Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method Chapter 2789: 570: Ancient Secrets, Mythical Origins, The Insect Tribe’s Mystery!

Previously on Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method...
Levi uncovers a chilling connection between the Dark Insects and the Abyss, speculating that these destructive forces may have formed an alliance within the Land of Darkness. His investigation suggests that the insect invasion and the ongoing plane convergence are part of a grand, chaotic scheme orchestrated by Sauron to destabilize the existing cosmic balance. As Levi contemplates Nora’s rapid ascent and its role as a potential "Fifth Pole" in the multiverse, he is confronted with the overwhelming power of the Supreme Existences. Despite feeling small against the backdrop of these ancient interests, he remains determined to persist on his path of cultivation.

"What other choice do we have?"

Observing Levi's unwavering focus, the man displayed a rare sense of admiration. He was truly impressed by the extraordinary willpower and grit Levi possessed.

In truth, after watching Levi forge the path of knights, Heavenly Will had gained a rough understanding of where the missing Evolution Stone Plate vanished when Ultimate CreationKaz fell. He also realized that Sauron’s silence after reaching Level 11 wasn't due to cowardice or laziness; he was patiently biding his time for a much grander scheme. His travels through the Multidimensional Plane were likely preparations for this very plan.

Given the current circumstances, Heavenly Will felt a flicker of hope for the success of Nora’s path, though it remained slim.

His recent dialogue, including this personal visit to Levi, was intended to provide early warnings and mental preparation. It was vital that Levi did not misread the future, ensuring the barbarian tribes wouldn't follow Nora’s lead only to sink into complacency.

If they succeed, everyone prospers; if they fail, all is lost!

Finally, Levi turned his gaze toward the middle-aged man. Despite this being their inaugural meeting, he expressed his gratitude with great solemnity:

"I thank you, senior!"

"There is no need for such formality. My primary concern is the barbarian tribes. Since I foresee you becoming Nora’s successor, I wished to speak with you and build some rapport. Furthermore, if my memory serves... you have claimed Sauron’s Chaos Ancient Tower, also known as the Dark Ancient Tower, haven't you?"

"I have."

Levi made no attempt to hide it.

He knew that Heavenly Will must have spotted him within the Dark Ancient Tower. Back then, when the Winged Tiger Barbarian King utilized a secret technique to summon the Sky Eye and defeat the Supreme Archmage, Heavenly Will’s perception would have surely caught Levi nearby, even if he was only handling minor matters.

Moreover, Levi had used the Ancient Tower Scepter to call forth Sauron’s projection, unleashing Sauron’s Great Disintegration Technique against the Sky Eye’s power manifestation.

"Indeed. Rest easy, for I am a man of principle; I will not seize your treasures. The barbarian tribes Sauron took from me for his tower will remain with you; I won't demand their return. I only sought to clear my own doubts... though, should you ever decide to return those tribes to me, I would be deeply grateful and owe you a great favor."

Levi didn't give an immediate answer, instead replying:

"Please grant me time to weigh this, senior. Since it was Sauron’s property, any changes to the internal arrangements could have massive repercussions."

The man gave a nod of understanding.

If the barbarian tribes in the outside world truly faced extinction, those within the tower could serve as the seeds for a future rebirth. Through them, a being of faith like Heavenly Will could potentially use Sauron’s tower as a vessel for resurrection.

Thinking of the tower, a thought struck Levi. During the refining process Sauron undertook, wasn't the [Primordial Spark] the most critical component? Could that be a type of Primordial Spirit, or perhaps a fallen entity?

The Dark Ancient Tower’s true nature and grade might be far higher than he had suspected. The Fire Sovereign, who had refined half of a [Primordial Spark], was likely a Level 11 power as well. It had simply hidden its true strength, knowing that reaching Level 11 alone wouldn't change the ultimate outcome.

As the saying goes, the tallest tree in the forest is the first to be toppled by the wind.

Levi hosted Heavenly Will with great hospitality, engaging in a long conversation. The visitor's vast knowledge of history and the present greatly expanded Levi’s perspective. As they grew more comfortable with each other, Levi posed a question:

"Senior, there is a matter I hope you can clarify for me."

"Ask what you wish."

"Senior, the totem path you forged for the barbarian tribes is essentially a path of faith. This system allows the practitioners to draw upon the power of the giant beast totems and even your own strength.

If I wish to develop a Cultivation method that allows ordinary knights to tap into my power, how should I proceed? I have explored many avenues but have yet to find the answer."

The middle-aged man paused to think before answering:

"The only viable solution I can offer for such a dilemma is the power of faith. Currently, it is the most effective and direct way to transmit power to others."

"Faith? Through totems or becoming a god?"

"The specific path matters less than the faith itself. There are various forms of faith power; while the gods of the astral world follow the traditional route, my totem system is a more specialized approach. I have reached the pinnacle of that method. It is entirely possible for you to create a new branch with yourself as the origin. Of course, this is just my perspective; there may be other paths I am unaware of."

It was clear that Levi felt a natural aversion to the path of faith.

Levi then asked, "Senior, would it be possible to use faith as a secondary support system rather than the primary Cultivation path?"

"Certainly. The barbarian tribes focus mainly on faith while using combat techniques as a supplement. You could simply reverse that focus. However, I must warn you: once you begin the path of faith, reaching Level 11 will inevitably bring you face-to-face with that entity from the astral world.

I would advise caution... my own path serves as a warning. I reached the peak of Level 10 long ago, nearly touching Level 11. Yet, I dared not cross that line, for I know the terror that waits beyond the threshold."

Levi fell into deep thought.

His resistance to faith had softened, and he found the "Star God" model of the astral world quite intriguing. He wanted to build something similar.

However, he didn't want to be the one at the center of it, fearing interference from the astral entity or that it might clash with his other Cultivation paths.

After a moment of reflection, a spark of inspiration hit him:

"Senior, what if I set up someone else as the source of faith while I remain in the shadows? If I transmit my power to this 'Transfer Station' through other means, could I establish the power network I envision?"

In short, he wouldn't become a god; he would manufacture one.

The man smiled faintly and answered instantly:

"That is certainly possible. In fact, I have done something very similar."

The Beast God of the astral world was a Transfer Station he had once built, though he had discarded it as his own power increased.

This gave Levi the clarity he needed. He proceeded to ask Heavenly Will for specific technical advice regarding the mechanics of faith.

In his mind, the framework for the knight card system began to solidify. He was eager to put these theories to the test.

The pair conversed for an entire month. Elena, watching from afar, wondered who could possibly be keeping Levi so engaged for so long.

Eventually, Heavenly Will departed, returning to his temple above the Heaven Continent to continue his recovery.

This entity had regained much of his confidence. The top priority for the barbarian tribes now was to raise a Dragon God Barbarian Lord, which would strengthen their influence and allow his own power to return to its peak.

Meanwhile, Levi did not return to the Ancient Banyan Fairyland. He headed into the Six Holy Heavens, balancing his breathing technique practice and his study of Holy Realm Power with the constant experimentation of his new theories.
