time, none of them were able to revive.

This time, they all turned into piles of loot.

That was because this time I had struck their weak point and the moment that their weak point was hit, they had no way of coming back from that. The moment that their weak point was hit, they immediately lost all traces of life.

It was all because the weak point that I hit was something that they just couldn’t live without.

It was the one thing that they gathered their entire being around, so it could even be said that this was the true form of these rock creatures.

What I had hit was a core that was right in the center of their chests.

When I had aimed at their chests, I had never expected this kind of result. But when they suddenly shattered apart like this, it was impossible for me to ignore the result.

Which was why I didn’t panic at all after seeing them gather again.

"Are they some kind of artificial creature?" I couldn’t help asking myself when I saw them collapse like this. After all, the way that they had formed around the core in their chest really made it seem like they were creatures that had been created by someone with this core.

Still, I had the sword pick up all the loot that had dropped from these rock creatures and put them away.

After all, this wasn’t the time to look over the loot right now.

I still had to follow my real target, which was why I looked at the mansion.

I could feel the presence of that real target moving through the mansion.

It seemed like they really were quite the scumbag with how they completely abandoned the people under them.

There was a part of me that felt like I shouldn’t have been that surprised in the first place. After all, I had already seen the way that the leader of the guards had acted.

They bullied those that were weaker than them and when there was someone stronger than them, they ran while sending out cannon fodder to stall the enemy. It seemed like this was just the kind of personality that they had developed after being in charge for so long.

Still, it wasn’t as if they would be able to escape with me here.

Though I felt like I could do something interesting since they were running.

Aiming the swords, I sent them flying right through the mansion. But this time, they were slicing as they flew through the air.

I had them all shaped in a circle as I sent them out, so they cut out a large circle from the mansion. In the circle that had been cut out, there were the rock creatures that had been trying to escape.

They were able to land on the ground without a problem even if they were buried by the rubble. The fact that they were from the higher and middle class was a testament of their strength, a bit of rubble wouldn’t be enough to actually do anything to them.

But once they came out, the leader of the group immediately pushed the others to charge at me.

All of them were hesitating since none of them had ever seen someone who fought like me before, but it wasn’t as if I was going to give them that chance.

While they were still hesitating on whether to attack or not, I already sent out the swords.

They raised their arms to defend themselves, but that didn’t matter as the swords penetrated through and hit them right in the chest. Once their cores had been shattered, it really didn’t matter what they wanted to do.

All of them dropped to the ground in a pile of loot.
