Vincent leaves Bluebell Reach City after a brief stay, drawing a large crowd of admirers. He heads back to the Magic City in his aircraft, leaving a Zero Puppet to monitor it. Upon returning to Gregor Mansion, he convenes a meeting with his subordinates, informing them of his recent success in subduing Magic Lord Duncan and reassuring them of their value as he begins to form his own team for future missions.

Outside Land Territory

I was sitting in the cockpit seat. The zero puppet in red smoke form was around me. The raven aircraft was flying at full speed.

I calculated based on the speed. At this rate, I might reach the border in two days. I recalled my previous journey.

After leaving Crystal City, I had crossed several outside land cities and visited some of them.

The cities included Darkwood City, Nova City, Blue Heart City, Iron Bell City, Rockwell City, Darkmoon City, and Bluebell Reach City.

I had visited so many cities to uncover the identity of the enemies. I had managed to do that.

A quick gleam appeared in my eyes. But Magic Lord Duncan had revealed much more information. I didn’t want to waste time doing an investigation again.

Since the Mage Union was already aware of their identity, they were not taking action for some reason. Instead, they were sending wizards from the Magic Towers to investigate.

Fortunately, Elder Dana had formally ordered my return. Otherwise, it could have raised questions. Now no one could question why I was back in the middle of a mission.

After pushing away the thoughts, I began to enjoy the journey. The raven aircraft was going fast, but I could still observe the passing views.

...

Darkmoon City

While the rescue efforts were going on, help from the nearby cities still came. A large aircraft arrived this time. The aircraft bore the name of a wizard family.

It was called Barrett.

The aircraft stopped in front of the Darkmoon City gate. The cabin door opened.

A few figures exited the aircraft.

Butler Gideon and his followers were behind Supreme Wizard Holden Barrett. They were looking at the city with serious expressions.

They were supposed to get here earlier, but they had been caught by the mana storms midway. By the time they got here, Darkmoon City was already saved.

"I suppose we were late," Holden Barrett said in a serious tone.

"Master, we can still say hello to the Magic Lords here," Gideon said.

"Alright, let’s go," Holden Barrett said.

Then he landed on the ground. Butler Gideon and the followers followed behind him.

They went inside the city without much trouble. The aircraft alone gave away that they were from the Magic City.

Soon, they went to the City Lord’s office and came across Magic Lords Duncan and Gaston. Duncan’s eyes flickered.

He was now a member of Supreme Wizard Vincent Carey’s team. He knew that Supreme Wizard Holden was from the neutral faction.

While his Master was from the White Silver Faction, right now he was representing the Black Tower. So he spoke to them with the attitude of the Black Tower’s people.

Gaston disliked the Silver Tower people. He wanted them gone. They were already done rescuing people. Some of the Forbidden Wizards had already left the place.

Holden Barrett understood that his help was not needed at all. The people were already rescued.

He didn’t want to stay there any longer. After purchasing some supplies, they left the city.

One hour later,

Holden Barrett was talking to Butler Gideon in the aircraft cabin. He had wasted so much time on the journey.

"What’s going to be next?"

"We wasted so much time," Holden Barrett said.

Gideon didn’t know what to say. The mana storm was a terrifying calamity. Even the Magic Lords would find it hard to dispel.

They had waited for the path to clear, but by the time they arrived here, the problem was already solved.

Holden Barrett then thought of Vincent Carey. He raised his eyebrows.

"What about him?"

"Is there any news about him and his team?" Holden Barrett asked.

Butler Gideon knew his master was asking about Supreme Wizard Vincent Carey.

"Master, the family wizards have news. Supreme Wizard Vincent was seen in Bluebell Reach City," Gideon said.

Hearing that, Holden Barrett raised his eyebrows.

"What is he doing there?" he asked.

"We don’t know yet," Butler Gideon replied.

Holden Barrett knew that Bluebell Reach City was run by families connected to the Silver Tower. The city was not far away from here.

"Let’s go to the city," Holden Barrett said.

Hearing that, the butler was taken aback.

"Master, do you want to meet him?" the butler asked.

Holden Barrett shook his head and said, "If there is a chance, why not?"

Butler Gideon didn’t ask further. He knew Master Holden was under pressure.

It had been some time since he had found anything concrete, while everyone else was making moves. So he didn’t want to disturb him.

Time passed.

Several hours later,

They reached Bluebell Reach City. The big aircraft was quite fast. When they got there, they learned the latest information.

Supreme Wizard Vincent Carey had left the city several hours ago. The news disappointed Holden Barrett.

He found that Wizard Vincent was always on the run; it was hard to meet him. More than that, he could not find any news about Appraiser Frank and his team.

He thought Supreme Wizard Vincent might have sent them somewhere else for the mission.

Holden Barrett was received by City Lord Aveline. She had a headache. One troublemaker was gone, and then she received another one.

What she found surprising was that the Barrett Family heir was after Supreme Wizard Vincent. She told them what had happened in the city.

Their city was not facing any attacks. Only the appearance of Supreme Wizard Vincent had made headlines.

Other than that, the city was functioning normally. Holden Barrett decided to stay in the Prime Hotel for a couple of days.

Butler Gideon watched everything. He then quietly sent a message to the Family Head. He thought Master Holden Barrett was under pressure.

It was because there was no direction from the Silver Tower or the family; he was doing it on his own.

Whereas Supreme Wizard Vincent Carey had done something remarkable with his small team of Appraiser Business staff.

The followers were feeling helpless as well. They really wanted to help Butler Gideon, but they lacked what was needed for that.

After their first few successes, the traces of the enemies were hard to find. And the cities were facing a crisis as well. They didn’t want to fall into a trap.

For now, they could only follow the orders of Master Holden.

City Lord Aveline watched them leave. She then texted Prime Hotel Manager Russell to take care of them.
