Vincent has been training in the mana chamber, significantly increasing his forbidden magic power. Upon checking his status, he sees his strength and magic power have grown substantially. He discovers that crowds have gathered outside his hotel due to his fame from magic duels. Meanwhile, news breaks that Darkmoon City has been taken over by the Black Tower's Forbidden Wizards, with Magic Lords Duncan and Gaston aiding in rescue efforts. Suddenly, Manager Lara calls Vincent with urgent news: Lord Erwin has gone missing, and Vincent is assigned a special mission to find clues.

Bluebell Reach City

After ending the call with Manager Lara, I began to get ready. I didn’t know what had happened to Lord Erwin. He was a powerful Forbidden Wizard.

It was impossible for him to go missing. I thought it was related to his mission. Once I got there, I would learn about it.

20 minutes later,

I walked up to the window and saw a huge crowd standing outside the hotel. I looked at the sky. A powerful magic layer had covered the sky.

It was a magic restriction. Then I decided to leave through the main gate. I could not leave through the sky, but I could fly low below the restriction.

After figuring that out, I left the room. Then I took the elevator to reach the ground floor. Next, I walked up to the administration desk.

I saw three people. Along with the male and female staff, there was one more person standing there. He was a new face.

Just as I was walking up to them, my appearance drew their attention.

The faces of the admin staff and Manager Russell changed drastically. Russell immediately came forward to greet me.

It was going to be his first time meeting him.

"Lord Vincent, I’m Russell. I’m the manager of this place. I hope you didn’t have any problems here," Russell said with a smile.

"Yeah, I enjoyed my stay here. I’m checking out right now," I said.

Hearing that, Manager Russell was taken aback. Even the admin staff were surprised.

"Lord, is this about the crowd outside the hotel? We will do something about it," Russell said.

Hearing that, I turned towards him and said, "I came here for a short stay. Now, I have work to do. Inform your City Lord about it. I don’t have time to say goodbye to her."

Manager Russell nodded his head. He understood that Wizard Vincent had urgent work to do.

I went to the admin desk, handed over my room card, and checked out. I thanked the male and female staff before exiting through the door.

The male and female staff were in shock. They didn’t have words to speak. They simply nodded their heads.

Creak!

I walked out of the door. The next second, I was greeted by a sea of people with a loud roar.

"Supreme Wizard Vincent!"

"Wizard Vincent is here!"

"Silver Tower Wizard!"

The passionate young wizards shouted in loud voices.

"Thanks for coming, but I have work to do. I’ll come again some other time." After saying that, I used my flight ability.

Swoosh!

I flew out from the place and headed towards the main gate at breakneck speed.

The crowd on the ground saw a sonic boom. They understood that Wizard Vincent had urgent work to do, but some were disappointed. They had wanted pictures with Jeremy Night.

They could only go back now. It didn’t take long for the people to vacate the hotel. The hotel premises looked empty now.

Hotel Manager Russell and the admin staff watched the scene. They sighed in relief. Russell had already informed City Lord Aveline about it.

In the City Lord’s office, Aveline heard the news from Hotel Manager Russell. Wizard Vincent had already mentioned that it was going to be a short stay.

She was glad that he had left. Otherwise, she would have continued to receive calls from other cities.

When she thought about their meeting, her eyes gleamed with a twinkle. She believed that when Celeste came back, she might get the opportunity to watch their battle.

She then watched the news. The local media houses reported that Supreme Wizard Vincent had left the place.

She thought everyone would return to their normal lives now. She then collected her thoughts and resumed her work.

...

Outside

I was heading back to the Magic City in the Raven Aircraft. I turned on the stealth and autopilot mode. The aircraft became transparent.

It was now cruising in the sky among the blue clouds.

After arranging everything, I went inside the Gregor Mansion. I went to the control room and brought the Zero Puppet outside.

I ordered the Zero Puppet to monitor the aircraft.

Then I appeared back in the mansion and convened a meeting. Otto, Patrick, Hank, Old Man Rock, and Lady Caitlin appeared and sat down in their chairs.

The two monsters were in the basement.

"Master, where are we right now?" Otto asked.

Hearing that, everyone looked towards me. They wanted to know the answer.

"What happened to that Magic Lord?" Caitlin asked.

Hearing that, I decided to tell them what had happened so far. It took me twenty minutes. I told them that I had subdued Magic Lord Duncan as well.

Now, the faces of everyone were serious. In particular, Otto, Patrick, and Hank were facing pressure.

The inclusion of Magic Lords made them look weak, because they were just Supreme Wizards.

I saw through their thoughts and said, "There is no need to feel low. Everyone is working for me. The other Magic Tower Wizards have the support of their families."

"I’m starting to form my own team as well. In the future, I might take on dangerous missions. The help of everyone is needed," I added.

Hearing that, everyone’s faces eased.

"He is right. There is no need to be afraid of an old lady like me," Caitlin said jokingly.

"Lady Caitlin, there is no need to say that. We just thought we were not being helpful to the Master," Otto said.

Patrick and Hank nodded their heads.

Caitlin smiled and said, "I know all of you have interesting magic. He formed this team considering your magic skills, so don’t think too much. Everyone has their own talent to work on."

At this time, Old Man Rock said, "Lady Caitlin is right. The master sees everyone as equal. Don’t think the Magic Lords’ strength will make us look down upon you."

He sounded quite harsh. Otto, Patrick, and Hank came back to their senses. This time, the three of them apologized.

"Alright, let’s talk about the mission. I’m going back to the Magic City to receive a mission, so I want everyone to be in their peak state. I’ll tell you the rest of the details after returning to the city," I said.

Hearing that, everyone agreed. Then I dismissed them before appearing back in the cockpit. The members then returned to their rooms.
