Serey reflects on his past and his connection to Olivia, seeing her as Aisha's gift and his tie to the world. He decides to hold off the Night King, urging Bologue and the others to go destroy the Dark Iron Curtain. Serey sacrifices his blood, which incites a furious reaction from the Night Race and the undead. He dons his Immortal Armor and prepares to face the Night King.

The Ether roared and surged, the ancient power of the Seeker of Glory erupted from within Serey. It had been so long since he had exerted himself like this. As the abundant energy filled his body, a distant familiarity arose in Serey’s mind.

As if reliving the past, Serey stood once more atop the Royal City, once again facing his father as a traitor.

"It’s been a long time."

Serey whispered softly, the silent Alchemy Matrix roared to life, like turning gears, further enhancing the power of the Immortal Armor.

This Immortal Armor had long been on the brink of shattering during the Dawn War, nearly reduced to a heap of scrap metal, just like many people and things during the war, returned to the dust of oblivion.

At that time, Serey didn’t hold much attachment to it. He thought the Dawn War would be his last battle, and thus, believed he no longer needed this Immortal Armor. Throughout the long years, Serey had simply forgotten his armor.

Serey was too naive. Despite experiencing so much, he never truly understood that the so-called war is never-ending. As long as wills clash, war will return like a curse, ever-present.

Fortunately, Sai Zong retrieved Serey’s shattered armor, and over time, reforged and engraved it, shaping it into a vessel that transcended time.

Serey couldn’t help but sigh, "It’s like a cruel prophecy."

Sai Zong foresaw Serey’s fate. He knew that sooner or later, Serey would don this armor again. As an envoy of war, he maintained the armor for Serey, until the day it saw the light again.

The prophecy became reality.

The Scale Armor seemed to possess life force, layering upon Serey’s body like a massive school of fish or interlocking teeth. The radiant light flowed through the seams, like molten gold, merging with Serey’s Alchemy Matrix in constant change.

In this moment, the Alchemy Matrix overcame the limits of soul and flesh, merged with the external Immortal Armor, achieving further expansion. Thus, Serey’s strength was fully amplified, transcending the barriers of time for complete liberation.

The billowing Ether suddenly stagnated in midair, as if an illusion, these brilliant white forces became covered with a blood-red hue, dissipating into vast crimson mists that engulfed most of the Butcher’s Pit, covering both friend and foe alike.

Serey took a deep breath, stepped forward, the crimson mist condensing at his feet, solidifying into scarlet crystals, forming a staircase to the final battle.

"Come on!"

Serey shouted loudly towards the rising Dark Void, his voice swept across the battlefield like a wild wind, where it passed, the crimson mist rolled wantonly, scorching like lava, ravaging like a storm.

The Alchemy Matrix activated the Secret Energy, which in turn controlled the Ether, pouring this inexhaustible power into the Secret Source, which in exchange, endowed Serey with the power to warp reality.

Instantly, the boiling blood mist rapidly compressed and coalesced into massive scarlet crystals, emerging like colossal swords from nowhere, rising from the ground, severing, tearing, or sealing enemies into the scarlet crystals along the way.

This scene was awe-inspiring yet terrifying, those massive crystals seemed like weapons from Hell, answering Serey’s call, bursting forth from the earth.

Night Race struggled to escape from the crystalline cluster, which flickered with eerie glow, possessed a bizarre yet formidable life force, akin to some virulent pathogen, irresistible.

The dense blood mist, with a nauseatingly sweet scent, permeated the air, spreading like a plague, thick and viscous, ghostly in the dark night, cold and sly.

"Ah... ah..."

Hurtful gasps constantly rang from the Night Race’s throat, his wounds seemed cursed by sinister power, large chunks of crystals protruding from within his body, like living entities, breaking through his skin, snapping his bones, each emergence of a crystal was an intense agony.

Amidst the torturous ordeal, waves of mournful cries arose, clearly, more than just one Night Race suffered such torment, all life enveloped by the blood mist would face this harsh punishment.

Soon, the Night Race could no longer run, his joints filled with crystals, ligaments and tendons riddled with wounds, more crystals emerged, his body becoming increasingly heavy, while his blood swiftly evaporated, seemingly nourishing these scarlet crystals.

In mere seconds, the Night Race’s body swelled grotesquely from these rampant crystals, his body torn apart by this internally growing blade.

The Night Race’s eyes were filled with terror and reluctance, watching as his body distorted under the crystal’s encroachment, watching as his life force was devoured bit by bit. He wanted to struggle, to resist, but the next moment, scarlet crystals pierced his eyes, occupying his eye sockets, blossoming into crystalline bloody flowers.

At this moment, the scarlet crystals completely claimed the Night Race’s body, devouring his last glimpse of life. His crystallized body collapsed with a crisp sound, shattering into resplendent crystalline shards on the ground.
