Supremacy Games Chapter 1958 The Anwser Hidden In the Starry Skies...(Epilogue)

Previously on Supremacy Games...
The ten SGRulers gathered, grappling with the emotional aftermath of Felix's betrayal, recognizing the challenges he would face upon waking up. Meanwhile, Empress Emily strategized to provide Felix with a new ally who wouldn't betray him, understanding the depth of his pain. As she ventured into a virtual realm to empathize with Felix's struggles, she realized that love is the ultimate force to heal broken hearts. When Felix eventually awakened, flanked by Asna and Emily, tensions ran high as secrets were unveiled, and Asna's determination to join Felix in his trials forced him to confront his fears about her safety and their intertwined fates.

The Final Universe...

Deep within the ruins of the Imprisonment Grounds, specifically inside the sealing hall, Felix, Asna, and Kronos rested on the floor, utilizing the floating platform as a makeshift table.

Each had a glass of exquisite wine set before them... naturally, they had adjusted their senses to allow for intoxication.

The trio shared laughter and conversation like lifelong companions. In truth, they were far more than that; they were allies bound across the fabric of time, sharing a connection that defied conventional understanding.

Against all odds, they had succeeded, and their relentless efforts had finally reached fruition.

"Old friend, it is truly a gift to finally speak with you this openly," Felix remarked with a chuckle, raising his small glass. "A toast to the Star code—the most ancient messaging system in existence."

"Hahaha! My only regret is that you sent such brief messages, leaving me to handle the heavy lifting by myself," Kronos replied with a laugh, clinking his glass against Felix’s.

"My apologies. I truly attempted to extend the messages, but it was nearly impossible to do so without causing those stars to implode," Felix explained, shaking his head with a wry grin.

"I am merely teasing you," Kronos chuckled. "Lest you forget, I was the one who developed the code."

As the jovial atmosphere settled, a shadow of a bitter smile crossed Felix’s face as he looked toward Asna and Kronos. "I feel this intense urge to celebrate our triumph, yet I find myself asking... celebrate what? My transformation into the new consciousness of the universe? The annihilation of over three hundred and thirty-four different universes? The sacrifice of my masters for a reality that would shatter them? The endless torment I forced my wife to endure? What exactly is there to celebrate?"

"Felix..."

Asna moved closer, taking his hand in hers as she felt the tremors of his inner turmoil.

She was well aware that he possessed the power to simply suppress his emotions and ignore these burdens, but he chose not to. He insisted on feeling the agony and the weight of his guilt; he felt it was necessary.

He needed to determine if the path he had walked—the countless lives lived and the deaths he had orchestrated—was truly worth the ultimate prize.

He wondered if "reward" was even the right word for it.

Felix let out a self-deprecating scoff. "I dragged myself through the depths of hell to reach this peak, to claim this ultimate Cultivation and authority, yet I am starting to believe I traded my life for a curse rather than a blessing."

"You shouldn't think that way..." Asna whispered, trying to offer solace.

"Is he wrong, though?" Kronos countered, finding himself in complete agreement with Felix’s perspective.

Asna shot an annoyed look at Kronos, frustrated that he was validating Felix’s self-reproach. Kronos simply gave a small laugh and downed another drink.

"I wasn't fully aware of the situation on the other side when our partnership began, but had I known you were striving to become the universe’s consciousness just to save it, I would have discouraged you," Kronos admitted with a shrug. "Why take on such a permanent burden that ensures you'll never know a moment of true peace again?"

Immediately upon meeting him, Felix had disclosed the full truth regarding the trials and the other side to Kronos.

He wasn't concerned that the seven celestial hearts would invalidate his quest, for he knew his ascension to the universe’s consciousness was already a reality!

The moment he bonded with the heart of the universe and absorbed its memories, the trials were effectively over, even without the final two celestial hearts from Asna or the missing Elemental Heart.

Once he merged with them, the trial would officially conclude, and the universe would naturally dissipate unless he chose to sustain it.

However, those technicalities were far from his thoughts... he was reeling from the realization that his entire journey was a carefully constructed deception that had wrought immense devastation.

"Felix, you must remember that you fought for this to prove your own worth," Asna stated firmly. "You have shattered every barrier placed before you, and I have stayed by your side through every step."

"I know your heart, and I know you were always meant to stand at this summit. So, hold your head up." Asna gently tilted his face up to meet her gaze. "You didn't endure all of this just to drown in self-pity."

"Then what was the point? I believed the end would provide clarity, but it has only birthed a new set of questions."

While Felix appreciated his wife’s support, his melancholy wasn't a choice. It stemmed from his genuine belief that at the finish line, he would find the elusive answer he had always hunted for.

Why was he created? What was his true function?

If you asked an ordinary person about their purpose, you would receive a myriad of answers—some deeply held, others merely superficial.

One might point to their faith.

Another might say they want to savor every moment before the inevitable end.

Some wouldn't even comprehend the depth of the question.

Others might be offended by the inquiry while they were just trying to survive the day.

Every individual and every race had their own definition.

Felix, however, was searching for a definitive truth—one he could believe in with every fiber of his being.

Despite surviving a literal hell and dragging countless others through it hundreds of times over, the answer remained out of reach. It was enough to make anyone lose their mind. "If even ascending to the level of the universe’s consciousness doesn't reveal the truth, then perhaps a single true answer doesn't exist," Kronos noted, his expression radiating ancient wisdom. "Maybe life isn't a search for a destination, but a journey to be lived until the final curtain falls."

As Felix weighed these words, Kronos added with a knowing wink, "If that doesn't satisfy your hunger for the truth, just keep in mind that you haven't actually reached the true conclusion yet."

"The end..."

A spark of interest returned to Felix’s eyes as he realized he was merely at the dawn of his path as a Supreme.

An entirely new Plane of existence awaited him, where universes were as common as pebbles.

There, ancient and vastly more experienced Supremes had existed for eons longer than he could imagine.

In that place, a brutal survival hierarchy was governed by cosmic games, featuring a metaphorical staircase that led either to divinity or damnation.

"If the answer wasn't within my own universe, I will find it on the Multiversal Plane," Felix whispered, his face hardening with resolve. "It has to be at the peak of that staircase, within the Blessed Isles where The Great Order resides. Otherwise, how could other Supremes endure if their only goal was mere survival?"

Felix couldn't accept that beings of such power fought for something so mundane as survival. For mortals, that made sense, but for those who were immortal?

How could one face eternity without a significant purpose? To Felix, immortality without meaning was nothing more than a slow death.

Asna felt a wave of relief seeing her husband pull himself out of his dark thoughts, while Kronos chuckled quietly.

Kronos had already discovered his own answer after living through billions of years across hundreds of reset timelines.

With every failure and every reset, Kronos had to begin again from nothing, burdened with the memories of every previous life.

The most agonizing part was the cycle of erasing his memories only to have them return, all while being unable to interfere, as doing so would ruin the trial.

He was a perennial observer, waiting for a success that never seemed to come, knowing that failure meant another round of psychological torture.

The fear he felt when he wiped his memory wasn't about the truth itself; it was the terror of being trapped in that infinite loop forever.

At the very least, he had a clear motivation: to finally enter the original timeline and make his existence real.

As the finish line approached and he saw Felix was going to succeed, Kronos didn't feel elation, only a profound sense of relief.

That was when he found his answer, written across the vast tapestry of the stars for anyone brave enough to see it.

Kronos smiled to himself and took another drink.

After a while, the group began discussing Felix’s plans for when they returned to the Original timeline.

"I intend to bring back my masters and every person who aided me in reaching this goal. The truth is a bitter thing, but they have earned the right to know it," Felix declared. "I will face whatever judgment they deem appropriate."

"And the universes that were lost? I realize now how naive I was to think that simply restoring them would fix everything or wash away my guilt," Felix admitted with a sad smile.

He recognized he had been clinging to a fantasy to maintain his sanity during the trials. Recreating those universes as smaller entities was an impossible dream.

He now understood that he couldn't maintain hundreds of universes when each required a massive amount of real celestial energy to function!

They weren't just simulations; they were actual realities!

Felix had learned that celestial energy was a finite resource. He couldn't create it; it was produced by the Great Order and dispersed throughout the Multiversal Plane for all to use.

The cosmic games weren't just for rank; the steps on the staircase represented the actual amount of celestial energy a universe possessed, which formed its protective barrier.

In short, the lower a universe sat on the Blessed Staircase, the thinner its protection and the less energy it had.

If a universe ran out of this celestial shield, it would drift away from the Multiversal Plane and into the Blighted Grounds.

Therefore, trying to revive those lost universes would only jeopardize the original timeline and eventually lead to the destruction of the revived ones as well.

"What if you formed a specific realm, a paradise of sorts, for their souls?" Asna proposed. "It would require far less celestial energy, and they could live in peace and happiness, far beyond what they experienced before."

"It doesn't erase the fact that I took their lives," Felix replied, shaking his head. "I'll find a proper solution later. They deserve that much."

"Hahaha! The other Supremes are going to be absolutely stunned when they meet you," Kronos laughed.

"I agree," Asna added with a giggle, realizing that Felix was far too compassionate for a typical Supreme. Despite the horrors he had seen and the power he now held over his own psyche, he remained human at his core.

He was the consciousness of the universe and a Supreme, but he was still a man. This set him apart from the other Supremes, who were born as the natural consciousness of their realms rather than ascending to the role.

"Time will tell," Felix said with a soft laugh. "For now, let’s leave this place and go home. Our sons are waiting."

"Niiikooo! Nimo! I can't wait to see my boys again."

Asna fought back tears, thinking of the time she had lost with them, especially Niko.

Though she tried to spend time with him between resets, the constant need to leave him always caused her immense pain.

This pain was so deep that she had subconsciously named her other son Nimo, a testament to her maternal bond.

"We're bringing him an older brother; he’ll be thrilled," Felix said, smiling as he thought of Nimo. He was incredibly proud of the son who hadn't hesitated to sacrifice himself alongside the masters to help Felix reach the heart of the universe.

A father could ask for nothing more than a son willing to give everything for him, just as he would do the same in return.

"It looks like the moment has arrived," Kronos noted, pointing to the light filtering through the shattered roof of the hall.

Facing the dawn, Felix and Asna held hands and shared a smile, their bond having survived the collapse of hundreds of worlds.

As they stood together, Asna transferred her celestial core to Felix. He accepted it with grace, placing it near his heart.

Then, Felix called out, "Elder Hades, I know you’ve been observing. I require my core."

A spiritual rift tore open, and Lord Hades emerged, surrounded by his signature aura of death.

Upon his arrival, Lord Hades immediately dropped to one knee. "Hades, reporting for duty."

Without a word of protest, he extracted his unigin heart and presented it to Felix, his face remaining impassive.

"Always a follower of the path," Felix chuckled, knowing Hades felt no resentment about losing his heart.

In Hades' mind, he had fulfilled his role as the protector of the Spirit Realm, guarding the lost. Now that the true consciousness had risen, his watch was over.

He was the quintessential Unigin, a true sentinel.

"Elder Hades, I will require someone to oversee the souls in my universe," Felix said kindly, helping Hades to his feet. "Your work has been flawless."

Lord Hades paused, then gave a stiff nod. "As you command, my Lord."

"Tsk, I did all the work and you get a free pass to the original timeline? Where’s my gratitude, Hadey?" Kronos joked.

"If I hadn't permitted you to look through my spirit realm, you never would have identified my lord as the variant," Lord Hades retorted with a smirk. "I knew you were plotting, I just didn't realize the scale of it."

"Hahahah! There’s no arguing with you," Kronos laughed, taking no offense.

"You two can settle this later. Is everyone ready?"

Hearing the urgency in Asna’s voice, they knew she was desperate to see her children.

Felix immediately took the unigin cores he had gathered and fused them with his human heart. This process birthed the final, hidden celestial heart: The Elemental Heart!

Eris’s theory had been correct. Felix had devised a way to conceal the Elemental Heart within himself after the three rulers had used it against him in a previous timeline.

Though his heart was once mortal, the combined power of the unigin cores caused it to ascend, finally completing the Trial of Ascension!

Clap! Clap! Clap! Clap!...

The universe itself seemed to erupt in thunderous applause, a final tribute to Felix’s achievement.

In reality, these sounds were the fabric of space cracking and failing as the universe began its final collapse.

Felix had gathered the souls of all who remained in this universe, or what was left after Loki’s interference.

One thing Felix hadn't foreseen was Loki forcing Queen Ai to ascend into a celestial through pure data—a move that had stunned him and ultimately saved him from needing another reset.

He had meticulously analyzed every past error, desperate for this universe to be the final one.

He thought back to the difficult choices he made—splitting Asna’s soul to create Lilith, hiding the Stone of Reality in the quantum realm where the rulers couldn't reach it, and using Lilith to guide his own path toward becoming a unigin.

Countless adjustments, both major and minor, had been necessary to bring him to this moment, watching the final collapse.

"Shall we?"

Sharing a grin with Asna and a nod with his allies, Felix transformed everyone into particles. They vanished instantly, leaving the dying universe to finish its descent into nothingness.

As the universe expanded into the silent void of the galaxy, if one were to look from afar, they would see the dying stars shifting into a specific pattern.

It was a Star Code that only Felix and Kronos—or the truly curious—could decipher.

As the galaxy faded into the dark, the message remained:

- .... . .-. . / .. ... / -. --- / .-. . .-- .- .-. -.. / .. -. / .--. . .-. ..-. . -.-. - .. --- -. --..-- / --- -. .-.. -.-- / - .... . / ... ..- .-. .-. . -. -.. . .-. / --- ..-. / -... . -.-. --- -- .. -. --. .-.-.-

THE END.
