Graham betrayed Stuttgart by unleashing a cursed dagger from the Earth Core's wooden box, piercing the sect leader's defenses and revealing his plot to summon the Spider Evil God Nael Breccan using the essence of two Dawn Wizards. As Stuttgart's body contorted into a towering humanoid-spider abomination and the Gorlon Giant's corpse birthed a colossal arachnid avatar, their linked wicked auras spread chaos, transforming guards into monstrous hybrids and driving Isodre wizards into panicked retreat. Aboard an approaching Empire airship, officials fiercely debated Rein's vengeful actions against the school, fearing civil war, while Rein faced the emerging horrors with resolve, preparing for direct combat to absorb their power.

"Arrogant!"

Graham bellowed furiously as he declared.

He immediately took Rein's statement as a direct affront to His Majesty Neubu’akan, failing to entertain the possibility that Rein could be telling the absolute truth.

Graham didn't need to utter another word, for the pair of divine beasts struck at Rein in unison.

"The Unseeable" Donok, that enormous spider with pink eyes born from Gorlon Giant’s corpse, abruptly ejected a white net toward Rein.

A closer inspection revealed the net's edge linked by a sturdy strand, which extended straight to Donok’s jaws.

To put it simply, should the white net ensnare its target, the durable line would yank back swiftly, dragging an average-sized victim right into its savage maw without delay.

That was Donok’s unique skill, "Web Grasp."

Yet, deploying it on Rein guaranteed it would come to nothing.

For in that instant, Rein’s frame had abruptly swelled to immense proportions, making the net that should have engulfed him entirely merely drape over part of his lower leg.

Before the eyes of all present, a colossal dark silver dragon materialized abruptly.

With a mere tug from a mighty dragon talon, the net shattered apart!

"Dragon’s bloodline?"

"No wonder your strength is so formidable!" Graham's face lit up with abrupt comprehension, and he exclaimed with glee at the same moment:

"What a wonderful twist. Sacrificing you could make His Majesty Neubu’akan’s demigod incarnation even more potent."

Right then, "The Unhearable" Kexi’er, possessing Stuttgart’s form, joined the assault on Rein as well.

An unseen, clear surge rushed forward. As it neared, it gouged the nearby earth down by several feet, and upon passing over a clueless guard, it triggered a blast that tore him to pieces on the spot.

"The Unhearable" Kexi’er appeared to unleash a sort of extremely high-pitched sonic assault.

"Roar!!!"

Rein’s eyes tightened a bit, his jaws parted broadly, and he unleashed a thunderous draconic bellow against the foe’s hidden sonic wave.

The matching forceful sonic burst created faint, see-through waves in the sky, clashing head-on with the enemy’s high-frequency ripples right away!

Even as onlookers expected the pair of sonic forces to nullify one another, or diminish greatly at worst, shock rippled through them upon seeing the core zone cancel out while the outer parts amplified instead.

As a result, nearby structures of the Isodre School crumbled away like dust, and several fogging-stage wizards from the school got surprised, swiftly disintegrating under the intense sonic blasts.

"These sonic waves pack too much punch—head into the buildings now!!" yelled the elderly gray-haired wizard of Isodre.

"Is this the fighting prowess of the Empire’s most youthful epic-tier powerhouse? It’s overwhelmingly fierce!"

"Yes, he’s holding his own against the Evil God’s manifestation!"

Mages from various schools watched in dread, understanding that Rein had held back considerably during his clash with their sect head, Stuttgart.

This realization even sparked strong admiration among many Isodre School mages for Rein, aware he possessed the might to swiftly overpower or slay their sect head Stuttgart, yet chose to urge an apology to the Empire instead.

In the meantime, Graham’s strike arrived at Rein too.

He fired off a yellowish ray carrying a pungent, fish-like odor,

A pestilence ray it was, capable of afflicting even a peak crystallization wizard with immediate infection, raging fever, and inner hemorrhaging, reducing them to a pool of rot in short order. But to Rein, it posed no real threat.

Rein remained still, lifting his draconic talon aglow in dark silver radiance to fully intercept it.

Upon shifting into the elder dragon shape, Rein’s presence surged dramatically higher, and above all, his close-combat and shielding prowess leaped across the board. Within this veteran dragon guise, his superior build and toxin immunity ensured strikes from Graham’s caliber inflicted minimal damage, direct hits notwithstanding.

....

None of the trio’s assaults could shake Rein’s elder dragon state, leaving Graham briefly dumbfounded!

In that brief span, he fancied Rein standing there as a towering, majestic peak—unbreakable and utterly unyielding.

"Prey... kill... (in a chaotic language)"

As a godly vessel, "The Unseeable" Donok lacked Graham’s deliberations. It shrieked and promptly directed its eight keen, enormous legs to charge Rein.

Despite its vast size, the creature moved with astonishing swiftness!

Isodre School mages nearby caught only fleeting blurs racing at Rein, yet the beast had already closed in for combat.

"Clang! Clang! Clang!!"

Donok’s forward legs, akin to massive bolts from a ballista, thrust at Rein with bolt-like speed over a dozen times, only to get repelled by Rein’s razor-sharp dragon talons.

Right away, the metallic strikes rang out thick and fast, like a downpour lashing broad leaves!

Graham proved wiser this round. Rather than offensive magic, he invoked a binding incantation—Shadow Binding. Dense chains of shadow coiled around Rein’s enormous elder dragon frame...

Though Shadow Binding failed to halt Rein’s strikes entirely, it notably hampered his mobility. Despite Rein’s robust defenses curbing much of the effect, the resulting slowdown in pace sufficed to tilt the fight’s equilibrium.
