Right after Du Beiye issued the command, the earth trembled briefly then steadied itself. Because the system handled it, the ground didn't sink as it had when her sister gathered the underground tank.

Once finished there, she headed straight to the minimart.

The mutants inside the minimart jumped in surprise upon spotting the entering group. These were the first humans they'd encountered since reaching the Second Colony.

Noting the pristine and tidy attire of the newcomers, the mutants sensed their threat level. Wisely, they remained still and silent.

The team members scanned the shelves, discovering that merely a few supplies had been removed. With most items still safe to consume, they grabbed some food and water, then settled at the counter seats.

As Du Beiye entered, she faced the mutants and inquired, "Aren't you going to get some food or water?"

A brief pause followed before they understood the small girl addressed them. "No, we can't eat them," responded a young woman.

"Then, I will take them all. You don't have a problem with that, right?" Du Beiye pressed.

"No problem."

"Thanks."

With one sweep of her hand, she vanished everything—including the shelves—into her system's warehouse. Those shelves would prove handy for the Phantom Team's store.

After clearing that out, she inspected the back room, claiming the remaining supplies. Then she rejoined her team and examined her satellite phone.

Reading her sister's message, she announced, "Brother Yuan, my sister said that she and the Captain will come here and asked us to wait for them."

"Did your sister say how long we have to wait?" Yuan Ruiyue inquired.

"At most, five hours."

"Okay."

As they awaited, Jiao Lizhi and Jin Xuyan at last breached the underground cave. It brimmed with Sthanam crystals.

This mine was tinier than the one in Lunar City, yet its crystals clustered more thickly with deeper hues.

Jin Xuyan gazed at her and questioned, "Ah Zhi, are you sure you will be fine?"

Jiao Lizhi nodded, assuring him, "Brother Yan, don't worry. Gaia already ran a simulation. The possibility of me losing consciousness is only 3%."

Upon hearing that, he agreed with a nod, "I will stay here and guard you."

"Okay."

Jiao Lizhi chose not to push him into her space. Following their short exchange, she lifted her hand and commanded, "Collect."

Instantly, the cave quaked for a second as every crystal vanished in a flash. As they materialized on her space's grassland, Jiao Lizhi's sight blackened momentarily.

Noticing her unsteadiness, Jin Xuyan steadied her with his arms. "Ah Zhi, are you okay?" Worry colored his tone.

Jiao Lizhi kept her eyes shut for a whole minute until she regained composure. "Brother Yan, I'm fine."

Eying her ashen complexion, he suggested, "Ah Zhi, let's go to your space first."

"Mhmm."

She agreed with a nod, pulling him into the space. Together, they headed to the master bedroom. As Jiao Lizhi rested on the couch, Jin Xuyan retrieved hot water in a basin along with a towel.

He assisted in removing her clothes, gently cleaned her body, then dressed her in fresh attire. Guiding her to the bed, she whispered, "Brother Yan, I will only take a short nap."

"Go sleep, I will stay with you," he replied with a nod.

Her brief nap stretched beyond three hours. Upon awakening, Jiao Lizhi felt invigorated. After splashing water on her face, she descended to find her fiancé crafting fruit smoothies busily.

Approaching the kitchen, she wondered, "Brother Yan, why did you make so many smoothies?"

"It will be summer soon, so I prepared some for you." Finishing his words, Jin Xuyan faced his fiancée and probed, "You don't like smoothies?"

"I like it. Thank you," she affirmed, nodding before kissing him.

Collaborating efficiently, they wrapped up in thirty minutes. Jiao Lizhi sealed the smoothies in a large glass jar. Thanks to the space's preservation, spoilage wasn't a concern.

Finishing up, they donned fresh outfits and exited the space. Emerging outside, Jiao Lizhi triggered the space portal, warping to her sister's specified spot.

Within five seconds, they materialized beside the road in the northern border zone. Glancing at the mini map, Jiao Lizhi noted, "Brother Yan, my sister and our members are staying in that gas station."

Jin Xuyan nodded, declaring, "Let's go."

The area, already swept clean by the team, allowed their swift advance. Fifteen minutes on, they entered the gas station, reuniting with the group.

Stepping into the minimart, Du Beiye grinned and declared, "They are here."

The sun had already sunk below the horizon, with the crimson moon rising gradually. The minimart lacked electricity, leaving the room lit solely by the eerie red moonlight.

Spotting the arrival of two extra individuals, the mutants fixed wary stares upon them. Jin Xuyan cast them a single glance before dismissing them completely. They were far too feeble to draw his interest.

Noticing their approach, Yuan Ruiyue got to her feet and welcomed them, "Captain, Sister-in-law."

Jin Xuyan nodded in response and settled down. His eyes scanned the group, pausing on the two unfamiliar faces. "Rest for tonight. Tomorrow, Ah Zhi and I will send them back first to the Lin'an City Base before we regroup with our members."

"Understood," the members nodded.

At these words, Wen Hanyu lifted his hand and inquired, "Excuse me. Comrade, can I ask something?"
