Rafael was enjoying a special moment with Fisher in the hot spring, where he was cleaning her scales and they were discussing their unborn child. Despite her initial plan to rest, Rafael initiated intimacy with Fisher, pulling him close. Just as their romantic interlude was about to escalate, the sound of a door opening interrupted them, and a cautious voice called out for Fisher.

"Mr. Fisher?"

Through the hazy mist, Moli’s cautious little voice drifted over from afar, making both Fisher and Rafael, who was pressed up against him, stiffen slightly as they looked in that direction—yet at the exact same moment, neither of them dared to say a word.

"..."

After spacing out for a second or two, Fisher was the first to react. He had just opened his mouth when Rafael in front of him clamped down hard on his lips, snuffing out every word in his throat.

Fisher hurriedly turned his head toward her, only to see her anxiously raise a finger to her own lips, signaling him with her eyes to keep quiet.

"Don’t talk."

"..."

Fisher looked at her innocently, his body temporarily frozen in place, simply staying like that and quietly listening together with Rafael to the faint sounds at the entrance and the noise coming from Moli.

"Huh, did he already finish bathing? That was so fast..."

Moli’s puzzled voice came over, making Rafael secretly breathe a small sigh of relief. But the very next second, Moli’s voice sounded again,

"No, that’s not right, the changing room door’s still open, and there are still clothes in the basket... did he fall asleep in there or something?"

Changing room?

What changing room?

Fisher blinked and turned to look at Rafael, and she too widened her eyes and glanced down at the white bath towel floating on the surface of the water, instantly realizing that the one who had just opened the changing room to grab a towel had been her.

It was just that Moli seemed to think it was the changing room Fisher had used and never checked whose clothes were actually in that basket...

Great, she’d just shot herself in the foot.

"Mr. Fisher? Mr. Fisher, where are you? I’m here..."

Fisher looked at Rafael, using a simple mix of expressions and eye contact to convey his thoughts.

"What do we do?"

"..."

He glanced up in that direction, then gently removed her paw that was covering his lips, meaning:

"Why don’t we just let her come over?"

"No way!!"

Rafael thought for a moment, and her face instantly turned bright red. This time she forcefully reached out with both hands to cover his lips again, clearly rejecting the idea.

She had literally just said everyone should go back to rest today, and it hadn’t been easy getting Moli to agree. Yet she’d still snuck over here for a little taste... Even if Moli also sneaked over afterwards, if she actually caught them like this, Rafael really wouldn’t know where to put her face.

She already had a little baby, doing something like this... was just way too wanton.

But this wouldn’t do, and that wouldn’t do either. Moli’s calls still tolled through the hot spring like a death knell, as if she was absolutely certain Fisher hadn’t left and had simply dozed off in some unknown pool from exhaustion.

And this was precisely when a cute, endlessly needy Whale-man like her should be here to comfort him.

"Then what do we do?"

Fisher silently looked at Rafael, asking her for a way out. Rafael pressed her lips together, still clinging to Fisher as she whispered to him in a very tiny voice,

"Hurry and get Moli to leave..."

"How am I supposed to get her to leave?"

"Ugh, you... you just... think of some excuse, or I... I’m seriously going to die of embarrassment!"

"..."

Looking at Rafael’s pitiful, completely flushed face, Fisher also had to start thinking about the consequences afterward.

Even though, after the visual shock of what he’d seen on the Keken Ship during the day, he might actually have developed some sort of fantasy about that so-called "blessed with two women" scenario, when he thought it through carefully, he still decided not to put Rafael in a difficult spot.

Fine—for Rafael’s mental health, Fisher decided to rein in his desires and help her get through this crisis.

Fisher nodded, thought for a moment, then lightly slapped the surface of the water, before suddenly speaking up in a very drowsy tone,

"Moli?"

"Mr. Fisher, did you fall asleep?"

The voice was still quite a ways off; she was probably searching along the outer edge, having no idea Fisher had come straight to the middle to bathe.

"Yeah, I relaxed a little too much and accidentally nodded off. Why did you come here? Or are you here to take a bath too?"

"Ah? I..." Moli hesitated for a moment, then said a bit shyly, "Yeah, I... I came to bathe too, Mr. Fisher. What a coincidence, hehe..."

"..."

Why are you all using the exact same excuse?

Fisher gave the Rafael in his arms a helpless look, and she shamefacedly reached out a paw to push his face, urging him to hurry up and tell Moli to leave. He had no choice but to speak again,

"I’m almost done here anyway—I was just about to head out."

"Huh, can’t you stay a bit longer? I... I’m coming over now!"

"Splash..."

Rafael angrily reached over to pinch his waist, apparently blaming him for doing a bad job and actually luring the enemy in. But what could Fisher do—was he supposed to just straight-up tell her to get lost? Wouldn’t that be even weirder and make her suspicious?

"Wait, Moli, can you help me grab a bath towel from the changing room first?"

"Huh?" Moli’s approaching footsteps stopped where she stood, then he heard her say, "Okay. I’ll also go change my clothes while I’m there. Just wait a bit, Mr. Fisher."

After that came the sound of her walking toward the changing room. Once the changing room door closed and some rustling noises drifted out from inside, Fisher looked back at Rafael again and said quietly,

"This is a good chance. While she’s in the changing room and hasn’t noticed yet, you should go."
