Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method Chapter 2809: 574: Please, Baby, Kill! Battle Level-10 Again!

"Regardless of what you claim, this remains my justification."
Seeking refuge behind Edmund, the Snake of the End felt a profound sense of security, its heart nearly weeping with relief. It was now certain that aligning with Nora had been the correct path.
Edmund was truly a man one could depend on!
Brothers, you are magnificent!
Had this been the Nightmare World, the snake realized it likely would have been traded away long ago in exchange for some transcendent treasure.
At last, this wandering soul had discovered a sanctuary to put its spirit at ease.
Observing Edmund’s stoic lack of concern, the Holy Mother realized she had to deploy her final gambit.
"Mr. Edmund, the current state of Nora is quite precarious. The Abyss watches like a hungry tiger, while the Nightmare pursues you like a prowling wolf. To be perfectly honest, it is uncertain if your twenty-odd level-10 entities can even survive this disaster. I have no wish to turn against Nora, but if you persist in protecting a being so steeped in sin, you provoke the majesty of God and make an enemy of the astral world. That would be most unwise."
Though she maintained a smile, a bone-chilling coldness permeated her speech.
Levi felt a surge of internal mockery.
This was a familiar sensation; it reminded him of his days as the Black Water Lord, when the Church of Holy Light would use similar rhetoric to threaten him.
Given his current personality, if he possessed Edmund’s level of Cultivation, he might have already cast the Sun out. Yet, considering Edmund's position, such an action was unlikely.
Edmund smiled and responded:
"I also hold no desire to oppose the astral world. In fact, we have strictly adhered to the covenant established between the ancestor of wizards and Sauron. If we hadn't, we would have abandoned this sub-dimensional portal ages ago, would we not?"
The name Sauron was truly the ultimate trump card for a wizard!
The Holy Mother’s brow furrowed slightly as she weighed the risks and rewards.
A physical confrontation was out of the question. She had arrived unaccompanied, without even summoning a Subordinate God, intending only to negotiate. Furthermore, she lacked the strength to defeat so many opponents at once.
While the destruction of an incarnation would not result in her fall, it would drain a massive portion of the divine power she had spent eons accumulating. Gods do not act recklessly.
"Very well, very well. Since you feel this way, I hope Mr. Edmund does not come to regret this day's choice. I shall be watching you from high within the astral world."
The divine manifestation of the Holy Mother slowly dissolved, and the celestial staircase faded into nothingness.
The Snake of the End exhaled a long breath, its heart racing with excitement.
Damn, having power really makes one a boss. I haven't seen those bastards suffer like that in ages; it feels incredible!
It felt even more satisfied with the choice it had made back then.
"President Edmund, I thank you and everyone else for the assistance. It is true that I consumed tens of billions of the Father and Holy Mother's devotees, and I even slew the children of those two deities, but I was cornered and forced to do so for my own survival. I have always lived on the edge because of my natural gifts; why would I go out of my way to provoke others?"
Edmund offered a smile and said:
"There is no need to explain yourself. Your history does not concern us. We only require one thing: that we maintain a united front until Nora has endured this great tribulation. Once that is over, whether you choose to remain or depart, we shall not stop you."
The Snake of the End nodded fervently.
"Understood, that is no problem at all!"
...
Within the Astral World.
Behind the Gate of Radiance upon the Arrogant Sun Plateau.
The Heavenly Father’s expression was icy, his divine power churning like a violent gale.
The Dawn Goddess remarked:
"Father, this Edmund is becoming increasingly insolent. Despite the Mother Goddess’s sincerity, he refused to back down. That group clearly has no respect for our astral world."
"Nora is currently experiencing a peak in its destiny. These individuals are brimming with confidence regarding their future. They are like cornered beasts with no escape, prepared to fight to the death against anyone who nears them, be they god or demon."
"Our astral world must take action. If Nora is permitted to flourish, it will hinder the spread of the Father God’s light. It is clear these people haven't changed. One day, they might follow in the footsteps of those old fools and revolt."
Ramont’s eyes shifted toward a figure mounted upon a massive bull.
"I have already set things in motion and am merely awaiting the opportune moment. We must act, regardless of the outcome; any action is superior to doing nothing."
...
The Land of Darkness.
A world of medium size.
This territory is the Belief Land of the Heavenly Father, where the inhabitants serve Artu, the Dusk Sun God. Inside a desert temple, a dark-skinned youth leaned against the statue of his deity while napping atop a black bull.
Recently, a battle had broken out again between Artu and Surgard. That opponent already wields peak-level 9 power. After the Sword of World Destruction consumed several planes, it became one of the top twenty treasures in the Pan-Plane, allowing him to escape once more.
Furthermore, Surgard had managed to wound Artu's Divine Body, causing a significant loss of divine power and forcing him into hiding here to mend his wounds.
Acting on the Father God’s command, a prophecy from the Great Prophet informed Artu that the Dusk Palace Master would eventually pass through this location. He had been waiting for two centuries, with only one hundred years remaining until the prophecy's window closed.
If the Dusk Palace Master does not appear within a hundred years, Artu will return to the astral world to finish his recovery. But if he does show himself... he must be executed!
In this existence, only one being may carry the name "Dusk."
That being is Artu!
For he is God!
...
The Nightmare World.
"Hurry, everyone must congregate."
In the lands belonging to the Black Dragon Lord, Nightmare Creatures were in the midst of a frantic migration. A massive legion flowed like a river toward the Sky Dome, passing through a shimmering seven-colored portal in the Void. This led to the Daydreamer’s Demiplane, known as [Imaginary Illusion].
Upon entering, the environment was surreal and strange, packed with various bizarre objects. The Tyrant of Horror and the other Nightmare Creatures found themselves filled with wonder.
