My Celestial Ascension Chapter 1036: A Monster

Danny stared at his subordinate, who was lying unconscious on the floor, with a baffled expression. His eyes widened in shock at what had just happened.

He then turned his gaze toward Yuan, the scrawny-looking guy who had just sent a massive man flying.

’How the hell could a weakling like him send Jake flying like that?! He weighs well over 120 kilograms! This is ridiculous!’ he screamed inwardly.

He then glanced at his other gang members, who were still shaken by what they had just witnessed. The disbelief was clearly visible on their faces.

"Damn it! What the hell are you all standing around for?! Get him!" he shouted furiously.

"R-Right...!" His gang members snapped out of their daze and immediately surrounded Yuan.

"You might have caught Jake by surprise, but you won’t stand a chance against all of us attacking together!" one of them declared with a confident grin.

"That’s right! Let’s beat the crap out of him!"

They all charged at Yuan. A few lunged for his arms, while others targeted his legs, attempting to pin him down so the rest could pummel him.

Unfortunately for them, Yuan immediately saw through their plan. With his incredibly fast reflexes, he didn’t even bother to dodge.

"It doesn’t matter whether you’re alone or working together. I’ll beat you all just as easily." Yuan grinned before throwing a powerful punch at each of them in the blink of an eye.

The thugs couldn’t even react to Yuan’s superhuman speed. From their perspective, he hadn’t moved an inch from his original position.

And yet, somehow, they all felt a sharp pain in their jaws before being sent flying, just like Jake.

Bam! Bam! Crack!

However, before they could crash to the ground, Yuan caught them midair and effortlessly snapped their bones before slamming them down like sacks of potatoes.

"There, you see? I told you it wouldn’t matter how many of you came at me. I’ll beat every last one of you, regardless of your numbers."

Yuan glanced at the six men lying motionless on the ground, a faint smile playing on his lips. His gaze was cold, almost devoid of emotion.

Not one of them moved. They were all completely unconscious, their bodies riddled with broken bones and severe injuries.

"A bunch of pathetic vermin dare to act so arrogantly in front of me..."

"Hmph! That’s what you get for barging into my house uninvited." Yuan snorted coldly, showing not the slightest hint of remorse.

He then turned his attention toward Danny and Eric, both of whom were visibly shaken by what they had just witnessed. Eric, in particular, looked utterly terrified. His legs trembled uncontrollably, and his face had turned deathly pale.

’W-What the hell is with his monstrous strength and speed?! How can a human even move like that?! This is insane!’ Eric screamed inwardly. He was so terrified that he could barely keep himself from wetting his pants.

Meanwhile, Danny, the gang leader, glared at Yuan furiously after witnessing how brutally his men had been beaten.

’T-This bastard is a complete monster... I made a mistake judging him by his appearance. But now, I’ll take him seriously.’ He clenched his fists tightly as he thought.

Eric, meanwhile, was desperately trying to figure out a way to save himself. He had already witnessed what Yuan could do without even breaking a sweat, and now every thug except Danny had been taken down.

’I need to get out of here, or I’ll end up just like them!’ he screamed inwardly, his heart pounding wildly as his legs continued to shake with fear.

’I’ll let Danny hold him off while I sneak away without making a sound... Once I get home, I’ll ask Dad for help in taking this bastard down.’ He carefully weighed his options in his mind.

"You’re dead, kid!" Danny stepped forward furiously. "How dare you beat up my men so badly?! You’ll pay for this with your life!"

"Brother Danny, fuck that piece of shit up! I’ll pay you two hundred thousand after this!" Eric shouted from behind, looking extremely confident.

’Good. Just keep him occupied so I can escape... It’s all up to you now, Brother Danny!’ Eric thought with an inward smile as he watched Danny approach Yuan.

"Oh? Are you planning to avenge your goons?" Yuan asked with a smile. "Are you confident you can beat me and get justice for your men?"

"It’s not a matter of confidence. I’m one hundred percent sure I’ll rearrange your face!" Danny replied with a grin, tightening his fist until his knuckles cracked.

A wide grin spread across Yuan’s face. However, his expression suddenly changed as he narrowed his eyes and glanced toward Eric, who had already made his way out of the property.

"And where do you think you’re going?" Yuan asked, a dangerous smile creeping across his face.

"Did you really think you could run away from me?"

Yuan immediately activated his Qi Manifestation, extending his Qi toward Eric and lifting him into the air without moving an inch from his spot.

"W-Wh-What the hell is happening?! Why am I floating?!" Eric screamed in panic as an invisible force suddenly lifted him off the ground.

"Let me go! My dad is the CEO of Lunar Corporation! You can’t touch me!"

"Put me down, or my dad will make you regret this!"

Eric’s mind descended into chaos as he struggled to comprehend how he was floating in midair. He felt completely powerless, unable to do anything against the mysterious force holding him.

"Ghost! Ghost! There’s a ghost here! Somebody save me!"

"Let me go! I don’t want to die!"

Eric screamed whatever came to mind, utterly convinced that he was experiencing something beyond the realm of common sense.

"What the fuck am I watching?" Danny stared in utter disbelief, completely dumbfounded by the bizarre scene unfolding before his eyes.

’How the hell is he doing that?! Is this some kind of black magic?!’ Danny was so bewildered that he could barely think straight.

Thud!

Eric was suddenly slammed onto the ground, landing right in front of Yuan, who was still wearing a mocking smile.

Yuan raised his foot and planted it firmly on Eric’s chest, pinning him to the ground with increasing pressure.

"The moment you stepped into the VIP District, your fate was already in my hands. There’s no way you’re escaping this place." Yuan declared with a wide grin.

Eric’s expression froze. His entire body went numb as the horrifying realization sank in that he had absolutely no chance of escaping.

"But before I decide what to do with you, I have to deal with this idiot first." Yuan said, turning his attention toward Danny.

"Don’t think your little tricks will—"

Before Danny could finish his sentence, he suddenly felt an invisible force seize him and drag him toward Yuan.

Before he could even process what was happening, he found himself suspended in the air, with Yuan gripping him tightly by the neck and his feet dangling helplessly above the ground.

’What the hell is happening?! How did I end up in his grasp?!’ Danny screamed inwardly, panic overwhelming him.

Without wasting another second, Yuan unleashed a barrage of punches on Danny, carefully controlling his strength. Otherwise, even a single punch could have reduced the man to a bloody pulp.

"Aghhh!!!" Danny screamed in agony as Yuan shattered his jaw, leaving his face horribly swollen and drenched in blood.

However, Yuan wasn’t finished. He continued to beat Danny mercilessly, breaking several of his ribs and limbs and leaving him on the verge of being crippled.

Eric watched the brutal beating unfold with absolute horror etched across his face. A chill ran down his spine as he witnessed the horrifying extent of Danny’s injuries.

’H-He’s a monster... A fucking monster!’ Eric screamed inwardly.

Once Danny had lost consciousness and become completely unresponsive, Yuan tossed him onto the ground like a sack of garbage.

He then turned his attention to Eric, who was trembling in sheer horror at what he had just witnessed.

"Well, I know why you came here... Too bad your plan didn’t work out," Yuan said with a smile. However, to Eric, that smile looked more like a death sentence.

"You planned to kidnap my women while I was away... But you never considered the possibility that I might not get arrested, did you?"

"If I were an ordinary person, everything would have gone exactly as you planned. Unfortunately for you, I’m anything but ordinary." Yuan grinned.

"No one in this world can lay a finger on me unless I allow it. And since you dared to come after me despite my warning, I’ll make sure you suffer for the rest of your life."

With those words, Yuan delivered a powerful kick to Eric’s groin, sending him flying.

"AAAAAGGGHHHH!!!"

Eric screamed at the top of his lungs, the excruciating pain so overwhelming that he momentarily forgot how to breathe.

"That’s more like it! Go ahead and scream to your heart’s content. No one’s coming to answer your cries!" Yuan laughed as he watched Eric writhe on the ground in agony.

"Did you ever consider this possibility when you were plotting to take my women for yourself? No, right?" Yuan asked mockingly as he grabbed Eric by the hair and lifted him off the ground.

Bam!

Yuan delivered a solid punch to Eric’s face, knocking him unconscious instantly.

Yuan glanced down at Eric’s unconscious body for a moment before muttering, "Well, killing him right now wouldn’t be nearly as entertaining. Let’s give him a little surprise when he wakes up in a hospital bed."

"Xiaoyan, can you come out for a moment?" he called, looking toward the villa’s entrance.

A second later, Fang Xiaoyan emerged from the villa, an excited look on her face.

"What is it, hubby?"

"Well, I need your help with something real quick." Yuan grinned before explaining exactly what he wanted her to do.
