The police arrived to arrest Yuan, but he easily subdued them with his overwhelming power, even stopping a bullet mid-air. He warned the police chief and Officer Jenny to stay away, threatening to destroy their department if they returned.

Beep! Beep! Beep!

The patient monitor beeped steadily as Chief Taylor lay unconscious on the hospital bed.

Four other officers were lying unconscious in nearby beds. Their condition appeared worse, with bruises covering their bodies.

Beside the beds, Officer Jenny sat on a stool, looking gloomy and concerned.

’Yuan... He moves at a speed that should be impossible for a human. And then there’s that woman who can conjure flames... Just who are they, and how were they able to do such things?’ she pondered, replaying the scenes in her mind.

Nothing she had witnessed that day was normal. The possibility that people around her possessed supernatural powers left her feeling deeply conflicted.

Her entire view of the world had been turned upside down after that encounter. She wasn’t sure if she could handle the existence of people with such extraordinary abilities.

’How are we supposed to proceed from here? What should I tell the higher-ups?’ she wondered, feeling confused and uncertain about how to handle the situation.

Just then, the door opened, and a doctor walked in, holding their medical reports.

"Officer Jenny, can you tell us what happened to Chief Taylor and your colleagues?" the doctor asked after glancing at the monitors.

"A lot happened... Unfortunately, I can’t go into the details," Officer Jenny replied with a soft sigh.

"By the way, how are they? Is anyone in life-threatening condition?"

"No. They’re all fine. Aside from a few fractures and some minor injuries, there’s nothing seriously wrong with them. With proper rest, they should make a full recovery," the doctor informed her.

"Good. I was worried something serious might have happened to them... What a relief." Officer Jenny nodded, letting out a soft sigh.

Her concerns about Chief Taylor and her four colleagues had eased. However, she remained deeply troubled by Yuan and the women accompanying him.

’I have to inform the higher-ups about this as soon as possible... I can’t afford to let them act freely and cause more trouble,’ she thought.

Meanwhile, Yuan was in his room, having just stepped out of the bathroom after taking a shower.

"What are you going to do about that fool? Are you going to let him keep causing trouble for us, or are you going to silence him?" Emma asked, wrapping her arms around him from behind.

"I’m not entirely sure yet. Killing him now would only create more problems for us, especially since the police have already grown suspicious of us," he replied with a soft sigh.

He continued, "By now, he must be under constant police surveillance. After all, his father is the CEO of Lunar Corporation."

"For now, we can’t touch him directly. Besides, I doubt he’ll be happy when he finds out the police failed to arrest me."

"People are all the same... Whether in this world or mine, they’re always envious of one another," Emma remarked.

"You’re right." Yuan nodded with a smile before adding, "No matter where you go, you’ll find people like that everywhere."

Meanwhile, outside the VIP District, Eric sat comfortably inside his sports car, holding his phone to his ear.

"Brother Danny, where are you? Why haven’t you arrived yet?" he asked, sounding a little irritated.

[We’ll be there within a minute. Don’t worry. Just wait for us.] A voice came through the phone’s speaker.

"Make it quick." Eric ended the call and glanced toward the VIP District.

"I never expected that bastard to be so wealthy... He’s the mysterious owner of Villa Number Two."

The thought irritated him even more. Not only was Yuan surrounded by beautiful women, but he also owned Villa Number Two—the very same villa Eric had been eyeing for a long time.

"Just you wait... I’ll take everything you have and make you rot in prison!" Eric muttered, a dangerous smile spreading across his face.

A short while later, a minivan pulled up beside his sports car, and several thugs climbed out.

"Young Master Eric, we’re here, just as you asked," one of the thugs said as he approached the car.

"So, what’s the job? Are we kidnapping someone or giving someone a beating?" another thug asked.

"We’re going to capture two women I like. Don’t worry. No one will say a word about it. It’s an easy job for you guys," Eric said with a slight grin as he stepped out of his car.

"When did capturing women become an easy job? What about their families? Won’t they come looking for them?" Danny asked, raising his brows slightly.

"Don’t worry, Brother Danny. Aside from the women, there’s no one else in the house."

"Well, if that’s the case, why are we still standing around? Let’s get the job done," Danny said with a wide grin.

"Brothers! Let’s finish this quickly so we can head back and have some fun at our usual place!" Danny called out to his men, looking excited.

Before long, they arrived outside Yuan’s villa. The moment they stepped out, they were surprised by the freshness of the air. It was as though they had been breathing polluted air their entire lives and had only just experienced what fresh air truly felt like.

"What the hell is going on with the air quality here? It’s so refreshing!" one of Danny’s men muttered in amazement.

"No kidding... I feel like I’ve been breathing fake air my whole life," another man remarked.

"No wonder this villa is so special... It’s all because of the air quality. Now I understand," Eric mumbled under his breath.

Meanwhile, Yuan and the others had already sensed Eric and his men approaching the villa long before they arrived.

"It seems the lamb has walked right into the tiger’s den all by itself..." Valeria remarked with a faint smile.

"Well, now that he’s come all this way, how could I let him leave without showing him some proper ’hospitality’?" Yuan said, a wide grin spreading across his face.

He rose from the sofa and headed toward the door. His expression turned cold as he reached for the handle.

Opening the door, he looked at Eric with a smile.

"Well, well. Look who it is. The fool who’s been causing me so much trouble has decided to pay me a visit."

Eric’s expression immediately froze the moment Yuan appeared before him.

"Y-You... Shouldn’t you be in prison right now? What the hell are you doing here?!" he exclaimed, staring at Yuan in disbelief.

"Why would I be in prison? Is there anyone who could even capture me?" Yuan chuckled softly, making Eric even more nervous.

Eric’s mind raced as sweat began to trickle down his face. A chill ran down his spine as he struggled to make sense of the situation.

’What the hell is going on?! How is this bastard standing here?! Shouldn’t he be in jail right now?!’ he screamed inwardly, utterly shocked.

’That useless officer... I’ll skin him alive once I get out of here!’

Before Eric could say anything, Danny stepped forward with an arrogant smile and looked at Yuan.

"Young Master Eric, why are you so afraid of him? He’s just a scrawny little bastard. There’s no need to fear him with us around," he said, placing a hand on Eric’s shoulder.

"Guys! Beat the shit out of this idiot!" Danny shouted.

"On it, Boss!"

His subordinates immediately surrounded Yuan, grinning arrogantly as they cracked their knuckles, clearly intent on intimidating him.

A faint smile appeared on Yuan’s face.

"Do you really think a few weaklings like you could take me down? How ridiculous!"

"Don’t joke with me, kid. With that scrawny body of yours, what could you possibly do?" one of Danny’s men laughed, prompting the others to join in.

"He’s got guts for someone who’s about to get beaten to a pulp!"

"No kidding, man. He sure has some serious bravado... But it won’t do him any good now."

Yuan’s expression hardened. He realized he was simply wasting his time talking to these arrogant thugs.

"In that case, you’d better prepare yourselves. Because I won’t be going easy on you," Yuan said, his voice turning cold and dangerous.

Danny and his men burst into laughter, with Eric joining in.

However, before any of them could say another word, a punch struck one of Danny’s subordinates—the largest man among them.

Bam!

The punch shattered the man’s skull and sent his massive body flying.

Thud!

His body crashed onto the ground a couple of meters away with a heavy impact.

"..."

Everyone fell silent.

Not a single person uttered a word. Their eyes widened in disbelief, and their bodies froze on the spot.

They couldn’t comprehend what had just hit the large man or how it had sent him flying.

"W-What just happened...?" Danny muttered, staring in disbelief.

His subordinate, the man who had taken the punch, now lay unconscious on the ground, blood pouring from his mouth.

Eric trembled with fear as he stared at the large man lying on the ground, bleeding profusely. A chill ran down his spine.

’This is bad... I’m finished! I’m going to die...!’ he screamed inwardly, his face turning deathly pale.
