The status panel appeared before my eyes. My gaze immediately fell on the mana core. Knowing that I was still only halfway there, I didn’t give up.

I would ask him then. Then I thought of the members inside the Gregor Mansion. Before I could think of going inside, my device buzzed.

I picked up the device and saw the contact name. It was none other than Manager Lara. Seeing that, a bright smile appeared on my face.

I answered the call.

"Manager Lara, what is it?"

"I’m staying in Bluebell Reach City without causing any trouble," I said with a smile.

"Vincent, you need to return to Magic City immediately. Elder Dana assigned you a special mission," Lara said.

"A special mission?" I uttered.

I noticed that Lara’s voice was filled with worry.

"First, tell me what happened," I asked.

"Lord Erwin went missing. Lord Charlotte said that you will be given a mission to find clues," Lara said.

"What?" I stood up from the sofa.

Forbidden Wizard Erwin was a powerful Forbidden Wizard. How could he go missing? I thought I had heard wrong.

"Vincent?" Lara called.

"Is this true?" I asked back.

"Yes, you have to come back ASAP. Everyone is waiting for you," Lara said.

"Alright, I’m leaving the city right now," I replied before ending the call.
