Jie Ming observes as three eighth-level wizards, Peyton, Alvis, and Meridian, successfully hold back three ninth-level behemoths, a feat previously requiring significantly more power. This allows the main forces to engage, with wizards gaining an advantage thanks to the new Leap Power technology. However, Dixon senses an incoming threat: stealth-type behemoths attempting to raid the wizard ship-plane. Dixon's warning allows close-combat wizards to intercept, swiftly overwhelming the stealth behemoths who are ill-suited for direct confrontation, much to the dismay of Jie Ming and Dixon who lament the loss of valuable research material.
