After being given a durable dragon scale shield, Yame is terrified by a demonstration of Kuudel's spear-throwing skills and faints. When she later awakens and sees Bulga, she faints again, revealing a strange history where Yame's immortality led her to self-seal to avoid a persistent human general. Bulga explains Yame's peculiar reactions to her and a few others are due to her personality, not animosity.
