How will Garrett overcome the limitations of the Plague Spell?
Previously on A Hospital in Another World?...
Cirilla complains about Garrett isolating himself in the lab. Garrett attempts to use his "Plague Spell" to create an attenuated vaccine for yellow fever by infecting mice with weakened serum. However, he learns from Archmage Haines that the Plague Spell cannot be modified to weaken viruses, only to cause immediate sickness. Garrett realizes he cannot control viruses in the same way he can control bacteria and wonders how to proceed with developing a vaccine.
