Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100 Chapter 2070 Getting Information!

The entire day passed in silence.
The next morning, the stone door of the cultivation chamber slid open, and Max stepped out with a satisfied look on his face.
He hadn't broken through to the 2nd level of the Law Manifestation Realm, yet his aura was noticeably steadier than before. The law power surrounding him had grown more condensed, and the gap between him and the next level had narrowed a great deal.
"I haven't reached the 2nd level yet, but I'm very close," Max murmured to himself. "It's only a matter of time now."
After a full day inside the chamber, he finally understood why people were willing to hand over hundreds of Bronze Marks for these facilities. The effect wasn't exaggerated at all, but it was steady and efficient, and it beat cultivating in an ordinary room by a wide margin.
More than that, the chamber let him refine his energy without a single distraction from outside. In a place like Bloodstone City, where danger, competition, and the constant flow of information pressed down on everyone, that kind of quiet was genuinely worth paying for.
When Max came back to the side hall, Damian and Revona were already there, and Anna showed up shortly after.
The moment she saw Max, her eyes swept over him, and a faint flicker of surprise crossed her face.
"Did you cultivate yesterday?" she asked.
Max nodded. "I rented a cultivation chamber for the day."
Anna studied him for a second, then nodded with approval. "Good. At least you know how to spend marks on something worthwhile."
Max smiled faintly. "You sound surprised."
"I am," Anna admitted. "After yesterday, I half expected you to charge off toward the Ten Shadows Trial without even sleeping."
Max laughed lightly.
After a moment, she sighed and waved a hand. "Never mind. Let's get moving. We need a proper report on the Ten Shadows Trial before any of you decide anything."
The four of them left the Primordial mansion together.
Bloodstone City was already busy. The dark red streets were packed with participants from every race, and they moved between shops, halls, inns, training chambers, weapon stores, and exchange buildings.
Glowing signs drifted above the rooftops, and the crowds beneath them flowed like the currents of a dangerous river. Compared with the day before, though, the attention fixed on Max's group had clearly grown.
Whispers started trailing them almost immediately.
"That's him."
"He's the Primordial from the Law Manifestation Realm."
"His name is Max Voidwalker."
"He beat Greyjin with a single finger."
"No, he blocked Greyjin's full-powered attack first, and then destroyed him with a flick."
Max heard all of it, but he didn't react.
The group didn't stay long inside the Information Hall.
With Anna guiding them, Max, Damian, and Revona bought a detailed report on the Ten Shadows Trial. The package was far more thorough than the basic explanation Anna had given them earlier, since it covered the trial's current location, the entry fee, the restrictions placed on participants, the known dangers in the surrounding region, and several records left behind by previous challengers.
Once they had everything they needed, the four of them quietly left the hall and returned to the Primordial mansion.
Not long afterward, Max, Damian, and Revona gathered around a table with Anna while the purchased information hovered in front of them as a translucent screen.
Max read through the contents slowly, and the first few sections held nothing he hadn't expected.
The entrance fee was one hundred Bronze Marks, and participants weren't allowed to hold a Gold Mark or anything above it. There were clear limits on cultivation as well.
"You have to be at the 3rd level of the Divine Lord Realm or below to enter the Ten Shadows Trial," Max read aloud. "Anyone above the 3rd level is rejected automatically."
Damian gave a small nod. "That makes sense."
Revona looked over the information too. "Since it's built for newcomers, the whole thing would lose its purpose if stronger Divine Lord Realm cultivators could walk in and crush everything with sheer cultivation."
Max agreed with her.
The restriction was reasonable enough. Most geniuses who entered the Godslayer's Pilgrimage had either just stepped into the Divine Lord Realm or sat somewhere in its early levels. The Ten Shadows Trial was clearly meant to measure the talent, combat ability, foundation, and potential of these newcomers before they became established participants of the outer layer.
Max kept reading.
The report described the ten shadows as opponents who grew progressively stronger. Each shadow was shaped around the challenger, which meant there was no single fixed level of difficulty. Two people at the same cultivation could enter and face completely different challenges depending on their foundation, abilities, combat record, and hidden strength.
The further someone progressed, the better the rewards became. Clearing only a handful of shadows could already earn ordinary cultivation resources, while clearing the middle shadows could bring rare treasures and inheritance techniques. The most valuable rewards, including Cosmic Fragments, were concentrated near the final stages.
Naturally, Max's interest settled on that part.
After reading for a while longer, he suddenly looked away from the screen and turned to Anna.
"How many shadows did you clear?"
Damian and Revona glanced over at once, since both of them had been wondering the same thing.
Anna answered without hesitating. "Eight."
Max blinked. "Only eight?"
The moment those words left his mouth, the room went quiet.
Anna slowly turned her head toward him. Her expression barely changed at first, but her eyes definitely did. Something dangerous had appeared in them, and Max suddenly got the distinct feeling that he had picked the wrong word.
Damian lowered his gaze, and Revona pressed her lips together. Neither of them looked willing to rescue him.
Max stared at Anna for another moment before his mistake finally caught up with him.
"What I meant was that eight sounds lower than I would have expected from you," he explained.
"That isn't any better," Anna replied.
Max wisely said nothing.
Anna took a slow breath and leaned back in her seat. "You still have no idea how hard this trial actually is. You heard there are ten shadows, so somewhere in your head you've already decided that clearing eight means someone failed two stages short of the end."
Max didn't bother denying it
