Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method Chapter 2787: 570: Ancient Times, Mythical Origin, Secrets of the Insects!
Previously on Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method...
I suspect the Blood Dark Dragon King perished in that exact way during the ancient Double Dragons War; after all, I have identified its tracks among various Dragon Clans in subsequent eras. Many Mythical Creatures followed this example afterward, which led to the emergence of... Legendary Creatures.
The Dragon Clan serves as the most quintessential example of this phenomenon.
Legendary Dragon Clans can undergo continuous degradation, eventually transforming into sub-dragons and mixed-blood dragon clans. As a guide on the path of knights, you ought to be able to perceive this, whether through your cultivation or during a tribulation.
The entity known as the [Blood Tribulation Master] is merely a brand triggered within one's bloodline. I have long considered bloodlines to be mystical; while many view them as mere subordinates to transcendent beings, I believe that perspective is flawed.
It requires a reverse way of thinking... in truth, everything from common transcendent creatures to Mythical Creatures are simply instruments for bloodline inheritance. [Bloodline] itself acts as a power of transformation and circulation.
Whether they undergo a split or a consolidation, they are ultimately just manifestations of the bloodline at various phases. I occasionally even wonder if [Bloodline] might be an unconventional form of life—a [Primordial Spirit] concealed within countless living forms?
Levi wore a pensive expression, thinking that the man's imagination was truly vast. Nevertheless, considering the vastness of the universe and this individual's profound realm and knowledge, such a hypothesis was certainly plausible. After all, the [Evolution Stone Plate] had been verified successfully in later times.
Levi inquired:
"Why would the gods of the astral world utilize the [Evolution Stone Plate] to block the path of bloodline evolution for ordinary beings? Wouldn't it be better if more ordinary creatures participated in evolution, causing the [Bloodline] to become even more fragmented and chaotic? That way, the powerful Mythical Creatures of the past would find it nearly impossible to return in any form."
The man shrugged, appearing equally perplexed:
"How could I possibly know the thoughts of those individuals? The circumstances within the astral world are far more intricate than we previously imagined.
However, my guess is that through the constant cycle of splitting and recombining, the [Bloodline] actually grows more powerful. This is because every individual split body absorbs different types of energy, which in turn fuels the growth of the bloodline.
If the bloodline were to recombine one day after countless instances of splitting and growing, its might would surely surpass that of its initial stage.
Generally speaking, the reason powerful Level 11 beings have repeatedly targeted the astral world since ancient times—rather than the more sinister Abyss or Nightmare—is most likely due to the existence of the Evolution Stone Plate.
The first to ever issue such a challenge was likely the Origin Divine Tree of the Ancient Times.
It was shattered into pieces, its branches and leaves scattering across the multidimensional plane until it turned to dust, yet it did not die completely. I have personally visited several worlds founded by the successors of the Origin Divine Tree.
The Divine Mulberry World, the Sakura Ancestor World, the Golden Tree World, and the Pandora World... they all share similarities, serving as world trees and the vanguards of their civilizations, all bearing the imprint of the Origin Divine Tree.
If viewed through the lens of bloodline inheritance, the Origin Divine Tree never truly perished. Its will might still be hiding in some corner, waiting for the moment of its return. Those capable of reaching Level 11 are certainly not ordinary entities.
Ah, yes, I see that Pandora has already fused with Nora. I can take a guess at what Sauron is attempting to achieve.
For some reason, even though this plan is almost certainly destined for failure, I suddenly have a faint, lucky feeling about it."
The middle-aged man spoke in this manner.
Levi was lost in similar thoughts.
He was familiar with the Divine Mulberry, which had vanished long ago. There was no need to mention the Golden Tree or Pandora. As for the Sakura Ancestor and the Divine Mulberry World, he had never heard of them; they had likely disappeared as well.
However, an "Ancient Banyan World" now exists, though it is still in its infancy and cannot yet be compared to those legendary predecessors.
So, this was the true history of the Origin Divine Tree.
The person across from him went on:
"Following the Ancient Era, the structure of the Four Great Giants World was firmly established, becoming unshakable, and no Fifth Pole could ever rise. The true ancestors of your knight lineage were once the most promising candidates to disrupt this balance. But they fell short in the end. Ultimately, while the astral world and the Underworld seem to be at odds and clash occasionally, they are simply the left and right hands used by the Land of Darkness to maintain order. When confronted with a crisis that could reshape heaven and earth, they join forces against it.
But the current situation seems to be shifting. With the sudden arrival of the Dark Insects and the terrifying power of the mother nest’s will, there may actually be a chance to destabilize the current four-pole structure. To be honest, I suspect the Dark Insects did not originate from our universe; they feel more like an external force."
Levi asked:
"Senior, do you believe these Dark Insects could also be a Primordial Spirit? Perhaps it unknowingly migrated to another universe during the Primordial Era... if other universes truly exist."
Heavenly Will reflected for a moment before speaking in a low voice:
"It is a possibility. On the whole, they resemble the Abyss, consuming all matter and life, yet they are even more dominant and resilient. While the essence of the Abyss is chaos—making demons appear like a group of schizophrenics split from the Primordial Spirit in an endless loop—the insects represent a super civilization defined by absolute obedience and unity. These two forces share similarities, yet they are fundamentally opposed to one another."
