The Domain Council convened, with Alex focusing on military matters after settling civilian agendas. Commander Kavakan presented the War Council's proposal for a professional standing army, replacing the old peasant-garrison system with full-time soldiers receiving salaries. He also suggested limiting the army's size to roughly one-tenth of the domain's population. Alex agreed to a plan where recruits would train with the Empire's standard cultivation manual while a superior one is sought, and equipment would start with crossbows, accepting Kavakan's proposal to finalize the military's structure.
