The three Magic Rabbits reveal the rules of the Land of Mirrors, explaining that each of the three hounds—Leila, Fenrir, and Carlos—has created a unique challenge. These challenges are designed to test challengers' ability to see through illusions and find the true essence. Ron, Aselia, and Nari decide to begin their trials in the Crystal Forest, the location of Leila's Whispering Labyrinth.

"I don’t like this feeling, it’s like being watched by countless eyes."

The deeper they went into the forest, the clearer the whispers in the air became.

Those voices were as delicate and thin as silk, sometimes sweet, sometimes sorrowful, sometimes full of temptation:

"Come back, child..."

"You’ll never obtain true love..."

"Everyone will betray you..."

"Power, only power is eternal..."

Ron forced himself not to listen to the specific content of those voices, focusing on the path ahead.

But he noticed that both Nari and Aselia’s expressions had turned somewhat unnatural.

Obviously, they had also heard the whispers aimed at them.

Finally, the legendary singing arch appeared before them.

This arch was constructed from countless mirrors of different sizes, each slowly rotating.

The most amazing thing was that these mirrors were indeed "singing."

"? Come, come, see your true self ?

? All secrets are hidden in the mirrors ?

? Don’t be afraid, don’t escape ?

? The truth will set you free ?"

"Are you ready?" Ron took a deep breath.

"No matter what’s inside, we’re together."

Nari said resolutely, gripping Ron’s arm with all four hands.

"Hmph, just an illusion technique."

Aselia huffed arrogantly, but her small hands clung tightly to Ron’s clothes.

The moment the three of them passed through the arch, the world spun again.

When their vision cleared, they found themselves standing in an awe-inspiring palace of mirrors.

The walls, the floor, the ceiling, and even the air itself were composed of countless mirrors.

Some of these mirrors were as large as gates, others as small as coins, some were flat like a lake’s surface, others distorted like funhouse mirrors.

They layered and overlapped, reflecting each other to create endless corridors of reflection.

These mirrors were all "alive."

They breathed—their surfaces subtly rising and falling like the chest of a living creature;

They blinked—occasionally flashing like giant eyelids;

They even wept—occasionally a silver droplet would slide down the mirror’s surface.

The air was filled with a strange scent, sweet with a hint of decay, like flowers blooming in a graveyard.

More eerie were the omnipresent whispers.

They were no longer the vague background noise but clear whispers as if spoken right next to one’s ear:

"Look, look at your true self..."

"The truth you’ve been avoiding..."

"All masks will be torn away..."

As the three tried hard to adapt to this surreal environment, a slightly magnetic female voice came from the depths of the labyrinth: "Welcome to the Hall of Memories, lost travelers."

The owner of the voice slowly appeared before them—a tall figure clad in a gray robe.

Her face was completely blank, like an unpainted canvas.

When she spoke, that blank "face" would briefly display various expressions.

Sometimes it was a kind old lady, sometimes a beautiful young girl, sometimes even the face of someone Ron knew.

"I am the Keeper of this library."

Her voice was consistently gentle and polite:

"You can call me Leila. My duty is to help visitors find the ’collection’ they truly need."

She made a graceful bow, her actions as standard as royal etiquette:

"Here, every mirror is a precious book, recording the most genuine stories deep within the soul."

Nari instinctively pulled her cloak tighter, but Aselia directly questioned:

"You are the hunting hound. Stop pretending to be so cultured, just state your demands."

"Hunting hound?"

A confused expression floated across Leila’s blank face:

"I think you misunderstand something, young lady. I am merely the guardian of this temple of knowledge, dedicated to aiding every visitor seeking truth."

She turned to Ron: "The ’Key’ you seek is hidden somewhere in this maze.

But before you search, I must remind you, each mirror here has its reason for being.

Some reflect truth, some reflect falsehood, some reflect possibility, and some reflect terrifying truths that should never exist."

Her voice became softer, like a storyteller before bedtime:

"Never attempt to forcibly destroy any mirror.

They are all alive, with their emotions and memories. Hurting them is like hurting the memories themselves."

At this moment, a subtle distortion appeared in the air.

Some almost invisible, translucent creatures began wandering between the mirrors.

Their forms were extremely bizarre, covered in numerous distorted human faces.

These faces included men and women, old and young, but all bore the same hollow expression.

"Memory scavengers," Aselia softly reminded from Ron’s embrace:

"They feed on memories, especially those fragments accompanied by strong emotions."

Leila seemed not to have heard this and continued speaking gently:

"Please don’t worry about those little creatures. They are merely scavengers of memory, specially handling expired, corrupt, and useless emotional waste.

Their presence keeps this library in a healthy state."

She made an inviting gesture:

"Now, let’s begin the treasure hunt.

What you’re seeking is a segment of ’untwisted true emotion.’

In this memory labyrinth, only by finding the mirror containing such emotion can you obtain the key to the next level."
