What will happen with Garrett's weakened plague strain?
Previously on A Hospital in Another World?...
Garrett meditated, using his oak staff to access the Plague Maiden's memories. He discovered her method of controlling plagues, which involved blessing the devout with mild immunity while punishing dissenters. He realized this could function as a vaccine but was troubled by the potential for severe cases. Garrett then experimented with using his own divine magic, attempting to weaken a virus strain, but initially failed. After much self-hypnosis and repeated trials, he managed to significantly reduce the severe case rate in mice, initiating a process of continuous mutation and selection to create a weakened strain.
