Raising My Trash Ability into a Broken SSS+ Rank Skill Chapter 874 Scumbag
Previously on Raising My Trash Ability into a Broken SSS+ Rank Skill...
In a realm where thousands of higher beings resided, existing in a state that transcended normal comprehension.
Where the temperature and other environmental effects differed every few kilometres, creating microclimates of wildly varying conditions.
All sorts of houses could be seen scattered across the landscape, some made of wood resembling old times and primitive construction.
Some tall and so futuristic even earth can't develop them for a few centuries, their design defying conventional architecture, while some even looked like ant caves carved into crystalline structures.
Since passage of time means little to the higher beings, all of them easily get bored, always needing something new and exciting to occupy their eternal existence.
Which is where the gods and those games fill in, it was exactly from these games that many higher beings were impressed and took houses from, or many other things, copying designs they found entertaining.
These games always offer something new and fun, watching the survival of those weak had brought them pleasure in ways that mundane existence could never provide.
In every century or two, the games were organised and played for all higher beings to watch, becoming grand events.
Otherwise they would just pass time in this realm or go out to explore different realms, though most higher beings had gotten too lazy, controlled by desires and comfort.
They would just stay in the realm all the time, never venturing far from their homes.
Their strength was also lower than the other higher beings who would fight or explore other realms, their constant indolence weakening them over time.
The higher beings can't die because of the passage of time, which is probably why they are always at war with other entities such as Crooked, Asuras, the Witches and others. Death came only through combat or external forces.
Just among them, there are also some factions such as the Law Holders, the Vespera family, which Evelyn is a part of, wielding significant influence.
There is also the Garissa family, which has sort of underworld among higher beings, controlling illicit activities.
Aside from these two top families, there were also many other groups and organizations, some formed to oppose the Vespera family, some formed purely for fun and companionship.
Two such major organizations were Arson Lords and Holy Righteous Heresy, both possessing high strength and considerable resources.
Before arriving in the higher being's realm, Vritra and the others received a large amount of information from the Divine, preparing them for what was to come.
For now, they would just stay here for some time since the current goal was becoming gods themselves.
Divine did whatever he could to prepare them and left the rest to Evelyn who had made arrangements on her own, using her family connections.
In an empty area, where the ground was covered by tiny plants that could be peerless treasures for even demi gods, valuable beyond measure.
It suddenly got covered by a looming shadow, blocking out the light, then something large, covered by dark flames slowly descended from the sky.
Such a spectacle pulled the attention of surrounding bored higher beings, those whose houses were present nearby, desperate for any distraction.
The houses some were even up in the sky or hidden in secret realms they had created in their areas, invisible to the untrained eye.
"Oh, they are back?!"
Someone exclaimed with genuine surprise, as the house of darkness finally and safely landed on the ground, occupying a big area. The landing was controlled and precise despite the massive size.
But still had a large area around the house, space that could be used for various purposes.
These areas had been allotted or won by the higher beings, from outside it won't look much, appearing ordinary and unremarkable.
But they can easily make it infinitely big or as small as a needle tip, manipulating space was a minor thing for them after all, a basic application of their power.
The nearby people all looked with interest at the house of darkness, this area had been empty for quite some time now, unused and unclaimed.
Many even had their eyes set on it, hungry for its acquisition, but as a rule set by the Vespera family, established long ago.
They can't usurp it unless it remains empty for a certain period of time or is won through some bets or other means of competition.
So, they sighed seeing the previous resident return, their hopes dashed, but what surprised them even more was the condition of the house itself.
It belonged to a powerful warrior from the Vespera family, but that guy was said to be a mole and was long disposed of, eliminated for his treachery.
This house was not ordinary either, that person had exhausted nearly all his fortune into creating it and barely succeeded, pushing himself to the limit.
The result being exceptional and awe-inspiring in its construction.
The house of darkness, which Vritra had obtained from the world bank had been nerfed since staying in the outer space, its power diminished by the journey.
But as soon as it landed, root like arms thrusted into the ground with force, as the house firmly took its place, establishing dominance over the area.
It suddenly seemed to possess a bit of consciousness, awakening to its new surroundings, the black flames became terrifyingly powerful that would keep even other higher beings away, creating a barrier of pure menace.
The stone guards which previously had only been at the level of lords also rapidly returned to their peak strength, their power surging back.
Most of them possessed the strength of demi gods, all of level 10, there were even some god level protectors, ancient constructs of tremendous power.
The vision of all the peering higher beings was instantly blocked by the house of darkness, as it seemed to grow bigger by several times, expanding to demonstrate its authority.
Inside the house, Vritra, his wives, Onest, Gunter and Ava were all sitting in a hall, gathered together.
They all sensed the changes happening around them, the aura of the house had suddenly spiked to the roof, becoming almost overwhelming.
"It is time…" Divine's voice sounded through the space, and everyone looked at the table where an insect was present, small but powerful.
"But before that, there is one more thing you all should know."
"What is it now?" Vritra had gotten tired upon hearing the constant buzzing of this bug, the irritating sound wearing on his patience, he really wanted to spray some anti bug spray at it.
'I wonder if Divine will die.' He wondered idly and decided to try it later when he had the opportunity.
"I had killed the higher beings who used to live in this space, so you all will be taking over their identities." Divine said, his tone matter-of-fact, after seeing them all nod he continued with the explanation:
"The master of the house were eight people, a man, his three wives, three daughters and his mother-"
Onest couldn't help but interrupt in the middle, curious: "Then what about the rest of us? Do we just hide inside the house?"
"No no, let me finish first." Divine didn't mind the interruption and again started explaining patiently.
"The names or appearances doesn't mean much so you can just use your original ones since Evelyn will take care of it and provide the necessary documentation. Now, the man of the house was a rather bad person, a playboy and cruel to his family-"
"What? This happen even in the higher beings?" Onest asked incredulously, shocked by this revelation.
Isn't that the story of normal people in lower realms?
"Haha these higher beings sometimes have it rougher than other people, they are created in a way that even if they are cowardly and hide, they always attract trouble and fights regardless." Divine replied with a laugh, finding amusement in the question.
"Anyway, the stories of his cruelty are pretty popular and he got punished several times by the Law Holders for his actions."
Vritra frowned upon hearing this but said nothing, remaining silent, the role sounded easy to play though once he understood what was expected.
And just as expected, Divine spoke: "Let's now describe the roles for each of you."
"Vritra is a scumbag-" Divine spoke in a gloating tone, clearly enjoying himself, who would have thought he can openly badmouth him like this.
But seeing Vritra ready to squish him into a smear and the surrounding women glaring daggers at the insect, even his sisters joining in the glare, he quickly changed his wordings to be safer.
"Vritra is the scumbag… 'character', the mother will be…" Divine paused and looked at the surrounding people, considering options.
Ava piped up hearing this, her heart racing, of course this role was tailor made for her, if not her then who else could be a mother to all of them-
"It will be Vanessa." But Divine's words quickly poured cold water on her hopes and expectations.
She didn't interrupt, only sighing in her heart, accepting the assignment without complaint.
"As for the three wives, they will be Yasmine, Yennefer and Diana. While the daughters are Fiona, Maeve and Teresa." Divine added, laying out the complete structure.
Listening to these words, it almost felt as if they were about to play some big roleplay game, some kind of elaborate performance.
Yasmine, Yennefer and Diana didn't feel any difference since their status remained the same, their roles unchanged in essence.
Vanessa too didn't feel much about it, accepting her new position with grace.
But Fiona, Maeve and Teresa glanced at each other, speechlessly and with some uncertainty. Were they now going to be daughters to their husband? The implications seemed strange.
