Wizard starting from shoeing donkeys Chapter 1544 - 531: Upheaval and Chaos (Part 2)

Graham grinned and approached Stuttgart, looking as if he planned to pass the Earth Core directly to him.
Right when Stuttgart, his face beaming with delight, grasped the wooden box.
The situation flipped in an instant!
"Pffft!"
From the base of the wooden box, a dagger glowing with shadowy light burst forth like a bolt of lightning, stabbing into Stuttgart’s chest at incredible velocity!
Even as Stuttgart’s natural Defensive Witchcraft triggered, it got shattered right away.
Without doubt, this dagger stood out as something special, its strength suggesting it bore the touch of Divine Power.
"You!!" Stuttgart’s eyes bulged wide, staring at Graham in utter shock.
"I’m sorry, Stuttgart, the great Lord Nael Breccan is about to descend, but for that, it requires the spirits and essence blood of two Dawn Wizards, and you were just the first in my plan."
"Rest assured, as for Rein, I will help kill him for you, I will avenge your grievance."
Graham kept smiling while he explained, extending a finger to chant a short incantation, then pressing it against the dagger’s dark glow.
In the following moment, the dagger dissolved into swirling black mist, savagely eating away at Stuttgart’s injured form.
"Ah!!!"
Stuttgart shook violently like chaff in the wind, dark lines resembling spider webs emerging on his face and arms, as he let out a piercing cry of torment.
Next, Stuttgart’s form rose into the air, an evil, majestic, and crushing presence started radiating from within him.
Yet at the same moment, the Gorlon Giant’s remains also unleashed a similar sinister energy.
In a flash, both energies surged stronger by manyfold!
Oddly enough, a strange connection appeared to link the pair.
It felt like a dual entity was on the verge of arrival!
This abrupt shift sparked screams of horror among the Isodre School wizards.
"Sect Leader!!"
Though numerous School Wizards knew their Sect Leader Stuttgart had erred, watching him fall to Graham’s treachery stirred waves of sorrow, loyalty, and fury in them.
Yet, cowed by Graham’s might, nobody ventured forth to seek justice.
...
At the same time.
Far above in the clouds, still a ways off from the Shirendil Plateau, an Empire Airship raced forward at top speed.
Inside the opulent quarters of the airship, seated around a sleek oval table, a group of esteemed figures engaged in a heated discussion.
"Rein’s unauthorized slaying of Marquis Orlanz was outrageous enough, and now he’s charging straight to the Isodre School for payback—is he aiming to spark a war inside the Empire?"
The one voicing this was Pantoscoke, the Empire Guardian known as ’Storm Cloud’.
"That’s not entirely fair; the Isodre School’s scheme to send killers after Lord Rein’s allies is proven fact, so his trip there makes sense." Marshal Alfred countered logically.
"Right now, just the word of one Isodre School Wizard accusing Deputy Sect Leader Malcolm doesn’t prove anything wrong with the whole Isodre School, much less point fingers at Sect Leader Stuttgart."
"Plus, even if it’s valid, what’s the Elder Council there for? If every hot-headed young lord like Rein took matters into his own hands, the Empire would descend into disorder!" Pantoscoke grumbled in irritation.
For a brief instant, Marshal Alfred found himself at a loss for a comeback.
After all, the man’s points rang true.
Then, a middle-aged figure clad in the Empire Military Department Marshal’s attire declared firmly:
"Our Military Department has uncovered classified intel showing that the Secret School Tutkash, on the Shirendil Plateau’s western edge, has ramped up its movements over the last couple of years, hinting at bigger schemes."
"Thus, the Empire relies on the Isodre School to keep the Shirendil Plateau secure right now, and Lord Rein’s actions go against our key strategy of leveraging major Wizard Schools to hold the frontiers!"
"It completely ignores the Empire’s vital concerns!"
This Army Marshal, backed by the Empire’s Conservative Party nobles, went by the name Mayer Lane.
He firmly held that the Imperial Swordsmen Department ought to fold into the Military Department, or else overlapping commands and divided authority would breed trouble, which explained his ongoing friction with Swordsmen Marshal Alfred.
"Enough bickering! We’ll hold off until we get there, then question Rein for the full story to grasp what’s really happening," an older voice interjected.
The speaker was Elder Ivan, someone Rein had encountered previously.
Thanks to Rein’s earlier deed of rescuing the ’Red Queen’ Menia, Elder Ivan harbored a positive view of him.
Just half a day prior, after alerts reached the Empire Elder Council about Rein’s unsanctioned killing of an Imperial Marquis and his path toward the Shirendil Plateau, he chose to head out with a group.
He feared that Rein’s youthful fire might lead to a showdown with Stuttgart, and if that occurred, he could step in to smooth things over.
In the end, he couldn’t let Menia’s savior come to harm during her closed-door cultivation.
...
Nirheim.
As Rein slammed his palm down, sending out a broad surge of dark silver metallic waves that engulfed and skewered the swarm of hundreds of foreign spider creatures, he spotted the wild shift in Stuttgart’s body.
The form stretched out to its limits, while a pale gray exoskeleton etched with intricate designs swiftly coated the outside, spider legs sprouting from the bottom section.
Before long, a grotesque beast towering over ten meters tall, with a human-like torso atop a spider base, loomed in front of Rein.
Eerie whispers pulsed from its core...
The guards stationed at the Isodre School’s entrance abruptly wailed in panic!
These mere Knight-level sentries suddenly sprouted spider hairs across their skin, letting go of swords and shields as their arms morphed into spider appendages, rendering them unable to grip arms or defenses.
That whispering acted like an enchanting chant, twisting people into these hybrid human-spider abominations!
And from the massive frame of the Gorlon Giant, a violent eruption occurred, as though something had emerged by feeding on its remains.
A colossal spider, rivaling the Gorlon Giant in scale, emerged gradually from its gut.
Its eight razor-edged legs extended to a staggering thirty or forty meters, dwarfing its ten-meter-wide orb-like body.
Rosy compound eyes dotted the area around its enormous maw.
Even Fogging-level wizards would reel from vertigo with one look.
Meanwhile, the Wizard Apprentices appeared utterly entranced, stiffly marching toward the monster in front.
Though most wizards on site likely didn’t grasp the nature of these creatures, the two ancient ’living fossil’ wizards from the Isodre School did.
"This is bad! These match the two Avatars of the Spider Evil God Nael Breccan described in old records!" the white-haired elder wizard cried out.
"That’s right! It’s the ’Unhearing’ Kexi’er and the ’Unseeing’ Donok!"
"All of you, fall back now! First Level Wizards, apply Silence Spell to yourselves immediately!" the bearded old wizard bellowed, issuing swift orders.
With the two elders’ urgent warnings, the frantic Isodre Wizards began to pull together some order.
However, to Graham, these wizards from the Isodre School weren’t his main worry.
His true target remained Rein standing before him.
"Lord Rein, the two Avatars of Lord Nael Breccan have arrived, and offering you up will seal their full manifestation," Graham regarded Rein with a smirk.
Rein stayed silent, merely glancing across the pair of beasts, displaying no dread but instead a spark of excitement.
Based on the thick holy aura pouring from them, true Avatars or not, they clearly channeled a hefty dose of Evil God might.
"Thank you!" Rein stated sincerely.
"Thank you?" Graham blinked in surprise.
"Thank you for calling forth these so-called Evil God Avatars; they’ll serve as fuel for my strength to grow."
While saying this, Rein shed his Wizard Robe, folded it carefully, and placed it nearby—witchcraft alone wouldn’t cut it, so he opted for close-quarters fighting.
