After crossing the Undying River, the protagonist entered a dangerous forest, quickly dispatching an earth element wizard. He then decided to take a shortcut through a perilous area toward the Opal Magic Forest, accompanied by his zero puppet. They fought an 11th Order Tree Monster, which the puppet's dark mana eventually corrupted. Later, they encountered a swarm of 10th Order bees, forcing them to retreat to Gregor Mansion temporarily until the swarm dispersed.
