Wizard starting from shoeing donkeys Chapter 1614 - 558: General Angerik

Previously on Wizard starting from shoeing donkeys...
Rein directed the joint exploration team to focus on the Fiend Demon controlling the King of Tyrannosaurs from within its metal skull, assigning Metheus and Dorick to topple the beast while preparing fire witchcraft to counter the emerging threat. With the dragons' coordinated assault, the massive construct crashed to the ground, releasing a shadowy, black-gas-shrouded goblin figure that lunged at the group. Sword Saint Terrio intercepted the attacker, revealing it as the robust, twin-bearded General Angerik, a notorious ancient goblin commander whose hoarse voice promised death before twin flame tornadoes from Ogre and Otto engulfed him.

"Boom!"

As a Dawn Killing Move boasting a vast strike zone and unleashed in duplicate, it slammed into the veteran Goblin Corps Commander, General Angerik, without delay, his silhouette swallowed up by the raging blaze whirlwind.

His entire frame got launched upward for an instant.

Rein squinted his gaze a touch, scrutinizing the adversary closely.

Even though thick shadows cloaked the foe and the twin Fiery Flame Storms inflicted minimal harm, the force from the Fiery Flame Storm delivered two crucial outcomes.

Firstly, it sparked a violent clash between the heavy dark haze around the enemy's exterior and the blaze force, now markedly diminished, which from one angle, notably weakened the adversary's defenses.

Secondly, this strike from brothers Otto and Ogre opened up a chance for the remaining three Federation Fire Element Dawn Wizards to launch their assault.

In a flash, the trio released their eagerly awaited Fire Element Dawn Killing Move.

"Fire Wing Strike!!"

Wings forged from scorching inferno, stretching beyond ten meters, darted rapidly at the airborne Angerik.

"Flame Burst Bombardment!!"

Right on its heels came a barrage of hundreds of blazing spheres, resembling a fierce rainstorm, plummeting toward Angerik like cascading falls.

"Molten Rock Split!!"

At last, under Angerik's position, a broad expanse of magma surged from the metallic floor without warning, and a searing pillar of fire blended with liquid stone burst upward, smashing straight into Angerik.

"Boom boom boom!"

With these three Fire Element Dawn Witchcrafts colliding against the target, potent fire element ripples erupted everywhere!

The blazing blasts nearly choked the Federation soldier units and research groups positioned hundreds of meters distant.

At the same time, next to Rein, encompassing Otto, Ogre, and the other five Dawn Wizards, they were breathing a little heavily too.

After all, for the majority of mid-stage Dawn Wizards, they typically manage two or three Dawn Killing Moves, meaning unleashing one drains a hefty chunk of spiritual power.

Yet in that instant, grins lit up their faces, a sense of ease washing over them.

"Lord Rein, your quick alert made this flawless teamwork possible, or we couldn't have pulled it off." Otto remarked, beaming.

"Yeah, we've finally brought him down."

"This Fiend Demon sure is a pain!"

The rest chimed in with nods.

"Stay alert, folks—the fight's only getting started." Rein stared ahead, eyes tightened, cautioning the group.

"What! He's still alive?"

They snapped to attention at once, and the very next moment, their faces twisted in shock!

Amid the fading haze and flames, General Angerik, battered by five straight Fire Element Dawn Killing Moves, emerged in total disarray, his signature twin beard tufts burned away completely.

The once pristine high-grade goblin officer attire lay in ruins, his skin flushed red, as if the fierce fires from moments ago still seared him. But the issue lay in the dark vapors inside him gushing forth nonstop, steadily mending his form.

Put simply, exactly as Rein had warned, the enemy remained unvanquished.

"Shouldn't this foe be weakest against Fire Witchcraft?"

"How's he hanging on!"

...

Before they pieced it together, Goblin General Angerik twisted his rigid neck, his ebony gaze sweeping over the assembly, looking utterly enraged:

"Mortals... you've harmed me!"

"Taste my fury! Troops... obey my command, wipe them..."

"Pop!!!"

Out of nowhere, a massive claw glowing with silver-gray metallic sheen plunged from above, smashing Goblin General Angerik flat into the earth, cutting off his words mid-sentence.

It was Steel Dragon Dorick, landing a brutal hit from behind.

Still, Angerik's command appeared to activate, since shadowy forms started emerging nearby—those turned out to be mechanical velociraptors.

Rein pondered briefly, then directed the pair of dragons to handle Angerik's minions.

Given the weird Fiend Demon in play, should Black Dragon Metheus or Steel Dragon Dorick get tainted, things would spiral out of control, putting his mighty dragons at grave risk.

Thus, Rein favored taking down the enemy using distant Fire Witchcraft.

"What're you waiting for—hit him harder!"

Sword Saint Terrio bellowed in fury, then with a foot's push, he rocketed toward General Angerik like a released bolt.

"Hold on, Lord Terrio."

Rein yanked Terrio back.

Abruptly, a shadowy silver metal disk hurled from Terrio's rear toward Angerik's freshly risen figure like a bolt of lightning, 'whoosh', carving right through the enemy's central line in a blink.

At once, the rising Angerik went rigid!

A crimson streak materialized from his brow, trailing down his nose, lips, throat... straight along his body's center to the crotch....

Goblin General Angerik got cleaved clean in two by Rein's Dawn Killing Move, 'Blade-toothed Disc'.

"Lord Rein, you never miss a beat." Sword Saint Terrio eased up and complimented with a grin.

"No relaxing now—get ready, everyone. The moment the black fog reforms, unleash Fire Witchcraft right away." Rein tightened his eyes, his look graver than earlier.

Noticing Rein's demeanor, confusion gripped them.

Isn't it finished?

Why...

Streams of dark haze leaked from the split left and right sections of General Angerik's corpse, intertwining swiftly to create a bigger, wildly churning blob of black mist.
